Scarlett looked at Vin who was looking at her anxiously. She thought, 'You really made your old man sign this?' She asked Vin with a faint smile, "I don't remember talking about the note mentioned here."

Vin felt he was wronged and he complained, "Then after you bear my child, you thought you can marry another man in some other country. I will track you down and steal you. Don't forget." She chuckled and asked, "Steal me?? I am a human being, Vinson".

She signed the file and gave it to him. He took the file and kept in the table. He switched off the light and laid beside Scarlett. He pulled her close and said, "I think you should stop calling me Vinson. My heart might jump out next time."

Scarlett smiled mischievously and leaned close to his ears and said alluringly, "Vin..son!" Vin pinched her waist and said, "You brat! I should tame you soon". Scarlett refuted in his arms and punched his chest then said, "Who is a brat? Ah? I am the mother of your kids don't forget!"

While Scarlett was blushing because of what she said, Vin took her left hand and slipped a ring in her finger. Scarlett was surprised, she didn't say anything. Vin kissed her lips and said, "Just because we didn't register, doesn't mean you are not my wife". She smiled shyly and nodded in response.

Then he said, "It took time for me to find a similar metal to the one you gave me." Scarlett nodded and hugged him. She thought, 'Obviously! My country's mines are the best in the world.'

Vin then cleared his throat and asked with concern, "How are feeling darling? Still painful?" Scarlett understood what he trying to ask. She buried herself in his embrace and mumbled, "Only if you can be gentle".

Vin's face suddenly became bright and then he said, "Definitely!" The night was then filled with friction sounds, moans and grunts.

The next morning, Vin woke up early. He carried the sleeping beauty in his arms to the bathroom. Wiped her body in the bath tub, then changed her clothes. He wore a suit and left for office. He have to go for sure as he had a leave yesterday.

But he smiled looking at the ring in his pinky. He felt as if he got married and he thought, 'I should earn a lot for my darling and my little darling'.

When Scarlett woke up, she wearing a another gown. She felt refreshed and smell of the soap gel came from her body. She then realised, Vin must have given her a bath. She stood from the bed, brushed her teeth and went to the kitchen.

She saw a man in fifties was sitting in the sofa reading newspaper. He had the same hair as Vin and his facial features. He looked fit, though the wrinkles in his face gave away his age. She didn't know what to do, she stood at the entrance of the living room.

The man realised someone is standing in the entrance. He looked at the girl, he was so surprised to see her. He thought of one word, 'Adaline'. He immediately stood up from the sofa and talked to her, "Good morning, Izzy. I am Robert Gregario, father of Vinson. Come here, have a seat."

Scarlett smiled at him and said, "Good morning, Mr.Gregario." He smiled immediately whick break the tension between them and said, "Oh please! Call me Uncle or Father-in-law. Your wish" Scarlett smiled and said, "Okay, Uncle". He patted her head and asked, "Did you had breakfast? Come on, Uncle will eat with you today!"

Then, they both ate while talking about Vin and his sister Vanessa. That is when she found out that the cosmetics and clothes belonged to his sister. Laughter was filled in the dining table.

After they finished the breakfast, Robert asked Scarlett, "Can we talk about something alone?" Scarlett felt a bit nervous and nodded.

They took a walk in garden, she thought, 'Is he going to force me to leave Vin?' After few moments of silence, Robert said, "Vivianne?" Scarlett was stunned and looked at him with a fear.....

In the office, Vin was worried. He told Aunty Pam to tell Scarlett, to call him as soon as she woke up. 'Is she still sleeping?', he thought. He wanted to call her but decided to wait.

After Robert left, Aunty Pam told Scarlett to call Vin. She called Vinson and talked to him. She didn't mention anything about Robert.

A month went by, Vin was a having a great time, so did Scarlett. But he didn't let her have any sleep at night. She is doing exercises with him daily to make her body fit. 'This guy Vin becomes a different person in bed and doesn't let me go', She thought and sighed.

She wished so badly, to have her period. That is when she realised, it has been a while since her last period. 'Could I be pregnant?', she thought. Then she thought, 'May be, there is a chance. We have been doing it since the day that doctor said I have recovered completely'

After lots of thoughts, she finally built her courage up and asked Aunty Pam to arrange for Pregnancy test kit. She said, "No problem, dear. You go and take rest, go. Don't stand too much, okay? I will bring you fresh juice in few minutes".

Aunty Pam had also thought about it, because she didn't ask for sanitary napkins this month. Aunty Pam immediately called Vin and told him about it. Vin was in the meeting, he answered only because it was Aunty Pam.

As soon as he heard the news, he cancelled the meeting and rushed home. On the way he picked John with necessities required for checking.

Scarlett was touching her stomach while she was lying down on the bed. Suddenly, Vin barged into the room and saw Scarlett. He rushed to her hugged her. Scarlett was puzzled, she asked, "What happened, Vinson?" He asked directly, "Are you Pregnant, Scarlett?"
