7 The Intro of the Photo Album

"What was that for?! I was the one at fault why he wasn't able to go back! You didn't need to hurt him." Eunica stormed to the Office of Force.

That is where all soldiers and other security officers stay.

"Please be silent, E.A."

The soldiers were begging her to stop shouting and screaming in their office.

"Shh, you'll wake him up."

They have been trying to cover her mouth, but she'll bite them and kick their nuts.

There are already four soldiers crying about their future generation.

"I need you to stop hurting him!"

She pointed at each of the soldiers and security.

"You! Stop watching him!" She pointed at the CCTV guy.

"You stop hitting him!" She said to the soldier that she saw punch him before.

"Everyone! Stop hurting my precious!" She shouted at the top of her lungs.

Her voice echoed in the hallway.

Her veins almost popping out from her neck.

"OKAY! WE GET IT! SHUT UP, FEMALE!" Someone from her left side shouted.

"Aw, thank y--" She saw a very large person.

He was double her height and four times larger than her.

"you." She finished.

His frightening aura and face suddenly changed to sweet and caring.

"Aw, you like him, right? right?" He suddenly poked her left arm.

It felt like someone punched her but her blushed stopped him.

"See! See! She does!" He looked around waiting for approval from everyone.

"RIGHT?" He suddenly turned frightening again.

Everyone got scared for their life and for their job so they agreed with yes' and yeahs.

"Okay, can I talk to you, Eunica?" He said.

"Aw, you know me. That's new." She smiled following him inside the room where he came from.

It was so dark when she entered until he turned the light on.

Showing a wall full of pictures of young hybrids starting from base 1 until to her base.

"Wow." She looked at each photo until she saw Jin's photo.

She smiled, he looked so carefree and happy.

"How old was he here?" She pointed at his photo.

"Hmm, you don't really remember huh?" He took a sip of his juice then sits down.

Now that she can see his face, he really had very slanted and small eyes.

"Well, what can I do? Nothing!" He laughs.

He looks like he was talking to himself, then he looked at her with a smile.

"I am Sup Yong Park. I have a weird name, but it's better to be called E.A., haha, just joking they call me S.Y.P or syp as in hype." He rests his chin on his hand while looking at her who are also looking at him with a straight face.

"Oh, how old. Yeah, he's three that time." Syp said.

She looked at Jin's photo again.

'His smile. I must protect that smile.' she thought.

"Who are these? There are four girl hybrids? My gosh! And that guy, he's the snake guy jin's talking about." She pointed the group photo of the hybrids in their base.

"Yeah, the puppies are Melanie and Rocel. The Rabbit one is Camil. The other one, she's Jermyn, a wolf. And yes, Jhon, the snake. He's the boss even if he's the only vertebrate."

He pointed while telling their names.

"John has been the leader since they were kids. He's confident and strong. Melanie and Rocel always fought about their food. Camil was so fond of reading. Jermyn, that wolf, loves to write stories. And, what did you call him?"

"Jin?"

"Yeah, his name before was uh, Cassiel or Cael." He laughs.

"Angel.. Cassiel. What a marvelous pair." He whispered.

He suddenly chuckled while remembering their memories.

'Cael, it's an angel.' she thought then blushed, 'yeah, what a marvelous pair we are.'

"Why did they changed it to numbers?" She asks, still looking at the photo.

"Because they don't want to be like the old handlers, they want to be ruthless." He answered angrily.

"Then why did Jin accepted the name I gave if he already one, also he denied that he doesn't have a name before."

"Because, he doesn't want to be Cael anymore? I don't know. He has his own mind."

Eunica looked at him. She feels comfortable with him. He looks at the photos but his eyes were somewhere else.

He felt her gaze so he took a step back then smiled at her, remembering that he haven't introduced himself to her again.

"I am the head of this office. Remember that guy who's bossing you around, he's only the secretary. I don't want to see those children be beaten up so I send someone foolish enough to do that." Syp stands up.

He can almost reach the ceiling with his height.

He reached for a photo album.

"I was here since the first day of this organization. I watched it grow and to die and rise from the dead." His mysterious words made Eunica curious.

He sat down then called her to seat in front of his desk.

"You see, this photo album is like.. uh, the history book of this organization." He said.

"This holds every year and everyone that had worked and was created in this organization. Before, this was built for the safety of everyone including the hybrids. They lived happily and comfortably until they pushed him down the pit. They used the most important person to him as blackmail. He backs down. The organization went to hell and became one after rising again." He was about to open the photo album when a soldier went in.

He looked at him like his eyes are gun ready to shot.

"Um. s-sir th-they're coming," then he shut the door fast.

"What? Eunica. Run. Run to your room and pretend we never met." He pushed her outside the office. He peeked at the CCTV and saw the secretary and the Vice President walking to their office. They were just three hallway away. They still have a blind spot for Eunica to run and hide.

"Run. I'll take care of him. I'll make sure to protect him. Go!" He closed the door.

Eunica suddenly felt the hype to run to her room.

"What's happening?" She whispers.

Her hearts pounding, her head ached.

'This feels similar,' she thought.

"Run! Hide!" A voice said.

Someone from her memory popped up.

"What?"

She kept on running until she reached her room and went immediately inside and closed the door.

"He saved me before." She whispers before blocking out.
