6 Call me, Vinson.

"It is not wine, It is Blood"

Vin's mind became blank, he rushed to the balcony. He is in the upper deck, there is stairs in the end of the balcony which leads to the lower deck. In the lower deck, front half is open area with swimming pool. After the swimming pool is the edge of the cruise.

Near the edge, 5 guys with knife in their hand stood surrounding the girl in red gown. Vin rushed to that area. Scarlett has no way of escape, if she got caught they will spoil her and sell her to other country for sure. She couldn't see Vin rushing to her, due to height issues.

The only way is to jump but she can't survive as she has an open wound. She started to climb the rail but she stopped and turned back when she heard a terrified voice screamed "Scarlett!"

Everyone turned back to find Vin rushing to the spot. He didn't say or ask anything, he started to beat them up.

Vin, being the only son and heir of the Gregario group has been kidnapped many times in childhood. Their parents were worried about it at first and later made him learn all types of Martial arts available. Later on when he got kidnapped, he will come home by himself fighting them.

Since he was there, his little sister also didn't need any body guard. It only took him few minutes to beat them blue.

Scarlett was hurt and drugged, her will helped her to stay awake. As soon as she saw Vin, she smiled and let the drug do its work.

Vin's friends sensed his disappearance and found him walking near the swimming pool. He had a girl in his arms, they were surpirised and rushed to him. Lynn say the familiar hair and asked Vin, "Is she that girl?". Vin nodded and went to the medic centre in the cruise.

After an hour , the doctor came out and asked, "Mr.Gregario, is she your girlfriend?"

Vin nodded, then the doctor continued, "Her wound is deep, we cleaned it and made few stitches. She has lost lots of blood, her body is injected with sleeping drug D-7. It is very powerful and used for mentally retarded persons. They have used it in this poor girl.

Seriously, her will power is something else. Her body is fit so she might recover soon. It will take 24 to 30 hours till the drug wears off. We can supply blood to her system only after the drug wears. Untill then she will be weak, we are already injecting glucose to her."

The temperature in the room decreased several degrees, Vin didn't say anything for a while. He sat beside Scarlett and then ordered Rick to get their private yacht and helicopter ready. John's family specialise in medicine.

So John also stayed with Vin near her bedside, continously montering her vitals. In few hours his private yacht came, everyone boarded it. Vin carried Scarlett in his arms to the yacht. He organised a medical facility in the lake house before he reach there.

After few days, Scarlett slowly opened her eyes to see the cream coloured ceiling and familiar room with warm scent. Her lips curled up, she looked around and confirmed that she is in Vin's house.

She removed the glucose tube from her hand and went to the window. She opened the windows and looked outside.

Vin just took shower and wore home clothes. It is been four days since the incident at the cruise. Vin is working from home to take care of Scarlett and attending all the meeting through video conference. He took some files to look through in his hand and came to Scarlett's room.

When he opened the door, all he saw was the empty bed and open window. He dropped the file in his hand and ran to the window. The feeling of loosing her swallowed him. His world felt like it stopped.

At that time, the bathroom door was opened. A beauty wearing a baby pink sleeveless gown came out. He smiled gently at her in relief and rushed to her. He hugged her tightly and lifted her off the feet.

Scarlett was happy but she felt suffocated and her wound hurted. She said in a low tone, "C..can't ....bre..ath... h...urts". He only heard the last word clearly, then he remembered her wounds and placed her gently in the bed.

He sat in the chair nearby and asked nervously, "Where does it hurt? Shall I call the doctor? Did the stitch open up? Do you feel dizzy? Need something to drink or eat?"

Scarlett chuckled hearing his series of questions then she said, "Vinson, Cool down. Looks like you are the who needs doctor". Seeing her smile, he smiled too. He then asked, "Seriously, say! does it hurt anywhere?"

Scarlett replied with a shy smile, "I'm fine, VG. But... kind of hungry". Vin immediately stood up and called Aunty Pam to bring the food. She was happy to see that Scarlett woke up. She brought some porridge and gave it to her.

Vin immediately took the bowl from her hands and said, "Ahh..." Scarlett's cheeks turned red on hearing this. Vin said to Aunty Pam, "I will take it from here, Aunty Pam". She understood, nodded and went out.

Scarlett became nervous being in same room with Vin alone. Vin took a spoonfull and blowed it to cool down. Then he fed her, Scarlett kept her eyes down the whole time and obeyed him without saying anything.

She is not a shy child but being next to him makes her more nervous. She talks more all the time with others. When coming to him, she has no words to utter. Vin opened his mouth and said, "Call me, Vinson".

She looked up at his eyes before she could say anything, Vin continued, "I know, I was one who told to call me whatever you want. But it is nice when your lips say Vinson". Scarlett became more red, averted her eyes. She thought, 'Where are you looking? Idiot'.

Actually she mumbled it out, he replied looking at her eyes, "I'm not only looking at your lips, other exciting places too". Scarlett covered her face with her hands and mumbled, "Pervert". Vin smiled and whined, "Yes! Yes! Now eat".

Scarlett said while covering her face, "I will eat myself, you keep it and go". Vin said cheerfully, "Ohhhh! you want me feed you mouth to mouth. I don't mind". She immediately shaked her head then removed her hands and opened her mouth.

It been 3 months now. Vin has been leaving to office late and coming home soon. He and Scarlett has grown so close. Scarlett has opened all her walls around him. Currently she is the only one who can order him around, scold him, fight with him and win.

Vin spoiled her to the end of the world. They both never said 'love you' to each other, but both of them knew their love is mutual. The lake house was always in spring for the past 3 months.

John's father, Ronald Hawkins came today to check Scarlett's condition. He said, "She is perfectly alright, her wounds are completely healed. Even her scar will be healed soon, just continue the ointment properly."

Scarlett nodded at him and said, "Thank you, Doctor Hawkins". He smiled then patted Scarlett's head and said, "Didn't I tell you last time to call me, Uncle Ronald?" She smiled back and said, "Thank you, Uncle Ronald".

Other than those two, Vin and John were also there. Vin was looking so cold, especially when Ronald patted Scarlett's head. John thought, 'Father, What are you doing? Didn't I tell you last time, not to talk to her like that?'.
