Navigating through the deep snow proved to be a challenge for Alex, as his attempts to run left behind a trail of snow angels. Realizing the impracticality of this approach, he opted for a slower and more deliberate crawl to navigate the snow-covered landscape. His heavier-than-expected body sank into the deep snow with each step, creating a unique set of challenges as he made his way toward the creature he suspected to be the Dungeon Floor Boss.

Despite the challenging journey through the deep snow, Alex found solace in the fact that the coldness of the Frozen Tundra didn't significantly affect him. His fur, offering minor ice resistance, provided insulation against the chilly environment. Still, he was still glad that he had gotten this floor as he believe any adventurers, regardless of their level of preparation, will have trouble finding their way through all of this snow.

And Alex was indeed correct, the challenging terrain of the Frozen Tundra would likely deter many adventurers, making it a formidable and strategic choice for Alex's dungeon. The combination of deep snow and the potential for harsh weather conditions could serve as a natural deterrent, adding an extra layer of difficulty for those attempting to explore or conquer this floor.

Before long, he arrives below the arena where the Dungeon floor boss awaits, which is on top of a small mountain, which annoyed him as he has to climb this. After spending some time climbing and almost tumbling down several times, he shook off the accumulated snow from his body, regained his footing, and scrutinized the surroundings. It's not exactly what one would envision as a boss arena; rather, it resembles a desolate clearing in the heart of the Frozen Tundra, on top of a mountain. The stark absence of snow and trees in this particular zone raises questions, is it a deliberate design choice by the system or a natural anomaly within the template?

Regardless of its design origins, he found the setting acceptable. Once reaching the summit, he even allowed himself a brief celebration, acknowledging the weariness accumulated during his arduous journey. After a few minutes of reclining on the ground, he rose once more, scanning the surroundings for any overlooked details. Apart from his initial observations, the mountain's peak was surprisingly level. It gave the impression that someone had cleaved the mountain in two, with the bottom portion serving as their dwelling.

However, the primary objective he sought was conspicuously absent. Nowhere to be seen. Gratefully, Alexa jogged his memory about a special perk bestowed upon all dungeon masters, the ability to command dungeon creatures.

Nevertheless, he required specific information on what he was supposed to command. So with a swift check in the system under the [Dungeon Creation] tab, he located the black dot in the holograph symbolizing the Dungeon Floor Boss. Positioned above this black dot was the name identifying the creature, A Chenoo.

Alex was completely unfamiliar with the creature known as a Chenoo, lacking any prior knowledge about it. Despite the mystery surrounding it, he now possessed the essential information to issue commands. With a swift mental command, Alex instructed the Chenoo to approach him.

It took some time but the Chenoo reached the mountaintop once the sun has finally gone down, only leaving the moon in sky. Now, a colossal but slightly shorter figure than Alex's towering frame stood before him, estimating it to be around 7 feet tall. Nevertheless, its imposing presence was undeniably impressive.

The Chenoo boasted an immense physique draped in pristine, frostbitten fur of pure white. Its eyes glowed with a malevolent and intense blue light. The creature's remarkably sharp teeth hinted at their capacity to effortlessly tear through flesh. The Chenoo had gnarled and powerful limbs that left profound imprints in the snow with every deliberate and haunting step it took. Its hand held elongated, skeletal fingers that sported sharp icicles, while its breath crystallized in the frigid air, enveloping its hulking form in an eerie mist.

Still if people compare the Chenoo to Alex, most people would say that Alex's new body was scarier than the Chenoo.

Now that he had concluded his description of the formidable creature before him, it was time to put his new body to the test. Opting solely for physical prowess without relying on magic, he aimed to gauge his strength. The decision stemmed from both a desire to assess his raw power and a recognition of his shitty magical skills. He may have been a bit lazy with his magic practice.

However, he harbored intentions of compensating for his magical shortcomings later. For now, it was a clash between a Wendigo-like beast, enhanced with a mix of various creature attributes, vs the formidable Chenoo. With a mere mental command, he directed the Chenoo to engage in combat with him.

--- Fight Scene Time ---

POV, Unknown

In the heart of the desolate, snow-covered mountain top, a bone-chilling wind howled through the icy pines. The moon cast an eerie glow upon the clearing where a colossal 9-foot Wendigo and a fearsome 7-foot Chenoo faced each other, their breath forming mist in the frigid air.

The Wendigo, its powerful frame coverd in jet black fur and horns scraping the sky, exuded an aura of malevolence. Its eyes burned with an unnatural hunger for a fight, and its elongated limbs moved with an unsettling grace. Opposite it stood the Chenoo, a creature with hulking muscles and a snarling countenance, its fur matted with frost.

The air crackled with tension as the adversaries circled each other, the silence broken only by the occasional gusts of wind. Suddenly, the Chenoo lunged forward, unleashing a barrage of powerful strikes with its massive claws. The Wendigo was agile despite its appearance, evaded the attacks with an uncanny fluidity.

The Wendigo, utilizing knowledge it had before its death, moved with a surprising agility and precision. It ducked and weaved, displaying a proficiency in striking and grappling techniques. The Chenoo, accustomed to more straightforward confrontations, found itself struggling to predict the Wendigo's unpredictable movements.

The Wendigo's tactics became increasingly apparent as it seamlessly transitioned between striking and dodging. It moved around the Chenoo, using its more powerful intelligence to exploit weaknesses in the creature's defense. The Chenoo, though powerful, seemed outmatched by the calculated finesse of its opponent.

Despite the Chenoo's formidable physical toughness, an average adventurer would find it nearly impossible to overpower. However, the Wendigo, possessing superior strength and speed, tilted the battle heavily in its favor. The confrontation appeared decidedly one-sided, with the advantage clearly lying with the Wendigo. While the Chenoo managed to land a few blows, the Wendigo only responded with a groan of pain, pushing it back but leaving the beast mostly unharmed.

Despite the relentless barrage of punches, the Chenoo persevered. The tide shifted when the Chenoo made a strategic move by lunging forward to ensnare the Wendigo in its powerful arms, which was successful. Although the Wendigo attempted to retaliate with a headbutt, it was too late as it was caught by surprise and by the Chenoo's agility and strength. Swiftly, it managed to throw the Wendigo off the mountain, securing a win in the intense confrontation.

The desolate wilderness fell silent once more, the only sound being the wind whistling through the barren trees as the Chenoo stood tall and dominant in the wintry landscape, only for a thud to be heard a couple seconds later. The fight ended with the Chenoo letting out a roar to show who was the winner.

--- Back to Alex ---

"HOLY SHIT!" Alex exclaimed, utterly caught off guard by the unexpected move. The idea of the Chenoo tossing him off the mountain hadn't even crossed his mind. Recognizing his lapse in judgment, he conceded defeat. His overconfidence in the fight and trusting too much in the combat skills he had honed before his demise proved insufficient preparation for being hurled off a mountain.

Fortunately, he emerged from the fall relatively unscathed, the deep snow absorbing the impact. Rising to his feet and shaking off the snow, he decided that it was time to rendezvous with everyone. Satisfied with his body's test, a newfound urge to engage in genuine combat surged within him.

Summoning his creatures and friends, Alex called for their presence. With several more tasks and discoveries awaiting him within the dungeon, such as utilizing all of his tokens and understanding the nuances of the template, he realized there was much to accomplish before venturing outside again. Additionally, the revelation of a daylight cycle added another layer of questions about the templates.

Encountering a minor dilemma, Alex pondered how to exit this floor. Consulting the [Dungeon Creation] tab proved fruitless, as there was no apparent exit. So he turned to the Dungeon Beginner Guide stored in his mind, he sifted through the information, seeking an answer to the puzzle of how to leave the dungeon. Alexa was no help as she reported that she didn't know much about the Dungeon at all.

Once again delving back into the book, Alex dedicated another round of scrutiny. After a few minutes of perusing its contents, he gleaned crucial insights and uncovered important rules that would guide his actions within the dungeon.

Among the newfound revelations, a significant piece of information that stood out to him was that as a Dungeon Master, Alex could initiate raids with his dungeon creatures. However, there were specific rules and restrictions that he needed to adhere to, to prevent the abuse of the raid feature.

The rules of the raids are as follows: a 4-hour time limit governed all his dungeon creature's ventures outside the dungeon. Regardless of Alex's commands, after this duration, they would automatically return. Furthermore, upon completing a raid, a mandatory 3-day cooldown period will be enacted before allowing another raid to start.

With the current limitations on raids, Alex understood that as he grew stronger, the rules that govern the duration and cooldown would eventually ease. The prospect emerged that, with increased power, he could envision a future where he could regularly summon raids and allow his dungeon creatures to linger in the real world for more extended periods, maybe even permanently.

Delving further into the guide, Alex discovered the means to leave the dungeon. As the dungeon master, he possessed the authority to summon an exit anywhere within his dungeon at his behest. However, for others to advance deeper or exit the dungeon, they would typically need to defeat the Floor Boss. However Alex realized he had the flexibility to alter this requirement if he chose to, but for the time being, he opted to maintain the standard protocol.

Summoning an exit leading to the first floor, a blue portal materialized, offering passage to the end of the first floor or the entrance to the second. Alex chose the first option. However, stepping through, Alex encountered the presence of his Death Angel, already waiting for him on the other side.

As the system finally gather what it wanted, only Ethan returned to the group. His Tall-Neck, dutifully fulfilling its designated role, continued the assigned tasks it was made for in its last world. Meanwhile, his Death Angel lingered close by, patiently awaiting Alex's return to consciousness.

Recognizing the importance of the other's presence before delving into significant ventures beyond his dungeon as he was new to this world, Alex decided it was best to wait for them. However, with a lingering curiosity about his own progress, he turned his attention to the task at hand, checking his stats for any new developments or insights since he had gotten a new body.
