"Uncle, I am fine!"

The voice on the other end said, "I don't believe you stayed in a man's house Izzy! What will I say to your mother when she knows about this?" Scarlett chuckled and said, "Then don't let her find out, Uncle!"

The voice on the other end said, "Are you alone with that guy? Is it safe there?..."

When Vin woke up it was around noon. He woke up as a result of his stomach grumbles. He slowly rubbed his eyes and saw the time in his phone. It was noon, his eyes grew wide and then he rushed to the door. For his own good, he stopped at the door. He then went to the cupboard and grabbed clothes.

Vin has the habit of sleeping naked. Then he rushed out and saw a maid, watering the decoration plants in the corridor. He asked in a hurry, "Has Scarlett left?" The maid looked at him in confusion. Then he asked again, "Has Izzy left?"

The maid nodded and said, "Butler Fin, took Lady Izzy in the car". Vin felt so bad for sleeping-in today. He took a leave today so that if possible he could stick around with his Scarlett more. He walked to the kitchen to find Aunty Pam.

She was in the living room. As soon she saw him, she walked to him and said, "Lady Izzy, she left around 9 am, young master. She asked us not to wake you as you were sleeping soundly. But She were waited an hour for you, young master. And she told me to give you this." Aunty Pam gave Vin a letter.

In that letter,

"Thank you for helping me VG.

If.... and If we meet again, I will really take that kiss back.

- Scarlett"

Seeing the slanted cursive words, written as if typed he smiled. He thought, 'I will find you one day, Scarlett and I will make you take that kiss back.'

He went to the guest room, the thought of her being in the room made him feel more fulfilled. He took the clothes she wore, which was on the bed. Then he sat on the bed, he could feel her presence in the room. After sometime of thinking about of her, he stood up as his stomach kept growling.

He took another look standing at the door. That is when he noticed, a paper with letters 'VG' was on the bedside table. Next to the paper, there was a ring. It was a plain ring made of silver, with initials 'VA' inscribed in the inner side of the ring.

When he thought about her, he remembered that she had two rings in her fingers of the right hand. One was on the index finger and the other was on the ring finger. This was the one in her index finger. An oval shaped jade stone placed inside a complicated gold coloured designed ring was in her ring finger.

He thought, 'Thank god, It was not in her left hand'. He then slipped the ring into his pinky on the right hand.

After a week,

Vin has been searching her, for a week now. He had didn't get a clue about her. He traced the number she called the other day, but it was invalid. The number is not available now. He didn't know, who she is running from. He didn't know whether she left the country or not.

He kept the search in a small scale, since she was just an acquaintance. But he couldn't stop it so he kept it going. He was so moody thinking about her. The way she looked under the moonlight on the lake kept appearing everytime he closed his eyes.

He thought, 'Scarlett, you better not let me find you. If I did, you have to bear my children to form a football team.'

His assistant Rick knocked the door disturbing the thought. Vin said lazily, "Come in". Rick walked to the table and said, "President, 8 'o' clock we have to attend a meeting in the Felicia cruise. You told me to remind me 2 hours ago the meeting and I have prepared the gift you asked."

Vin replied, "Okay! If we don't have anything else we can leave now.." Rick was a bit sad, because his boss is not in the good mood for a week. His boss was dragging himself without any interest. He kind of feels bad for his boss and hoped that his boss would find his girl.

After working for one more hour. Vin and his assistant left the office and then suited up. Then they reached the harbour by 7 pm. At 7:30pm, the cruise took off from the shore. In the Felicia cruise, a Masquerade Ball was held.

Our Prince Charming Vin was wearing a Beige royal handmade suit. Rick was no less compared to others, he was wearing a rich black and white suit. The other Prince Charming Lynn, was also there for the Ball. He was were a brown Royal suit.

Another two handsome friends of Vin, John Hawkins and Ryan Frederick were also present. John is a blond with green eyes and Ryan has Black hair with brown eyes. Ryan's parents are from another prestigious family on par with Gregarios expect the wealth department.

These five have been together since childhood. Rick was the son of Uncle Fin and Aunty Pam. They were once in the main house, but Vin arranged for them to move into the lake house so that their burden will decrease. The other four has always treated Rick as their equal.

Vin, being moody affected the atmosphere around the others. John said cheerfully, "Come on mate! You will find her sooner or later. Enjoy now! There is a bunch of girls waiting to dance with you" Vin didn't say anything he just sipped the wine.

The other three, dragged Rick and went to the dance floor. Everyone was wearing masks, so there was no way to identify the other. But the girls knew who they are dancing with. Vin was thinking of Scarlett. He slowly walked towards the balcony.

Suddenly, someone bumped into Vin. The wine in his hands spilled onto the person who bumped into him. The person was a girl, she was in a rush. She looked at Vin's eyes, she looked at him for a second in surprise. He knew who she was, her turquoise eyes visible through the red mask, her scorching crimson hair told who she was.

Hw opened his mouth to say something. But, tears fall from her eyes and she shaked her head like telling him not to say anything. Then she rushed to the balcony. Vin was in a complete loss seeing her tears, he froze in his place. A waiter came to him and gave him a tissue, "Sir".

Vin was confused, he thought 'the wine spilled on her not me'. Then he looked down to see red colour stain on his beige coat. Then he thanked the waiter and removed his coat. He touched the stain and then he was shocked. Vin said in pain, "It is not wine, It is Blood."
