"Marry me"

Scarlett was stunned hearing these words. She knew one day or another she had to face this question. But she didn't expect it this soon. Before she knew it, tears slided from her eyes. Vin immediately sat beside her and hugged her. He thought she accepted his prosposal.

Scarlett was in Vin's embrace without saying anything. Vin caressed her hair leisurely. Scarlett took a deep breath and pushed him gently. He thought she wanted to see his face so he loosened his grip on her. Scarlett said to herself, 'You are not only Scarlett, you are Vivianne too. Don't forget your responsibilities.'

She looked into Vin's eyes and said while tears fowing down, "You know, I can't do that". Then she burst into tears, this was not what she planned. She wanted to reject him upright but she couldn't do it because she loved him too.

Vin didn't know what to say, he kept quiet and coaxed her. She eventually fell asleep, he asked his assistant to dig about Scarlett. He knew her birth day, it was July 7th. Coincidence or destiny they don't known Vin's birthday is July 8th. He is 7 years older than her and she is only 17 now.

When he told Rick about her, he realised if someone were to file a case on him for attacking a 17 year old girl. He have to go to jail! He also felt bad that, she is on the run when she is just 17 years old. He sat beside her and thought about the ways to convince her for marriage.

Scarlett woke up in the evening. As soon as she woke she heard Vin talk in the phone about her. He is searching for her, but she knew he can't find about her. She is not someone from this country or the neighbouring countries. She thought of a way to stay with him for a year. She remembered something and immediately sat up.

But her hips pained so she left out a cry, "Ah...!" Vin immediately strolled to her and holded her. He said in the phone, "I will call you back later!" He looked at Scarlett and asked worriedly, "Shall I give you a massage?" Scarlett shaked her head and hugged him.

He smiled and thought, 'Clinging is also not bad!' She said to him with her face buried in his chest, "I know I'm being selfish but can I give a suggestion?" He hugged and caressed her hair then he said, "I'm listening".

She said in a childish tone, "You know I can't marry you!", He hmmm'd as a response. Then she continued, "I also want to be with you for while! So!" He asked, "So?" She replied, "We can make a contract, you know".

Vin pushed her and holded her by her shoulders. He looked into her eyes and asked a bit coldly, "Like what?" Tears welled up in her eyes but she didn't cry. She said looking at his deep black eyes, "I can give you a child, in turn you have to hide from this world for a year".

He didn't know what to say. He thought, 'Shouldn't I be the one to make this kind of contract?' He asked her, "What if I don't agree?" Scarlett looked down then lifted her head with a pair of serious eyes and said, "Then I have to leave,..... immediately".

Vin let go of her and stood up from his place. Before he left the room, he said, "I need some time". He didn't wait for her reply. He took his car and went out. He didn't even change his clothes. Scarlett laid down on the bed.

She started to think about leaving. If she left, she will need a house to live first. His uncle has not yet contacted her since the incident at cruise. He left him a message in the email draft. He should have called her as soon as he saw the message. Now she started to doubt whether he is alive or not.

On her 18 th birthday, her Big Uncle from O country will call her to ask about the status and her return. Both of her uncles are trying to gain people on their side. She has to stay alive and healthy for the time being.

Vin didn't come home, till night. Around 11 'o' clock, the door of the room moved. Scarlett was awake but her back was facing the door. He put his jacket in the hanger, placed a file in his table and removed his t-shirt. He then switched off the light and slipped into the blanket.

He hugged Scarlett from behind, from the way she reacted he understood she is awake. He hugged her closely and said with a deep voice, "Is my darling angry at me?" Hearing his voice, she turned around and hugged him. She said inbetween her sobs, "I thought... you didn't.... want me".

Vin replied in a complaining tone, "Hey! you are the one who rejected my proposal in the first place." In the room only bedside lamp was lit which was very mild. But he could see her bulged eyes in it. He kissed her eyes and said, "Sorry, I had to sort out somethings"

She nodded her head in his embrace. Vin said, "One minute", then he stood up from the bed switched the light on. He took the file then a pen from the drawer and came to the bed. Scarlett was already sitting in the bed. He caressed her face, her eyes were bulged but it didn't make her any less from being a beauty.

He gave her the file and a kiss on her forehead. Then he said, "Look through it and sign. I already signed and got my father's signature." Scarlett was surprised to hear him say these things. 'He, agreeing to this itself is a big thing', she thought.

She then asked before opening the file, "Father's signature?" Vin smiled and said, "Our child will be the heir of Gregario empire. So I had to make some preparations for our child with my father. I didn't expect him to agree to this immediately, though."

Scarlett called his name very gently, "Vinson?". When he heard her call him, his heart skipped a beat. He thought, 'Even though I lead, why do I feel like being treated as a girl?' Scarlett's turquoise eyes looked into his eyes, she came close to him and kissed him in his lips.

Vin forgot to breath for a minute. He smiled looking at her and thought, 'Only you can make me feel this way, Scarlett'.
