9 Chapter 9 - Run Like The Wind!
As Theo was thinking for a way to get out from this dilemma, he suddenly remembered that he just levelled up and had extra stats points to be allocated.
"Since these rabbits are quick with their feet, before they activate their skills, I should upgrade my speed as well!" as Theo thought along these lines, he quickly summon his status screen up and put all his points in 'Agility'.
He was thinking that not only would he have better chances to avoid the attacks from these rabbits, he could also make his escape much faster with quicker speed.

[Agility points have exceeded by more than 10 points, the first tier of [Time Decelaration (Lv1)] has been automatically acquired!]

[For every battle, host could activate the skill [Time Decelaration (Lv1)] for 10 MP per second. Time decelaration ratio are: 1 real second equals to 1.5 decelarated seconds.]
Seeing this notification, Theo couldn't help but felt glad that he chose to put all his stats points into his 'Agility' attributes.
"Oho! This is unexpected!" he exclaimed in his heart happily.
"Since it exceeded 10 points to unlock [Time Decelaration (Lv1)] then maybe if it reached 20 it would upgrade to tier 2?"
Theo tightened his fists as he made a sudden determination and bought the [Basic Hunting Gear] at the system's 'Shop' for 5 RP. He chose to bet his luck on this purchase and switched his equipment from the [Sorcerer's Robe] to the [Basic Hunting Gear].

"HAHA!" Theo was grinning from ear to ear. His previous hunch was correct! The hunting gear has enough agility bonus to increase his points to 20!
However, looking at the outrageous consumption of MP, he could only use the skill for at least 6 seconds before he would ran out of juice. Before, looking at the meager 10 points increase in his MP after levelling up made him a bit unhappy. But now acquiring the skill unexpectedly though, should be enough for him to get out from this mess.
"Looks like a battle with this many opponents wouldn't be a wise choice.. in that case.." Theo suddenly inhaled a mouthful of air before suddenly shouting.
"He who lives can fight for another day!" as loudly as he could before raising his middle finger to the rabbits. He then started to dash out in the opposite direction.
Full Retreat!
At first, the rabbits were surprised when this human fella started shouting all of a sudden like a madman. However, when looking at the human raising the middle finger to them, although they didn't know what it meant, they founded out that their blood suddenly started to boil.
"Grawhhh!!"
The rabbit was enraged to the point that their eyes turned bloodshot red! This must be an innate instinct telling them that his human fella before them are acting insolent towards them!
How dare he!
"Catch me if you can stup*d rabbits! Growl some more like your mother did when I slapped her a*s last night!"
Theo was feeling quite exasperated to resort in escaping from mere rabbits. So he chose to get back at them by spouting dirty words while running away. Only this way could his heart be satisfied from such humiliation.
'Swoshh!' 'Swish!!'
The rabbit started to dash forward to chase this brazen human fella in front of them in a frenzy while blue aura started to emanate out from each one of them.
"Hah! You stup*d rabbits think you guys are the only one with a speed skill?!" as Theo sensed his impending doom, he quickly braved out first by quickly swearing and then activated his [Time Decelaration (Lv2)] skill.
"Shuuuuuu!"
As his speed activate, the world suddenly seems to slow down in his perspectives. In reality however, it was he who had become faster to the point where his dashing movements produced a sound friction against the air.
In the blink of an eye, Theo made it out from the Great Forest.
"That was a close call!" he exclaimed with breaths panting out rapidly in exhaustion from all the running.
His MP had all but emptied out before he needed to ran without the skill for another few seconds to escape from the pursuit.
While feeling relieved to have gotten out from his predicament, Theo still felt bitter over the thought that he had to escape from a bunch of rabbits. He swore that when he returns, all those rabbits would become extinct!
