6 First phone calls

That night at home, Sarah was very tired that when she got out of the bathroom she immediately lay on the bed. Just as she about was to close her eyes, her phone was ringing and it was from an unknown number. She didn't think much since she always gotten some unknown caller from other company so she picked up the call.

"Hello Sarah, good evening. I'm Lucas. Do you still remember me? I'm sorry if I'm bothering you late at night. It just that I want to ask you some questions." Sarah's sleepiness died in an instant and she immediately sat up straight. "Lucas! Of course I remember you. You're the only person who asked me for marriage only after meeting once. Well, I don't mind. Go ahead and ask me." Lucas laughed and he said "Well it is regarding about that marriage. You're not going to back off will you? You already accepted the offer. You said that in the future event, you will dress up differently from your working outfit and if I recognise you in an instant then we'll get marry. You had already agreed so you cannot take it back. Is that clear?" Lucas was nervous as he said all that because he was worried if she might think it was a joke. Sarah was laughing and she was confident that the man would not recognise her if she were to dress up as the real her. This was because her brother and her closest friend, Megan at first was shocked at her differences. They were shocked at how her office outfit could make her became an entirely different person. So she was very confident and said "I am not a person who will break promises so don't you worry. But I can only give you one chances. Do you agree?" Lucas was grinning because he knew that he would recognise her even though she was covering her face since she is the person he likes and also she have an attractive aura that only he could sense. "Okay."

As she was about to hang up the phone she suddenly realised she haven't asked the question that keeps playing through her mind "Why do you want to marry me even though you don't know me? You can see that I don't care about marriage so that's why I accepted your deal. But why do you want to marry me?" She bitted her lips as she was waiting for his answer because she was nervous about his answer.

Lucas smiled. "Isn't that obvious? I like you. Why shouldn't I marry you?" Sarah was not expecting this answer so she did not say anything but then she heard him chuckled. "Good night honey. Sweet dreams" Sarah was blushing and her face was heating. "Don't call me that!"

Lucas chuckled again and said "Okay baby. I promise I would not make anything that would make you angry. Good night baby." Sarah was blushing again and she immediately ended the call. Now she is really not sleepy. She tried to close her eyes but his voice keep repeating in her mind.
