4 Chapter 4 - The Map Appears!

"This humble person here is called Gosu oh Great sorcerer!" replied the young man.

"That reminds me oh Great sorcerer, if the likes of us would do you no trouble, could we have your honourable name sire?" he continued. His hands are clasped together looking no less like a greedy merchant.

"Humble?" Theo's mouth were a bit agape for awhile as there was someone right now in front of him who could praise themselves with a straight face. His interest and impression in this young man began to grew. He can't help but to think:

"This Gosu are quite well-versed in the arts of a*s-licking.. even calling me a sire.."

Thought Theo while touching his chin mimicking an elder grooming their beard, seemingly impressed with the fella, although he has none. He then decided that if this man were to show further potential, he would groom him to aid in his conquest as a Ruler in the future.

"I am called Theodore", he replied calmly.

"Where is this Kol's village situated in this world?"

"Ahh! So Great sorcerer's name is Sir Theodore." the man replied while nodding gently before continuing, "Although I may have yet to travel the world, this question is within my knowledge sir Theodore.", with a humble tone as if a servant.

"Kol's village is located in the State of Blight, under the ruling of the great Kalderan Empire", he said.

After a pause and looking towards the west, he continued:

"This village is surrounded by valleys to the West all the way up to the North, while the East is where the route going to Pearl Town is located and the further south down there below the hills are the sea facing the vast Calamity Ocean". Pointing towards several other locations, he also explained where the village center, market and several other places in the village to Theo.

It seems that he already took the initiative to explain things thoroughly. He even talks about secret locations around the village where he could catch some rare grasshoppers, his neighbour's cows, the village adult spa and some other bunch of random place.

Then, putting his finger on his forehead seeming as if he was trying to remember something important, he suddenly opened his eyes wide and exclaimed before slapping his own forehead with his palm.

"Oh! by the way Sir Theodore, the Great Forest to the West just before the valley is really dangerous and shouldn't be approached needlessly." with tone mixed with fear and vigilance.

[Ting!]

[Due to the precise guidance of locations from the peasant called Gosu, the map for this area has been completed. It may be referred to anytime by willing it.]

"Oh?", Theo was surprised for the map function to appear, looking towards the young man called Gosu and scanning his figure up and down, Theo couldn't help but approve of this man in his mind for his helpfulness eventhough he also mentioned some random useless stuff.

This Gosu fella looks just a little bit younger than him, with curly short black hairs but stoic figure, it would seem that he is a mix-breed between a shrewd merchant and an upright knight. Theo couldn't help but lament that divine natural law has been twisted by the existence of this fella before him.

"I extend my deepest gratitude for this information, young noble Gosu, I would be sure to reward you plenty in the future for this information." Theo replied in a graceful-like manner. Although he is currently acting like a scholarly gentleman, he was however, truly expressing his sincere thanks towards the fella.

After all, he needed all the information he could get as this is the first time he even existed in this new world. His situation is similar to that of a new-born infant.

"Oh sir Theodore! this humble person here is ellated with your praise, but does not deserves to be called a young noble! This much of information is common knowledge and basically everyone here knows about it!" he replied quickly, seeming to be afraid.

"Besides, should any of the nobles were to hear that I was being called as a noble, my small life would be forfeit for fear of smearing the title of real nobles!" explained the fella while panicking.

Hearing this, Theo's brows furrowed a little bit.

"I see.. then that is all. For now I would like to take a walk in the village and familiarize myself with the people, for I might be staying here for awhile." Theo replied while thinking to himself that this new World he was in is similar to all the novels he had read before. Hierarchy and aristocrats title are embedded deep into its culture.

Nodding silently, he thought that this settings, although seems traditional and ancient, would in fact make it easier for him and his abilities with the system to thrive!

"Okay Sir Theodore, if there is anything we could carter to your needs, please do not hesitate to approach us! We will excuse ourselves now." the fella smiled.

Extending both of his arms around the shoulders of two people in the crowd like a true brother, he made a gesture with his eyes for the rest of the crowd to follow him back to the village and they followed suit.

"Brother Gosu, what about my rice farm?" the unhappy man from before spoke.

"Idiot! Don't you realize that I just saved your neck from a dragon's jaw?!" Gosu reprimanded the man in a hush hush voice while his left hand slapped the man's head in the back.

"Forget your rice field for now, we musn't make that man displeased! lest all of our farms would turn into seas of flames by his magic!" he continued sternly.

Thinking up to here, the unhappy man suddenly stuttered and held his breath, thinking of how everything was a close call.

Theo was watching them at the back while wondering what they were up to huddling together like a bunch of sickos, unknowing of their gossip about him.

"Well, for now, I should think up of something before I make my next move in this village."
