138 The Beach Trip (Part 4)
Jun carefully kept the guitar in the case and closed it. Then lifting it up, he went towards the corner.
"Jun…" Hearing April's soft voice he turned back to see her standing in the door.
"Hey, April...What are you doing here? Others are preparing for dinner, right?" He asked.
"Yeah. I just came to call you."
"Oh! I was about to come." Saying this he kept the guitar case and started walking towards the door.
"Wait!"
He looked at her, "What happened?"
"Well…Umm…There was something I wanted to talk to you about…" She said hesitantly.
"Yeah, what is it?" He asked.
"I…I don't know what to say…."
"…." He stayed silent, giving her time to gather her words.
"Umm…Oh God!" She held her face, "I can't believe I am telling you this…"
"…."
"Well….We both know….actually now everyone knows that I had a crush on you during the school days…A-And that's why it's kind of weird to talk with you about this again…"
"It's okay. Don't think about what has happened. You can tell me anything freely."
On those words, she felt her face getting warm, making her cheeks turn red.
Jun was waiting patiently for her.
But both of them were unaware of one thing that someone was standing outside the room listening to their conversation.
Mia was standing against the wall leaning onto it.
She had come upstairs to call both April and Jun for the dinner but when she heard April talking, she had hidden herself quickly and now she was listening to what they were talking.
'Is she…Is she trying to confess to him again?' Mia was thinking as she held her shirt tight towards her neck.
"I want to confess to you something…" April said.
"!!" Mia's grip on her shirt tightened as she leaned towards the door trying to listen better.
"Okay…." Jun nodded.
"…."
Mia's heart was pounding really fast. 'Should I stay here? It doesn't feel right….I think….I think I should go….But I-I want to listen what she's saying…'
While she was in the dilemma of what she should do, April's next words came to her.
"I-I think I've got a crush on Mu Yeol!" She looked down trying to hide her embarrassed face.
'WHAT?!?' Mia's eyes opened wide on that. '…..Mu Yeol?'
She was as much confused as Jun was.
"Really?!!!" He asked.
"Yeah…I mean…I know I met him today only….But there is something about him that draws me towards him…He's calm, quiet and a nice hearted person…The way he takes care of all of you guys is really admirable…He's like an older brother to you all…So mature…"
"…." Jun was listening to her carefully.
"He is the reason I joined you two for the cooking in the afternoon….And when he was singing the song earlier….only I know how I kept my face as normal as possible when actually my heart was leaping out in excitement."
"But…" Jun spoke up after listening to everything she had to say, "But why are you telling me all this?"
"Well…You are his friend…And I was hoping….I was hoping that—"
"That I'd help you?" He raised an eye brow.
"Umm…Uhh….Maybe?"
And the next instant he smiled at her, "Of course I will!"
"R-Really?"
"Yes! Absolutely! You don't worry at all. I'll take care of it." He said as he made a fist in the air.
"Y-You look very excited about it…"
"Yes I am! Now let's go downstairs, others must be waiting for us."
"Umm…Okay." Seeing Jun's excitement about this whole thing April was kind of confused but at the same time she was happy too.
Both of them stepped out in a hurry and went downstairs.
Mia who had quickly hid in the boy's room came out as she heard them go.
'I'm really happy for April….' She was thinking.
"Or am I happy for something else?" She said to herself. "Well, whatever it is." And she also headed towards the stairs; a relieved smile resting on her face.

The next morning all of them went to the local beach.
Playing in the waves, enjoying different kinds of rides they spent their whole morning.
For almost each ride, Jun made sure that April was paired with Mu Yeol.
In the beginning So Hee was annoyed because of it but soon she just gave up on April and dragged Ray with her every single time.
And now Ray was annoyed because he wanted to enjoy at least some of the rides with Mia.
As they still hadn't told anyone about them, he couldn't say anything to So Hee.
But he was happy for one thing that Mia was also enjoying today.
Since morning she was happy, joking around and laughing and looking at her having fun, he was feeling happier.

They all had their lunch at the nearby restaurant and then after that it was relaxing time.
They all headed back to the beach and just enjoyed their time on the shore.
As Sun started heading towards the horizon they all decided to head back to their house.

After taking bath everyone was really exhausted. Some were lying on the couch and some were in their rooms.
Jun, April and Mu Yeol were sitting on the deck, enjoying the sunset.
"Today, it was really fun, isn't it?" April asked.
"Yeah…" Mu Yeol smiled at her, "I don't remember the last time I had this much fun!"
"April, you seemed pretty scared while parasailing…" Jun said.
"Yeah…" She got embarrassed. "Actually I'm scared of heights…But because of Mu Yeol, I felt better…"
"Oh really?" Jun asked with a hint of teasing tone.
"Yeah…He kept telling me that it's fine, it's fine, to open my eyes. And when I finally opened them, it was so beautiful up there. The blue wide ocean touching the vast open sky. It was just…really beautiful…." She still had that picture in her mind as she closed her eyes and imagined it.
Mu Yeol was looking at her, "It was beautiful…" He murmured to himself.

Mia was the last one to take bath.
When she came out from the bathroom and was getting ready, a text popped up on her phone.
It was Ray telling her to come upstairs on the outdoor patio.

She turned the knob and the door got opened to an outdoor space from which she could see the sun completely sunk into the ocean but still the skies were colored with dark orange, red and yellow shades.
She walked towards the railing and looked down, she could see April, Jun and Mu Yeol sitting at the deck.
Unknowingly, a smile appeared on her face.
Jun got up from his seat and said something to April and Mu Yeol.
Then laughing onto something, he turned back, started getting down the stairs which were going towards the beach.
'Why is he going towards the beach at this time?' Mia thought as she saw him walking over the small path leading towards the ocean.
"Finally!" Ray's voice from behind startled her and she looked back. There he was standing with a bottle of wine and two glasses in his hands.
"We got some time, just for us two!" With charming smile he walked towards her. Keeping the bottle on the table, he went closer to her.
Before she could do anything, he grabbed her by her waist and pulled her towards him.
"Oh you have no idea, how much I was dying to spend some quality time with my girlfriend!"
