100 Old Man Cheng's Past

Looking at the state of his brother. Sure Chen secretly sighed. He was glad, that even though she had live a thousand years and had witness the struggles of life. He was still the same kind-hearted Cheng Ki in the past.

People in this world have been greedy for power and treasure. And some of them are unfeeling. Even killing each others kin just to get what they want.

It was just another nice day. The 20 year old Cheng Ki stirred the soup gently while humming a tune. Even though his family is pour, he was happy.

The door open and a young woman entered the room with a smile on her face while looking at her father's back.

With a booming voice, she said. "Papa! I'm home!"

Cheng Ki turn around at his lovely 12 year old daughter. This daughter of his was beautiful and very talented. Except him, who is a good for nothing. Despite that, his daughter loves him big.

"Good, you're back. Sit down. This soup will about to finish." He was about to turn back to stirring the soup when he saw his daughter's face turn deathly pale and blood flowing through her nose.

"Li er!" Cheng Ki catch the small body of her daughter. It was the same as his wife. Their skin turning pale and blood flowed to their nose. It was a terrible disease that no one knows how to cure.

That's when Hong Li passed by in that dilapidated home. A sound of crying drew his attention. He saw a man crying in the open door while crying the child's name.

"Li er. Li er. Don't leave your father. You were fine earlier. Why? Don't take my daughter away from me!"

He watch this man crying until he stops. Hong Li don't know what the man's feeling right now. He doesn't have a child nor a wife. But watching him hugged his daughter tightly like that, he knows how must have painful it is to lose a love one.

With one look of the girl, Hong Li knows that she's already dead. He cannot feel any vitality towards the little girl. He felt pity for the father.

"Hahaha! Brothers! I brought someone! This is Cheng Ki! Our youngest brother from now on!" Hong Li's booming voice echo through the house as he patted Cheng Ki at the back.

Su Chen closely watch the man. His eyes clear and he had no other I'll intentions. Very good. He doesn't need snake entering his house.

"Don't be shy Cheng Ki! This is your home now! If you want to go to the library, then go! No ones gonna stop you. If you want money you can ask Su Chen. He's the richest in the four of us!"

Su Chen cough out the tea he's drinking.

'This man! Why can't he used his own money!'

An angry vein appeared at the side of Qi Qian's eyes. He hollered, "Who's ugly?! Of course, the one who's pointing his finger at me right now! HAHAHA!"

Cheng Ki did not speak. He only watch this men, the same age as him bicker at each other.

"I...I would like to go to the library." That was the first sentence that left his mouth. He promise his daughter that he will become an alchemist one day! Even though he was a good for nothing that cannot cultivate. He was still an intelligent man.

If he study alchemy, he will soon become an alchemist!

Years go by, Su Chen watch Cheng Ki emerse his self on learning alchemy.

And another years go by, he started training.

Years of years flash by, all of his attempts on failed. Because of failure, he tried to rest alchemy for awhile. And that when news about Hong Li came in.

Provoking different kinds of powers and running away. He suddenly disappeared leaving only a message that she contracted an illness.

Because that Cheng Ki spends all of his time practicing alchemy while they keep finding him.

Another years go by, Hong Li appeared on their doorsteps again. Leaving words that she went to another world. And she felt different yet still the same.

Rumors that he keeps killing people broke out. His enemies haunted him and he disappeared again.

Cheng Ki had gone crazy searching for him after knowing his disease.

When a war broke out between the dragon and the phoenix, Qi Qian betrayed them.

It was devastating. But the most devastated was Cheng Ki and he almost killed Qi Qian.

After the war, Cheng Ki finally become a true alchemist.

However, his temper become intolerable. He becomes grumpy.

He faces scorn because of that.
