Beautiful Mistake

The Lopez and the Perez were good friends starting from their elders. They were two well-known families in Yellow Lake City. The two Patriarch of the family even agreed to marry off their children when they grew up just to strengthen the bond between them. So the two families could be one. Since their family was so close, Caroline and Samuel grew up together and was almost inseparable. Having heard that they were already arranged to be marriage when they reached the right age, the two eventually also had developed mutual feelings. How deep? Only them could tell. Everything went well on Caroline and Samuel's relationship. But everything changed when Caroline's father got involved in a controversy. He was being accused of killing his good friend which was Samuel's father. Only one witness was there and that was Samuel's mother. Because of the incident, her father, the Chairman of the Lopez group got arrested and was charged of murder. And he was immediately kicked out of the chairmanship position of the Lopez Group. His wife, Caroline's mother, who had been sickly since then could not take the blow and immediately got hospitalized. She suffered from heart attack. The once good life was gone in just a snap of a finger. Because of the incident, Samuel broke off with her and even banned her out of his life. In a snap of a finger, her princess life was gone. Her lover was gone. She was being labeled in their former circle as the daughter of a traitor. The daughter of a murderer. Her once beautiful and grand life was completely ruined. Is it over for her? Absolutely not. She still had her mother who needed her support. The Lopez couple had a savings but because of her high hospitalization cost, their savings was now depleted. Because of this, Caroline had no choice but to stop studying on her freshman year in college to look for multiple jobs just to support her mother's medication and their daily expenses as well. She had joggled one full-time and two part-time jobs in a day. She was waiting tables on a restaurant from nine to five in the afternoon, then tutoring the kids of the wealthy family for three hours in an tutorial center and worked as an internet cafe attendant by night. The cafe owner was so good to her that she allowed her to stay there to sleep when it closed at one in the morning. Her reason was that it's jot good for a woman of such young age to still roam around in the streets on late night. Caroline was thankful of this as she had saved her from paying a rent. If she would rent an apartment, that would be an additional cost. And she could not bare to shoulder that one. Before she would go on her shift on the restaurant, she would visit her mom for thirty minutes to talk to her even if the latter was not awake. Her mom had immediately become comatose when she suffered her second attack. The doctors even advised her to let go of her mom and let her have an eternal rest. However, Caroline didn't agree to it. Call her selfish but her mom was the only reason why she had remained strong and didn't lose her sanity after everything that happened. Her father? Her father was said to have commited suicide a night after he was bought to jail. He didn't even got the chance to defend himself in proper trial since he's already dead. Did she believed it though? No. She had this unwavering feeling that his father was being framed by someone. Caroline didn't know how she managed to survive a year of tough life. However, fate had been so cruel to her as she found out that she was pregnant. How did this happen?
