17 Chapter 17 - The Great Plan!

The atmosphere in the hall right now was similar to that of knights and plebians kneeling before their king. Theo marveled in this feeling for awhile before slowly opening his eyes. He then began to command orders one after another in a firm and resolute tone.

"Now, I want you ten to split yourself into a three-man team! Each team should have two swordsmen and one archer! Take your weapons accordingly and the gears should be worn by the swordsmen!"

"You, Jerald the burly man! Take one of the sword and you will group together with me."

The rest of the ten men only took around a few minutes before they finish arranging themselves into a three, three-man team.

"My plan is simple, each team will position themselves North, East and West! I and Jerald will take the South towards the exit of great forest! We must not distance ourselves further than 10 meters towards the center!"

"The role of the swordsmen in each team is to agro the rabbits while the archer support their team from atop of trees! Try your best to not get detected!"

"The role of me and Jerald will be to support you three teams from the back, after you agro the rabits, one of the swordsmen must pull the rabbit to the south, which is towards us once you dealt enough damage to them! We will handle the rest."

"Me and Jerald will also rush to any team should anyone be in danger, so there is no need to worry. However! Everyone must be vigilance, this is after all, to temper your will and becomes part of your training!"

"Also..."

As Theo briefed them about his plan one after another, the ten men couldn't help but to admire Theo more intensely in their hearts for his strategy could be considered flawless!

According to their own research in the past before, if they killed one rabbit, ten will come, and if then killed ten, a hundred will come. Although they are not sure if a thousand would come if they defeated all hundred rabbits because no one has ever done that before. However, this figure is fixed and they have confirmed it numerous times before.

Theo's plan was to first kill one of the rabbit, in which ten will come. After that, they will knock the ten rabbit unconscious and retreat from the great forest while putting the ten unconscious rabbit inside a sack. Then, they will go to the river just nearby the entrance towards the great forest to drown the rabbit on the opposite shore. It sounded cruel but its the most effective nonetheless.

Thus, even if by drowning the rabbits will still attract more rabbits, being at the opposite banks of the river, with width of more than 10 meters wide, no rabbits will be able to leap such distance even if they use their abilities. Thus, the archers could easily dispatch them with no effort at all.

This is indeed a great plan!

All the people are now laughing and smiling merrily with each other when they imagine that they will be able to feast rabbit meat tonight! The tender and juicy meat of the rabbit is delicious without a doubt! No one dares to do that before was because of the consistent ramming of the rabbits waves after waves.

After everyone becomes confident with the hunt, Theo stood up from his throne and waved his hand forward. A 'flap!' sound could be heard from his sleeve creating an intense sound effect for such a pose.

"Now! Begins the hunt!!!!" Theo shouted with full of vigor. As everyone heard this shout, their hairs stood on end before an intense emotion exploded out from their hearts and let out a cry!

"HUURRAAAAAA!!"

Loud cheering and warcries boomed across the hall like thunder splitting the skies. They have decided that from now on, the rabbits that have hindered them for a long time will live in an eternal hellish nightmare!

Standing in front of the river and testing its depth, Theo was sure that his plan would work out. Grinning onto himself, he almost chuckled out loud before suppressing it deep in his heart. He was too excited to get even with those rabbits! Do they think he would not come back and play with their life after humiliating on their ganging up before?

"Alright, listen up! We will rotate between attacking and retreating ten times! Of which each time some of the villagers will assign themselves to pick up the drowned rabbits and send them to the chopping board! Prepare the meat well for everyone to feast!"

"From today onwards, no one will ever be hungry anymore in this village!"

As Theo spoke that line, he turned his back and headed towards the great forest. His robes swayed by the wind creating the image of a hero leaving for a holy battle! Then ten men followed suit behind him with similar dashing aura.

The villagers cheered them from behind and some even began to hug and huddle together while crying emotionally. They clenched their fist tight and send prayers for all the holy crusaders to return safe and sound!

Light seems to shine on their faces once more. A light filled with hope.
