Chapter 2

Namjoon was sitting on the wall near the entrance and scribbled away in his notebook while surveying a few of the students that were walking past.

"Yumei Kazuma should be 18 years old now.

Last seen 1 March 2009.

Clothes: Pink Tutu dress with pink ribbons tied to the end of plaited pigtails.

Hair colour: Brown

Eye Colour: Blue-"

"Joonie!"

He turned his head towards the voice and grinned. "Hobi! Jin!"

Hobi was walking with Jin, they sat down next to him. "What are you up too?"

"You guys know me, I am just making some notes."

Jin rolled his eyes at Namjoon while Hoseok took his notebook. Namjoon tried to grab it back from Hoseok. Hoseok opened it and widened his eyes at Namjoon then handing his notebook back.  "Joonie... Why are you really still looking for her? "

Namjoon averted his gaze to the ground in front of him. Since that day, seven years ago, he hasn't stopped looking for Yumei Kazuma. He opened his notebook on the page he was busy with and neatly tugged in the ribbon she wore.

Each year on the anniversary of her disappearance he began a new notebook, just because he kept up hope that this year will be different and he will find her.

Jin looked over his shoulder. "You still have that stupid ribbon?" Hoseok bumped against Jin's shoulder. "Do not say such things, Jin." Jin rubbed his shoulder. "But Hobi, it has been years he should just leave it alone."

Namjoon wasn't listening to a word they were saying, he trailed his fingers across the ribbon. "Nice to meet you, Joonie." That nickname stayed with him, he made his friends call him that. He blinked when a hand touched his shoulder. "Joonie, we are going."

Namjoon nodded his head as they left, his gaze fell back on his notebook.

"Yumei Kazuma," He dotted down. "I met her on the 1 March 2009 she had long brown hair and her hair was plaited pigtails with pink ribbons tied at the bottom. She had blue eyes and the cutest smile."

He closed his notebook after looking at his childish handwriting, he stretched and stood up from the wall, yes she should be eighteen now. He remembered running around the neighbourhood after she was taken but no one wanted to talk to him. Every time he mentioned the name Yumei Kazuma the doors closed in his face.

He sighed, 'Maybe Hobi and Jin were right and he should just give up on her.' He rubbed his neck and noticed a limousine parked a few blocks down the road. 'This is strange.'Namjoon opened his notebook. "Suspicious Limo, dropping of-" He squinted his eyes- "A girl with long brown hair, blue eyes and she is wearing, ripped blue jeans, sneakers, black t-shirt and a red-checkered over a shirt. Her hair was loose and she covered it with a grey beanie." Namjoon's gaze followed her and he kept writing in his notebook. "And she is wearing purple glasses."

He noticed the limo was still lurking around the corner and two young men stepped out from it. They were keeping a few strides from the girl. Namjoon's eyes widened. What was going on? Did he have a mystery on his hands? Or maybe he was just desperate to find Yumei that he was seeing things now. He shook his head at himself, "Why do you care, Namjoon?"

He couldn't remember why he did care in the first place, it might be the fact that he couldn't do anything to stop her from getting kidnapped. He also remembered that ridiculous pink tutu kind of dress she was wearing but what captured him the most was her childlike innocence, all he wanted was to see her smile that day.

Namjoon tore his gaze from the limo and walked inside the university, he had a free period before his English lit class. He might as well go to the little club he started, Classic Mystery.

The closer Yumei got to the university the more excited she got. She was looking out the window with her face plastering against it.

"Your face is going to stay like that if the bell rings."

Yumei blinked her eyes and turned her gaze towards Yoongi. "But it is fun."

He rolled his eyes at her, her shoulders dropped and she leaned back in the seat, Jimin had a big smile on his face. "Are you ready?"

She grinned, "I am so ready for this." She looked at Yoongi then towards Jimin. "You promise that dad said I am doing this alone?"

They both nodded at her, " We swear your father said that you are in your own."

They placed their fingers across their hearts but their other fingers behind their backs and the limo stopped. Yoongi's glared hardened at her. "Let us go over this again."

Yumei let out a sigh. "Good Morning, I am Yuki Dodjima. I am 18 years old and I come from Jeonju."

Jimin pinched Yoongi. "Don't be so hard on her." Yoongi turned to him, "If she doesn't get this right Jimin, you know Mr Kazuma would have our fingers."

Jimin averted his gaze from Yoongi and smiled at Yumei. "You are going to do fine, love."

Yumei knew she could count on Jimin the most, well because she knew him the longest. Yoongi on the other hand, she only met him two months after she got returned from the kidnapping and he was always mean to her. "Okay, I will climb out here."

Yoongi placed his hand on her arm, "No you will not. Your father said in front of the building and not in some alleyway."Yumei shrugged his handoff. " That would be more suspicious then climbing of here."

Before Yoongi could answer, Jimin placed his hand on his shoulder. "Yumei is correct, let her climb out here." Yoongi just nodded in response. "Fine, but we will see you here at 3 pm sharp."

Yumei grinned, "Of course! " Yumei opened the car door and swung her bag over her shoulder. "I'll see you guys later!"

They waved at her, Jimin counted to 10. 'Alright, I think she is far enough."

Yoongi climbed out first. "How do you want to play this?"

Jimin grinned at Yoongi now and gave him an ID card. "Congratulations Kiryu Shoma. You just became a student."
