SOME HOPE KEEPS US ALIVE

He smiled after receiving the letter. He opened it with lots of expectations. But there are only two words in that letter. James smiled after reading it, but the smile says a lot. Alex took it from James and read aloud, "Thank you." Alex said to himself in his mind, 'Damn, why did you bring it back to life?'

Alex put the letter on the table and drank the beer.

James drinks the whole bottle at once.

'Aishh!!!, slow down, man,' Alex said.

'If anything bothers you talk it out, James. You feel better; you're the one always said to me that', Alex said.

James asked, 'Do you remember the day we first met?'

Alex said, 'How can I forget?' and smiled.

Flashback…

"8 years ago."

Alex was 14 years old when he first met James. James was a 12-year-old bad boy of the school. He almost got into a fight. One day on the way home, Alex saw his classmates were badly beating James.

Alex was the monitor of his class and a senior leader of the school too. He asked them to stop fighting. But they didn't obey Alex. Alex got mad and beat up his classmates for James and said he would inform the principal if they didn't stop.

Unfortunately, the teachers saw the fight and brought Alex and other students to the principal. They got punished.

Alex is a cool personality, and he tries to interact with James. He introduced himself. James just ignored Alex. He even didn't greet back. Alex just likes him because he looks similar to his lost brother.

Alex tried to get James' attention; he showed him the mini Robot, which he brought from France. James seems interested.

"Do you want it?'' Alex asked.

Alex just gave it to him;

James looked at the Robot closely. He is a fan of Robots; He likes it and wants it.

But James threw it and said in anger, because of you I can't teach them a lesson.

Alex asked, 'Why did you get in to fight?'

He replied, 'Because I love a girl and your damn friend asked her out.' Alex just laughed and said at this age. James hit him in his hand and ran away.

Every day Alex went to check on James, but James always ignores him.

After a week there is a meeting held of leaders. The reason for the meeting is a great issue, the choke box missing every day. It's a serious issue. And they decided to find the culprits. In charge of finding the culprit is given to Alex. Alex starts his investigation, but he did not find any clue about it.

It's been weak since he can't find the culprit.

So after the class, Alex decided to hide in the office room and pick the culprits hand by hand. Alex enters the room, and he searches for a place where he can hide and check the chalk box.

But unfortunately, the office room locked early on that day. He falls asleep there. And after a few hours later, he wakes up and finds out he is locked inside.

But Alex got stuck in the room. Alex shouted loud Help! Help! But no one is there, everyone is gone and the coming days are holiday.

Alex thinks he will die in this dark room. He cried. And his mind saying you will die even without dating. Alex lost his hope and sat in the corner.

A few minutes later, someone opened the door and took all the choke boxes.

Alex said, "Stop there!"

And from the little light coming from the door, Alex saw his face.

He got surprised and said, 'It's you.'

End of flashback.

James said the girl I loved the most was with me for two weeks, but I didn't recognize her.

Alex said, '6 years ago because of me you missed her out, and now it's also because of me too.'

Flashback…

The night before Aira got discharged…

James picks up the call; it was Alex.

James, go home quickly, something happened there, I'm attending an emergency,' Alex said.

James rushed to the home, he reached home and opened the door, and he was surprised; the house is full of water.

Alex forgot to turn off the tap when he got an emergency call. After seeing it, James ran to his room. He took a box and checked it.

'Thank god it's not wet,' James said.

His phone rings he picked up, it was Alex.

'Did my books are all ok?' Alex asked.

James said, let me check, and he went to check Alex's room. And said to him, your honeys are all okay.

Alex laughed and said, 'talk to you later there is an emergency and hang up the call.'

James off the tap, and he cleaned the full house. After that, he went to his room and lay down on the bed. He looked at the box. It's the secret treasure of James.

He opened the box and looked, all in it is okay or not. He checked one by one, and suddenly he saw a group photo which was his school photo; he took it from the box. And looked closely and said, it's Aira.

End of the flashback…

Alex feels guilty; he drinks the whole bottle at once.

James laughed out loud and said, 'If destiny's want to meet us again, we will meet again for sure. It seems it's not the exact time.' He looked at the moon and smiled.

Alex tapped James in his shoulder, and both smiled at each other.

The cold breeze freezing her feet; still, she walks with a smile. Aira saw from long Lar standing there, his face not clear. She rushed to him. But unfortunately, he walked away too fast. She ran after him calling Lar! Lar! Don't go! Suddenly Lar disappeared.
