6 Bloodbath

[Lu Cheng story]

In a small village in the countryside.

It was morning. People were working as usual! People were in their farm taking care for their animals. Some were driving carriage to deliver some goods. And some were fishing and harvesting their fruit of labor.

Kids were playing and the adults were doing their own job. It was a daily life of the commoners.

In a small house in the village. The sunshine was shining on a boy face.

"Lu Cheng! Its time to get up and eat. You'll be late for your try out for the Knight Academy!." Lu Cheng's mom was calling for him.

Lu Cheng got out of his stupor. Lu Cheng yawned.

"Coming!" Lu Cheng replied. And got up and headed to the dining room.

"Why are you tired?" Lu Cheng's mom replied. His mom was a elegant and gentle person.

Lu Cheng's appearance was thanks to his mom! And his mind was like his dad. He got a dashing face and had pretty good build as a child. Ever since when he saw his dad was a knight. He wanted to be one!

That's why yesterday he trained until it was already dark. He practiced his sword skills and wanted to improve for a try out to becoming a knight!

"I practice yesterday until it was dark." Lu Cheng said. Telling the truth.

"Why did you practice until it was night? You should get some rest for your try outs." Lu Cheng's mom said while glaring at him.

"Err... i wanted to improve myself and be the strongest knight!" Lu Cheng said proudly.

"Oh silly! You should get some rest too! Its important for your growth." Lu Cheng' mom hugged and said affectionately. Lu Cheng's mom was always kind to Lu Cheng.

Seing his mom care for him. He wanted his mom to protect his mom even more. His morale was going through the roof.

"Yes mom. I will do as you said." Lu Cheng nodded and said.

For kid like Lu Cheng he did have a pretty good presonality.

The door opened and saw his dad waking in and carried a boar in his hand. For a family like them who had a knight by their side was a pretty good. People would end up eating nothing if they don't have a job.

"I'm home." Lu Cheng's Father smiled and walking in the dining room.

"Welcome home dear. Where have you been?" Lu Cheng's mother said.

"I was hunting and caught a boar." Lu Cheng' father said.

"That's good. Come here its time to eat."

As a family they ate together just like a normal family would do.

At this moment while they were eating. A 3 foot tall with a green skin and pointy ear's. He was observing this village and left.

After they finished eating. Lu Cheng left the house and was heading to the examination.

Right when he was about to leave the bell was ringing.

Ding! Ding! Ding!

All the people in the small village was alarmed they immediately went to the knight examination.

After Lu Cheng heard this he informed his parents and went to the knight examination. The knight examination was located in the center of the village.

In the knight examination. There was a 30 knights guarding the people of the village. They looked fierce because of their fighting spirit was ignited when they heard the bell rang.

The knights were all level 20 and below. The higher ups of the knights send them here for the examination, they were all here to divide the kids in groups each having 5 knights guarding them. They never expect that a bunch of monster would attack at this day.

"All Knights prepare for battle! Ready your weapons and kill those bastards!" The Commander of the knights said.

All the knights were all ready raising their weapons ready for battle.

When they saw that it was only Goblins and Goblins shamans. They heaved a sigh of relief.

"Tch. Its only those goblins! Kill them all!" The commander of the knights said. When they were about to charged they felt the ground shaking. And in the woods came a <Goblin Leader> it was level 40. And there were those that were level 35 behind his back.

"A goblin leader! Why did it appear here!" The commander of the knight exclaimed.

Some of the knights said they were ready to run. The commander was the same. After all the hard-work he done to get into his current postion as a commander he didn't want to die in vain.

The commoners were stunned by this, even Lu Cheng and his parents. The villager begged for their help. But it was all pointless as this moment the commander commanded.

"Retreat! We will inform the headquarter about this!" The Commander said whille he was the first one to run. Followed by were all the knights that heard his command.

At this moment the villager's was in despair. All of them lost their hope of surviving.

Lu Cheng's father said to Lu Cheng and his mother.

"You two go first! Leave somewhere safe!" Lu Cheng's father said anxiously. While he was ready to fight.

"But what about you?! We are not gonna leave" Lu Cheng's mom said worriedly. She wanted the three of them to run.

"There's no time! Hurry!" Lu Cheng's father said.

"No! I won't leave" Lu Cheng's mom said.

Lu Cheng's father sighed and gave up.

"Fine! Go first ill be at you back" he said.

Lu Cheng and his mom nodded and ran as fast as they can. But when they looked back and saw that her husband was not there back. They looked around and saw that Lu Cheng's father was fighting the goblins he was surrounded.

"Noo!" Lu Cheng and his mom shouted.

There was blood everywhere, and lifeless bodies! It was a bloodbath. The goblins were killing the male of the and capturing the ladies. And when Goblin leader saw that there was someone escaping he sent five of his men and ordered to capture them alive.

When Lu Cheng saw the 5 goblins, he grabbed his mom arm and ran as fast as he could.

As they were running the 5 goblins was closing on them. When he saw this Lu Cheng was already axious and ran as fast as he could.

But just at this moment his mom tripped on a root and lost their momentum. The five goblins was already closing on them.

His mom spoke.

"Little Cheng! Go! Run as fast you can!" Lu Cheng's mom pushed Lu Cheng.

"But mom! I can't go with you! I need to take you away from here!" Lu Cheng said anxiously.

"Little Cheng! Do me a favor and run! Live happily!" Lu Cheng's mom said.

"But..." He was about to say something but was interrupted.

"Capture that woman and kill the boy!" One of the goblins said.

"Just go Little Cheng! Run as fast as you can!" Lu Cheng's mom smiled and pushed Lu Cheng.

After a moment of hesitation. Lu Cheng reluctantly left and said.

"I'm gonna avenge you guys!" Lu Cheng cried and said.

Lu Cheng mom cried and smiled.

"Live well my child!" She said.

Lu Cheng paused and turned around to see his mother being capture. He resented the goblins and felt weak that he coundn't protect his parents. He hated himself for being too weak! He also hated the knight who ran away.

He continued running

When they noticed that Lu Cheng was running they send the 3 footment to chase after Lu Cheng.

His mother sacrifice save Lu Cheng some time to run so he was ahead.
