2 Prologue

"Boss."

He looked up from his laptop, his fingers pausing in midair. Clear, dark eyes behind thin spectacles looked up to see a distress figure with clothes splashed with blood, an unbuttoned shirt and wild hair.

"Evan got into a fight again. It's bad." Jack breathe out the words watching the calm man unmoving from his seat.

This was the usual reaction of his, never in a hurry, never in a rush. Always deadly cool and silent. Even though Jack was older then him by three years, he have called him boss since their university days. Calling him by his name just seemed disrespectful towards someone like Christopher Bane.

A small sighed escaped Chris lips as he closed the laptop and slowly rose up from his seat. His hands moved towards his jacket which was draped behind the chair. His actions were unhurried and smooth as he pulled it over.

"Did someone feel his ass again?"

Jack nodded. This situation was hilarious in start but Evan's temper had gotten them in too much trouble to feel any amusement anymore.

It wasn't that someone feeling his ass was the main issue. It was the fact that the one who feel his ass was always a guy. To Jack's greatest amusement, Evan painfully attracted the most perverted gay flocks to the point that he was usually felt up or touched here or there whenever they went to a club or bar.

In a way, Jack understood it. Though Evan was olive skinned, tall, broad man- he had the face of an angle. At 28 years of age, he still look like an innocent high schooler. Blame on his baby face genes, he had always managed to attract the weirdest of people behind him. Both women and men.

The trauma had made him weary of going out and had also made him a prissy princess who would punch anyone without batting any eyelid if they touched him in any wrong way.

Jack was also once punched when he accidentally touched his butt as a joke. The punch came out of nowhere and though Evan had apologized, Jack became aware that it was an unconscious reaction for Evan. That was the last time he felt the situation amusing.

Christopher on the other hand wasn't bothered.

He had already taken off his glasses and was now fixing his hair in the body length mirror.

"Boss...." Jack insisted for him to hurry but even he himself was aware that it was useless. Chris was never in a hurry.

Finally after a number of seconds, Chris wild hair were gelled back in a slick hairstyle. He looked nothing like how he did a few minutes ago. It was like a different person stood in front of Jack. Even after so many years, he was still unable to grasp how easily Chris changed his images.

After being satisfied with how he looked, Chris quietly walked out of the door, through the narrow hallways and down the stairs to the bar where the fight had broken. Jack had silently followed.

The fight had lost much of its force since both parties had someone holding them back. Even had a bruise forming on his cheek and he looked like he was gushing to land another punch on the man who had felt him up except he was held down by Sam and Mark who were also struggling.

Chris dropped a glance at the other man. He was a large, chubby man in a suit. A gold watch glittered on his hand along with golden rings on his fingers. He was held by three of the customers.

Chris simply came forward and smiled at the man.

"I'm sorry for the inconvenience...."
