31 He looks...different...

"MIAAAA..."

A loud familiar voice made Mia turn back. And there was standing Gyuri at the gate of the school.

"Gyuri!"

Gyuri ran towards her and hugged her.

"I missed you sooooo much!", Mia squeezed her.

"Me toooo…"

"How was the vacation? And the trip? And did you go to your Nana's house?

How was it?"

"Okay, okay. I will tell you everything."

And both the girls entered their school building.

"There is so much crowd at the notice board."

"Yeah, Let's go see, in which classes we are."

"I hope we will be in the same class.", Gyuri said clinging to Mia.

After searching for their names and allotted classes, they came out of the crowd.

"Huh…I thought I had stopped breathing.", Gyuri said catching her breath.

"Which class?", asked Mia.

"On the count of three….1…2…3!"

"Class 3- A" "Class 3- B"

Both the girls said at the same time.

"Huh?"

"We are in the different classes…", Gyuri pouted.

"Y..Yeah…", Mia also got sad.

"Why? Why god, why?", Gyuri yelled looking up in the sky begging. "Why are you doing this? You separated both of us. Why?"

"Stop it now…Miss Drama Queen…", Mia said jokingly to which both of the girls laughed.

"But I really wanted us to be in the same class…"

"It's okay Gyuri. We can meet at lunchtime. And we'll go home together also. So don't worry…"

"Yeah, But.."

As Gyuri was clinging to Mia's arm, she saw someone familiar walking towards them.

"Hey, Mia?"

"Yeah?"

"Is that Ray?"

Gyuri pointed out at a guy, who was coming towards them.

'Yeah…It's Ray….But he looks a bit different!', Mia thought to herself.

"Wow, he is looking skinnier than before, isn't he?", Gyuri whispered in Mia's ears.

"Yeah…."

"And he is so tanned….He looks so handsome now!"

Mia was looking at him with surprised expressions.

While he came closer to them, Mia raised her hand to greet him.

"Hi, Ray! Good Morning.", she said with her usual smile.

But he didn't even look at her.

'Didn't he hear me?' She thought.

"Good Morning Ray!", Gyuri said.

"Good Morning!", Ray said and without stopping he went towards the notice board.

Mia's face got frowned upon. 'Why didn't he greet me?'

"Wow, Mia. He does look handsome.

What do you think? Did he go on a vacation or something? On the beach?"

Gyuri was really excited to see this new, good looking, Ray.

The girls around them were also whispering.

"Was that Ray?"

"Impossible…."

"Wasn't he fat?…"

"He was just a bit chubby...But he looks so handsome now!!!"

The other girls were really excited and were talking about him continuously.

While he came out from the crowd, Gyuri went right in front of him.

"So? Which class?", she asked him.

"3-B", he said.

"Really? Me too!", Gyuri exclaimed happily.

"We are classmates again! That's awesome. I was really sad that Mia wasn't with me this year."

Mia came towards them, while Gyuri was talking.

'Maybe he didn't hear me last time…so…'

"How are you, Ray? How were the holidays?", Mia tried to talk to him casually.

Suddenly, some of the boys called his name.

"Hey, Ray.."

And one of them came towards Ray and wrapped his arm around his neck.

"What is this Ray? Huh? You look so different..Haha…"

"Hello, Guys…."

And Ray went with them ignoring Mia completely.

Mia's face was darkened. She was just standing there stunned, like a rock.

'He clearly heard me. I know he did.

But still, why didn't he answer me? He was avoiding me… But …Why?.....'

"Mia…Mia?", Gyuri waved her hand right in front of Mia's face.

"Huh?"

"The bell.."

"What?"

"The bell rang. Let's go to class."

"Um...Yeah…"
