28 I have captured my cousin
"Hey, Jin, you think Mr. Potter will join us? Hyung didn't tell us to force them," Eunica said while staring at the violet tainted sky. The breeze felt cold and the people are already on their way home.
"Yeah, I know. But I think he'll help us," Jin answered as he stares at the light post that flickers.
"What he said earlier about the strongest hybrid they might've created, do you think there is such thing?"
"I don't know. Even though we are in the main base, since they have another new one here in the city, we can't say that they haven't created one," Jin sighs while thinking that they might have created already.
"But, you know, you're really strong!" Eunica smiled at him enthusiastically.
"I'm just big."
"Big and strong!"
They both laugh.
Eunica wishes that they can stay like this forever.
Jin wishes Eunica will always smile like this.
Both are too happy to feel that they are being followed by the kid.
"You go wash up first, Jin. I still have to take my.. uh, things," Eunica said to Jin who's standing beside the wall in her bedroom while looking through her bag.
They are already in their room.
It's a connecting room which only has a wall between the bedrooms. The living room is joined in between them as well as the shower and comfort room.
"Okay," Jin left and went to take a shower.
Eunica has been feeling uneasy because ever since she woke up, she's been sweating a lot due to the medication she's taking.
Her pain is turning to sweats.
"Where's my powder? Where's my moisturizer? Where are you!!" She said while turning her bag upside down.
She just realizes that she put them on the medical bag to avoid being spilled.
She hurriedly put her things back in the bag and takes out the things she needs.
"My, aren't you too pampered, cousin?" A voice said.
She turned around but no one is there.
"Who is it?" She asks.
"It's me, cousin!" She turned to her bed and saw the same kid they helped earlier laying on her bed while his legs are crossed.
"Hey! You're dirty! Get out of there!" Eunica shouted.
She hates when people stay on the bed even though their clothes are not clean and they haven't taken a bath, except for herself and Jin.
"What? Are you not going to ask me how I got here?" The Kid jumps out of the bed.
"Okay, how?" Eunica puts her hands on her hips.
She's too tired to deal with a kid who might've climbed up and gone in through the window.
"With their help," The kid pointed at her back and when she turned she was hit on her neck and fainted.
Jin just got out of the comfort room wearing his pajama and drying his hair with the towel when he heard a voice, "Angel!" he shouted and ran to her bedroom but the moment he steps on her room, he got hit on his neck, "Sh*t," he dodges back but he was already hit.
His vision gets blurry and he saw Eunica being carried by a man and saw the kid walking towards him.
His knees lost its strength and he fell down.
"I'll know who and what you are later," The kid said then he hits Jin's neck once more.
"You're strong," Jin heard the kid say before blocking out.
"Let's take them," The kid opened the room.
"Ma'am, we'll return them later tonight, just keep this lock and their keys," The kid said to an old woman who owns the hotel.
She is also a hybrid in secrecy and is under the right hand of the leader of the tribe, the Kid's father and Eunica's Uncle.
"Yes, Luke, don't worry," she smiled and took the keys before they disappear.
The moon shines bright half as the sun lighting the whole city with white light.
They went deep into the woods and tied Eunica and Jin on a tree.
"Hey! Wake up!" The Kid said to Jin while tapping his cheeks.
Jin groans from the neck pain and opens his eyes, "Angel!" he screamed.
"She's beside you," Luke pointed at Eunica.
Jin glared at him, "Who are you? Are you Luinn's hybrids?" he asks.
Luke raised his eyebrows and tilted his head, "Luinn? I am my father's hybrids! I do not know who Luinn is..." suddenly a thought struck into Luke's mind, "Ah, yes, I remember, my father's name is Luinn."
Jin breathes heavily with what the kid said, his heart beats fast to his anger, his eyes grew sharp ready to cut the kids neck.
Luke suddenly grew scared but he likes how Jin reacts, " I wonder what you are? A dog? A... fish? A... maybe, a bird?"
Jin just tries to calm himself, if he ever transforms, it will be hard to turn back to normal, he can't do it without the injection and he can't protect Eunica.
"Oh, you're calming down. Let me help you turn into a hybrid," Luke stands up and took the blade from his men.
He pointed it at Eunica with a devilish smile, "I'll kill her if you won't transform," he said.
Jin still tried to keep calm, Eunica will die if he'll transform.
"Still no? By the way, what's your connection with Luinn?" Luke asks.
"You should know, you're here because he told you to follow us, didn't he?" Jin stares at the blade. 'If Angel gets hurt, I promise I will bite your head off,' he thought.
"Hmm, why do you hate Luinn?" Luke asks.
"He destroyed our life, he killed the hybrids he created, he wants to destroy the country, he took my mother and almost killed Angel, didn't you know? He's just using you for his own good. He does not care about you!" Jin shouted wishing Eunica will wake up.
"She won't wake up, we made her sniff a poison that will make you sleep for half a day," Luke stands up.
He already knows who Jin is talking about, who Luinn is, he knows they are really friends.
Luinn, or called Judge, kidnaps hybrids and use them for experiments.
If ever the hybrids he took come back, he will end up killing himself after a few days.
"Okay, I'm done, let's take them home," Luke said and stands up, a man approached Jin, "Stop!" Jin shouted but he still and hit his neck.
"Father, I have captured my cousin," Luke said while kneeling down in front of his father.
"What a good job, little boy, come here let me pat you," his older brother said.
He happily hops to him and his brother pats his head.
Their father gestured the others to put down Eunica and Jin.
"The girl, she's the one you're telling me?" The leader said.
"Yes, father," the kid said while facing his father.
"Oh, you have a cousin?" The older brother said.
"She's also your cousin."
"Oh, no. I am adopted, that means she's not my blood."
Luke stared at him angrily.
Even though he's the first child, he can't accept the fact that he is adopted.
"Let me see, bring her to me," The leader said.
A man carried Eunica and put her in his lap.
He placed his forehead on hers and closed his eyes.
His tears suddenly stream down while digging Eunica's past starting from she was created.
He heard his sister's voice while Eunica is still on her womb and when she was born, he saw his sister's face while kissing Eunica before she died.
"No," his tears stream down while his eyes are still close.
He cries for his sister's death.
Eunica moves to make him stop and he opened his eyes.
He stares at Eunica for a while before kissing her forehead, he saw what she's been through and it breaks his heart.
"He's Jin, I see. Bring him to me," he orders while he slowly puts Eunica on a seat.
Since they are living in the woods, everything on their camp is made from woods.
A man carried Jin and puts him on the leaders' lap.
But the moment he was about to put his forehead on Jin's he woke up and punched the old man.
He jumps out of his lap and went to Eunica.
"Angel, wake up!" He shouted while shaking her.
"No, don't," The leader said.
Jin turned around, there were a tiger, a big anaconda and an alligator behind him ready to bite his head off.
If the man didn't tell them to stop, he might be broken into pieces already.
The three hybrids turn back to their human form and make way for their leader.
The old man wipes his tears while looking at Eunica.
"My sweet niece, I am so thankful for thanking good care of her, Jin."
Jin looks at him, "What do you mean niece?"
"Her mother, I know you know Lara, she's my one and only little sister," the old man said while looking at the family photo hanged in front of them.
Jin looks at it and saw someone who looks like Eunica.
"She fell in love with a human man. She chased him and never came back. It's been 21 years."
