6 In Her Room Where It Happened 2

"I see."

It was again dry, she suddenly felt her eyes getting wet. As if it was going to drown with pain.

'I'm stupid. I'm here for work. I'm here to do what I have to. I'm not here to have any feeling for this hybrid.' she thought while burying her face in the pillow, trying to wipe her tears and hide that she's jealous.

"How about you?"

Jin then looked at her, he already calmed himself after remembering their past. She's hiding her face so he tried to pull her face but it was too strong for that soft pull, so he tried to pull it harder and there he saw the tears and pain of her eyes.

He got shocked so he lets go of her,

"I was just sad about your story." She excused,

"I had never loved someone unlike you." She buries her face once again.

"So, I, uh, am sad for you."

Jin felt so happy and sad at the same time. Happy that she did feel bad for him but sad because she doesn't know that it was her who he was talking about.

"Don't be. Well, let's change the topic. Tomorrow, we'll be like before. Hybrid-human."

He pats her head, she suddenly feels electrocuted and that made her feel warm and happy.

"So, since you said that I don't know anything about the world, tell me the things that you love about it."

Jin smiles at her, but pain suddenly hit his heart when he remembered that this may be the last day that they will see each other normally.

After the interrogation, she will go back to her base and he will either be used for military purposes or terminated. Hybrids only have 20 years life expectancy, because they will either die from wars and battle or be terminated.

She rests her cheeks on her knees while looking at Jin. She remembered how her family treated each other, how they treated her, how the bar treated her, how the world treated her. They all hurt her. They wounded her young heart. Coming to the SINS was not that bad but having to face a different side of the world, it hurt her again because she can't do anything to help the hybrids but what she loved about the world is...

"But when I met you, everything seems alright. I felt like my broken pieces were made like a puzzle to help me find you. You made me whole."

Now, she didn't feel embarrassed. It felt like something that she needs to say to Jin. It didn't make her heart go crazy. It didn't make her heartache. All she feels is a comfort, safety, happiness, and.. in the first time... she felt what home feels like.

Jin just looked at her with all his love. While hearing every word, it's as if every pain he felt was worth it.

'She's always worth it.' He thought.

The years that he waited just to see her, the tears he shed, the blood that he lost, the scars that he had, and waiting for her to heal every wound he has, there was no other joy that can make him feel alive.

They smiled at each other, no awkwardness, no embarrassment, they are just happy.

After more Q&A, Eunica got tired because she was the only one answering so she decided to clean his wound after he took a bath.

Then she let him choose on the clothes that she intends to give him,

"I'll give you the others, just choose one to wear for now." She said.

He chooses the white Gucci sweatshirt,

"You know, you really need to wear thick clothes because I think they plan to kill you with the cold temperature. Also to cover your scars and wounds,"

She said while folding the other clothes,

"Why? Do you think my scars are disgusting so I need to hide it?"

Inside he was feeling anxious about how Eunica thinks of him. Especially his appearance. The first thing she did was to cut his hair, so he knows that she did not like how he looks.

"Ha? No! I mean, I want to be the only one who can see those beautiful work of art scars. It makes you, you!"

He was putting on the sweatshirt while she was saying that so he had the thing to hide his blush.

'Oh Mama Mia, he has the perfect body to build abs. But I'm not really into that, but damn. He's getting fatter I think he already has muscles.' she thought while drooling over his body.

"How do I look?" He said after he put it on, he fixes his hair and smiled.

"Hot.. I mean you will feel hot after but it won't be that hot. It will be warm, yeah."

She blushed while sniffing the clothes. Suddenly she remembered about the perfume. She took the used bottle and sprayed it on him.

"You can keep the new one. I still have another, and I think you're not in a cage since you have a decent look earlier."

He looked at the bottle while sniffing the air with her scent.

"Yeah, I have a room. Hybrids have a room here. Since they really can control us, we can behave in a room. They just transfer us in a cage if ever the soldiers get scared."

"Oh, so you act like you were in a cage so they won't feel scared? That doesn't make sense! You did looked miserable before."

"It's because they want me to be miserable."

"What do you mean by they can control you? You don't have any collar or anything of sort."

They sat down on her bed while she takes out the other bottle.

"Uh, they planted a chip in our hearts. So when we act against their will, they can inflict us with pain or anything that will make us obey."

Eunica looked at his chest while giving him the perfume.

"Oh."

She doesn't know how to react about that. Jin took the bottle and put it in the sweatshirt's pockets.

"Don't worry they won't us--- ARRRRRGHHH! AHHHH!"

Jin suddenly held hin chest while screaming then a group of soldiers went inside her room,

"Jin! Jin, what's happening?"

She touches him but it feels like his every scream pierce her heart, her tears were streaming down her face. Her hands are shaking.

"No! Stop!"

It just continues while the soldiers were grabbing him in a cage.

"Wait! What are you doing? Stop that! He's in pain! Please. PLEASE!"

After her scream he also stopped screaming, he's breathing heavily and he's face is totally in agony. They put him inside the cage and he was laying on the cold steel. She rushed to him suddenly kneeling down to held his hand.

"You're going to be alright." She whispers, repeating it like a lullaby to him until he fell asleep.

"He didn't return earlier. He was supposed to come back at noon."

The soldier said, her tears filled eyes stared at him. And if looks can kill he must've been in pieces.

"I was the one who told him to stay with me." She stands up shouting to the soldier.

"Stop it, whatever he did, it was his choice."

Rin suddenly appeared. He signaled the other soldiers to go.

"Rin, it's my fault. I told him to stay." She looked at him, crying

"Don't worry. He's gonna be fine." He said, patting her shoulder before he left.

Now all she has is a messy room, messy face, and messy feelings.
