16 Arrival

"Why are you here?" The president asks while he glares at Eunica who froze on her feet.

"WHAT ARE YOU DOING HERE?" He shouts, making the babies cry in fear.

Everyone in the room got shocked with how the President talks to Eunica since most of the soldiers are new, they don't know what happened before.

Eunica does not know what to do, she justs hold the door, she did not expect to see the President today or that he's in the nursery.

Suddenly, Dr. Arlene appeared with Rin.

Rin held Eunica's hand and pulls her out of the room but the President suddenly orders him to stop.

He was about to say no and pull Eunica away but Dr. Arlene signals him to stops which he did.

"Mr. President, it is not good for the babies to hear such loud voice," Dr. Arlene looked at Aine before looking at the President with disgust.

"What did you just tell me? Are you ordering me, Dr?" The President stared at Dr. Arlene like he was about to kill her.

The babies won't stop crying which annoyed the President making him go out while pulling Eunica's hand and drags her outside then pushed her hard, making her fall down.

Rin's eyes bug out with what the President did and he was about to punch the President who's standing in front of him when Jin appeared, he ran to Eunica and glared at the president.

"Oh, look who's here. You're still alive?" The President says, but his words were for both Eunica and Jin.

He grinned like a maniac before laughing.

"My, my, my, here's my favorite animals."

Dr. Arlene went out of the room while calling Syp.

"That is not how a president pays his hybrids a visit, stop," Jin said while helping Eunica stand up.

He noticed that Eunica's elbow bleeds, making him angrier.

He grinds his teeth and his look was signaling that he's about to transform again but his mother suddenly appeared.

"Mr. President, how many times did I tell you, not to touch any of them?" she said while putting her hand on her husband's shoulder.

Rin just stands behind the President, like a predator ready to attack his prey if he will do something he does not like.

Dr. Arlene was whispering while talking to Syp to go there.

"I am sorry, Eunica. You can go back to your room. Jin, help her," Mrs. Luinn says while holding back her husband.

Eunica stared at the President and grinned, 'I'm taking what's ours back,' she thought.

Seems like the President heard her and was about to run to them when Rin stops him while holding his right shoulder, "No fighting along the hallway," he said then pointed at the signs which was intended for hybrids.

The president just pulled his shoulder away from his wife and Rin then walked back to his office while ordering his personal hybrids to watch over Jin and Eunica, "Especially that girl," he said before entering his office.

"What were you doing there?" Jin asks while cleaning Eunica's wound on her elbow.

"I thought of paying the babies a visit since when you woke up I haven't seen them, but when I opened the door there he was," she said while wincing from the pain.

"You should've told me, you know that he's going here but you wander alone, what if he did worst things to you while I am not around?" Jin throws the things he used and was about to put the bandage when Eunica pulls her hand away from Jin's hand.

"What? Do you think I can't protect myself? You think I need you to protect me? I am not weak, Jin," she said while furrowing her eyebrows.

"No, that's not what I mean," Jin frowns with how Eunica looks at him.

"No, you know what, go to your room, I don't need you," Eunica stands up while holding the door open.

"Angel," he whispers.

"Go."

Eunica did not look at him, she has no expression.

She just points at the door and with her eyes like that, Jin felt sad.

But he just followed Eunica, he stands up and left the room.

"Don't talk to me for awhile. Don't worry, I will not go out for you to have a peace of mind that I will be alright," she said before closing the door.

Jin was about to say something but the door closed right in front of his face.

Eunica, who's sitting down on the floor while her back's resting on the door, started punching the floor.

"I'm too weak, I let him pushed me down. I should've scratched his face and sliced his throat," she said.

"I know, he'll kill me and Jin if he'll be on his way and I can't let that happen. I should protect Jin, like how he did."

Suddenly she felt eyes on her, someone's watching her.

She roamed her eyes around until she noticed there's a noise coming from the bathroom and when she went there, she was shocked to see a snake.

"What!?" she took a step back and the snake turned into a guy. He wears an assassin like clothes and it has 'SINS' logo in it, meaning they are working under the President. 'Sh*t,' she thought, 'I'm dead!'

She was about to run away when the snake guy grabbed her arm, "Stop, I won't hurt you," he said.

"What are you doing? Who are you?" She asks while trying to grab her arm away from him.

"I'm Jin's friend, I'm Jhon," he said while letting Eunica's hand, "We're here to help."
