22 PLAN A

As darkness consumes Eunica all that she thought about was Jin.

She felt someone carrying her.

It's the arms of Hyung.

She can hear them calling her name,

But she can't feel anything.

She's too tired to even breathe.

Suddenly she was passed to someone and heard Dr. Arlene's voice.

But she's just tired.

She's numb.

But, Jin...

'I'm fine,' she thought.

She felt other forms of abuse before when she was working outside.

She wanted to die before.

But from what happened to her,

She feared death.

She never felt that kind of pain before.

She was caught in between wanting to die and wanting to kill the person who did that to her.

While she was contemplating life and death,

A piercing pain suddenly barged in.

It's a needle, but it was not the cause of pain.

It's something that is being injected to her body.

'Jin!' she wants to call out but her body can't move.

Her mouth moved on it's on and lets out a scream while her body uncontrollably shakes.

'I can't believe that uncle will go this far just because of this organization,'

she can still feel her body screaming and shaking.

'I just want to get everything back to normal,' she thought and tears stream down her face as her scream subside and her shaking stops.

She suddenly felt sleepy and slowly she dozes off.

After three days, she just woke up from the nightmare of what happened to her while saying, 'help' and calling Jin's name.

Slowly she opened her eyes, 'I'm alive?' she thought.

'I'm alive!' From the shock and happiness, she cried.

'I went through hell but I'm alive!' she thought.

But after remembering the man's face she asked Jin for help again unconsciously as Dr. Arlene neared her.

"Eunica, we're here, don't worry, darling.." Dr. Arlene says.

The silhouette standing at the door caught her eyes, "Jin.." she called him.

But Jin turns his back.

Her visions still blurred but she knows it's Jin.

So she slowly raises her upper body and shouted, "JIN!"

He stops and Dr. Arlene pats her back softly, "You're fine, Jin's fine..."

"Sorry," she heard Jin said.

She felt relieved to hear his voice even though her hearing's faint due to what happened to her head.

Eunica just smiles.

'He's here,' she thought.

'I'm going to be fine.'

Slowly her eyes wanted to chase sleep.

And she drifted to the past and remembered their childhood memory.

"After two days, he will be here, the others may arrive as well, but how will we handle this? His wife's here, there are soldiers who are on his side," Jhon said.

They are all gathered at the Office of Force with Hyung while Dr. Arlene stayed with Eunica.

"Don't worry about them. I took care of them earlier," Hyung answered.

"Jin, you remember Eunica's father, right?" Hyung was looking through the photo albums of the staffs of the organization.

"Yeah," he plainly answers.

His mind is still on Eunica.

He wants revenge right now but he can't take it.

"Take care of him," Hyung knows that he is the one who needs to face the President.

He can't let Jin do it.

He's like a son to him.

Eunica needs him.

"What? I wasn't able to protect Eunica and now her father?"

Jin lost his self-confidence with what happened.

He can't bear to see someone precious be hurt again because he can't do his job.

"Yes. Jhon and twins, just continue doing what you're doing. We'll let you know when we'll go," hyung closes the album and stands up.

"I need to talk to someone," he went out of the room and left Jin with the others.

They felt Jin's anger and bitterness.

He's just looking down and shaking his leg, showing his anxiety.

He used to do that the first time they met him.

It was 12 years ago, they were only four years old and Jin's eight.

He wasn't talking to anyone and he's distant.

He's always alone and gloomy.

When they try to play with him, he will either turn into his animal form or start punching everyone even Hyung.

It took years for him to finally be comfortable with them.

"Hey, Jin," Jhon called him, but he didn't respond, "If Eunica saw you like that, she'll be sad. I know she won't blame you for what happened to her."

The twins nodded, "Yeah, big sis won't blame you. She knows that it's no one's fault."

But he still didn't react, "We'll go now, we're just around if you need us."

They left him sitting alone.

He didn't even move.

He's angry that he can't do anything right now.

He will just watch Eunica be in a miserable state.

His fear and anger on himself grew stronger as he remembers when he hurt Eunica while he's supposed to protect her.

His animal form can't be fully controlled since he was just a kid.

He scratched Eunica's back while pushing her away.

The blood on his hands.

Eunica's eyes staring at him with pain and fear.

If Hyung didn't take Eunica, he might've lost control even more and kill everyone in front of her.

"Stop that, your mom wants to talk to you," Hyung was standing at the door.

"What? What does she need this time?" Jin irritably asks while standing.

"She'll help us."

That stopped Jin from walking towards the door.

"What? No! She's lying! She'll use us and lure us to the President, she'll betray us!"

"Is that how you see your mother?"

The secretary suddenly entered the office.

She had the saddest expression from what she heard from her son.

"I want to help you because this is my mistake," Mrs. Luinn added.

"Come on, Hyung! You don't believe this woman, do you? She didn't even care about Eunica's condition!" Jin kicks the seats, scaring his mother and jolting Hyung.

"SHE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ME OR EUNICA OR THIS ORGANIZATION! SHE BETRAYED US ONCE, SHE'LL BETRAY US AGAIN!"

His voice echoed along the hallway, it can even be heard in the clinic.

The secretary just stands frozen while looking at the floor.

She rubs her hand using her thumb.

She's comforting her self from the pain she's feeling.

"Jin, don't shout at your mother," Hyung just stands at the door, looking at Jin who's looking at his mother sharply.

"She's not my mother!" Jin coldly answers.

"Just hear this out, Secretary, tell him," Hyung eyed Jin, telling him to stop talking.

"I plan on letting you and Eunica outside to gather the other hybrids and old friends of the Eunica's father in the organization. We thought we can let them here to conduct a meeting but seems like the Vice President was already consumed by the Presiden't demonic thoughts," The secretary heard the conversation of the President and the vice president earlier, they were talking about killing Eunica and her father.

"So we'll go out?" Jin asks surprised.

He never went outside.

And now's a chance.

"Yes, that's our plan A," Hyung answers, "Plan B's when you guys are already outside."
