27 Mr. Potter

"Jin, what's the problem?" Eunica asks.

She noticed that Jin's been alert since they stopped by the park.

His restlessness bothers Eunica.

"Nothing."

Eunica just looks at Jin, she didn't speak because Jin isn't paying attention to her.

He's too focused on his surroundings.

"This is it," Jin said as he looks at the map and the hotel.

This is where Hyung reserved a room for them to stay for the night.

They've been walking the whole day.

Eunica is tired but she's still concerned about Jin.

'Is it because he's not used to a lot of people?' She thought but suddenly as they enter the room, her knees lost its strength and everything is painful.

"Argh!" She winced, she clings to the wall.

"Angel," Jin was walking in front of her but he ran back to Eunica.

"It's the medicine, it's wearing off. Come on, I'll give another," Jin helps to get her up and let her sit on the bed.

"Jin, if there's a problem, you should tell me too. I'm with you," Eunica frowns while taking the medicine.

Jin sighs and smiles, "Yeah, I just have this feeling like we're being followed."

Eunica suddenly thought that she felt the same way but she didn't take it seriously.

Both of them left to check the nearby green dot, "If you noticed something, tell me immediately," Jin said as he puts on a jacket.

It's getting cold while the sun slowly sets.

"Yeah," Eunica smiled.

They walked for 10 minutes to get in the bar, the owner should be the friend of Hyung before when they're still working together.

"I'll go in first," Jin stands in front of Eunica defensively.

Jin knows this kind of place since Hyung tells him things about the world sometimes.

He can't let Eunica enter such dirty place.

But little did he know, she used to work in a bar.

Eunica just smiles awkwardly.

Jin enters and of course, she saw all men drowing in alcohol, some girls are doing inappropriate dances, men doing women and all things that Jin find disgusting.

He can't take the smell of the place and he went out.

"Tch, it's so dirty," Jin whispers.

Eunica heard it and she felt ashamed.

"Not everyone in that place is dirty, you know," Eunica said in a faint voice.

"How can you say so? You didn't went in," Jin looks at the lists of names indicated in each dot. They are supposed to look for Mr. Iaz Potters.

Eunica sadly looks down, "I've been in this type of place," she said shamely.

Jin just looks at her.

"I'll go in, Iaz Potters, right?" Eunica was about to enter when Jin held her hand.

"What happened?" Jin asks.

He noticed that Eunica felt ashamed and scared at the same time when she said she's been in this kind of place.

"Nothing, it's just work," Eunica answered while pulling her hand.

"What type of work?" Jin unconciously asks.

Eunica stared at him, "What do you think? The dancers? The strippers? The entertainers? I was only a waitress, okay?"

She feels shameful because she's been working in places where women are usually seen and acts inappropriately.

She admitted it in front of the guy she likes and wonders what he thinks of her now.

Jin felt guilty for asking such question.

But he felt more angry because Eunica has to work in a bar.

He knows how people treat women in a bar.

"I'll go with you, let's look for Iaz," Jin said as he enters the bar again.

Eunica follows him.

She's surprised that Jin didn't insulted her.

The smell almost made her puke.

Jin covered his nose as they go around.

He noticed that men looks at Eunica hungrily.

"Hey, hold my hand," Jin said as he took Eunica's hand and held her close.

She blushed a little.

She used to hate Jin protecting her, but now, she feels safe.

"We're looking for Iaz Potters," Jin said to the bartender who's very muscular and gigantic.

"Who are you?" The bartender asks in a very deep loud voice.

Everyone went quiet and they looked at Jin.

'We're in trouble,' Eunica and Jin thought.

"Why do you wish to see Iaz?" The bartender asks, he looks at Eunica closely.

All men in the bar stands up and are ready to attack them but suddenly Eunica said her name, "I am Eunica Angel Raye, daughter of Angelo Kiale Raye, I wish to see his good soldier, Iaz Potters," she exclaimed.

She just remember who Iaz is, he used to guard her when she was still young, even though he's a soldier in the company, he acted more like a personal soldier of her father.

Everyone then returned to normal, it's as if nothing happened.

"These smell, they are pure hybrids," Jin whispered.

Aside my the stinky smell of sweat, alcohol and others, there's a faint smell of hybrids.

"Really?" Eunica noticed it before Jin but she has to act as if she doesn't know.

The Bartender went inside a room and he went out after a few seconds.

He continued on his work while a muscular middle aged man, sam as Hyung, went out.

His hair is all white as well as his short beard with thin, neatly trimmed sides.

"He looks old," Jin whispers.

"Yeah, maybe it's because of his hair," Eunica replied.

"Are you talking about my hair?" Iaz said angrily.

"Yes," Eunica answered, "How are you?"

As Iaz stare at Eunica, his face went from scared to surprised.

"Are you... You're alive?" He asks.

Eunica want to say 'yes' and hug him but she has to act that she doesn't know him.

"Yes, as you can see, she's breathing," Jin answered and sat on the stool.

"Cassiel!" Iaz said when after he stare at jin for a while.

Eunica looks at Jin, "Cassiel?" She has to act dumb of the situation.

"Yeah, they called me Cassiel before."

"What brings you here?" Iaz asks.

Eunica and Jin explained about the current situation of the organization, "And we have to stop them, from what Hyung knows, he also has a plan against the government," Jin said.

"Hm," Iaz puts his hand on his chin, "You know this is impossible, Cassiel."

"Yes, but if we bring back Mr. Raye, we can take the organization back. Dr. Arlene has all the records of the situations of the hybrids ever since Luinn took over. We can use that against Luinn, then, we'll expose their plan against the government."

"I am not sure, let me think. You plan on getting all the powerful people from the past organization together but we are fighting against hybrids here, you know you guys are more powerful than humans, right?"

"Yes, but we have the most powerful hybrid, Jin," Eunica looks at Jin with a smile.

Jin felt flattered and smiled at her.

"Jin? Is that your new name? Are you two dating already?" Iaz asks.

Eunica blushed and shakes her head while Jin just awkwardly smiles wishing they are.

"Oh, but you know, Jin, that they might have created something even more powerful than you, right?" Iaz prepares grape juice for them.

"Yes, we have taken that into thought, but from the current situation of the organization, they are still in not that good in creating hybrids. Our scientist were the greatest of all, theirs are just some kind of mad curious people," Jin answers while drinking the grape juice.

"These guys... they're hybrids, right?" Eunica asks while looking around.

"Yes, since I got out of the organization, I got curious about real hybrids, and there, I found my bartender, Jan, a gorilla hybrid. I built my bar and I asked him to help me then hybrids started to come here until it became a place where hybrids have fun," Iaz smiled at Jan.

"I see... It's getting late, Angel, we should go back," Jin stands up and helped Eunica get down the bar chair.

"We'll go back tomorrow, please think about it," Jin said as they leave.

"You grew up fast just to protect her, Cassiel, but... are you not aware of what Raye did?" Iaz whispers while looking at the kid who Jin and Eunica met earlier.

"She's your cousin, right?" Iaz asks.

"Yeah, my Dad's sister is her mom probably. She does looks like my Dad a bit. Her black hair and golden brown eyes are exactly the same," the kid stands up while the four men suddenly appeared in the dark.

"Just don't hurt them, they are friends," Iaz said before entering his room.

"We'll play with them for a little," The kid's golden eyes shines while his smile appeared.
