13 Scions

Bommy's male friend Jonas texted her saying "Have you seen Carly?"

Bommy replies "No, dear."

Jonas looked for Carly in the Church, she visits here to pray for his soul every day.

She wears a head covering each time as if she's praying hard for something.

Then, she goes home. He scolds her at home saying "You should have been home, you don't leave without telling me!"

Carly nodded then went to her room.

The next day At school, Carly's friend, Splice is with her, and Carly states "I have to go to the bathroom."

Carly is visiting Splice's School, a high school, for a school project o going outside of the norm,

Splice had a camera to capture the reactions of others seeing her bring a middle schooler to high school for the project.

Splice takes a photo of Carly asking "Cheeesee" Like she'd beg "Please?!" Like a child asking for cookies at 6.

Carly is from the lower level of the school, middle school, being 11.

Carly went to the girl's bathroom, she peed and noticed blood in her underwear.

Carly pulls off her panties, noticing her nails are pointed at the tip and black, pearly black.

Carly says "Oh shoot, what happened to my nails?!" In concern.

She called her dad saying "Dad, um, can I ask you something?" Jonas replies "Yeah, dear?"

Carly says "Do, like, your nails turn black on your period?"

Jonas gulped then thought while laughing that "She got on her period- Wait, do your nails turn black? Oh shoot, this would be serious."

He told her to "Call 911."

Carly does and she tells Splice that "My nails turned black."

Splice replies "Did you paint them while you were in there?"

Carly says "No, I didn't! I saw blood in my panties, oh my gosh, I'm gonna die!" Then Carly cried like a 5-year-old, attracting weirded-out or concerned stares,

Splice yells "Uh, she got her period, and then suddenly her nails turned black for no reason." To the now concerned onlookers, that sounds like a deadly chronic disease.

An ambulance took her away and Splice skipped school to get in the ambulance and go to the hospital with her.

At the hospital, Jonas came because Splice called him about it on the way saying "Hey, boo, yeah, you, Jonas, listen your daughter is going to the ER."

Splice is crass, sometimes.

After he shows up, Bommy is there with Splice as Carly looks at her dad.

A male doctor comes in saying "We took blood, she seems fine but we'll test her and keep her overnight or longer."

1 month later, The doctor tells Jonas "Come to the hospital quickly." Jonas shows up with his daughter, who was sent home 13 days ago.

A female doctor shows up to the doctor's office saying "Your daughter is on her period, yes, but, we found another species in her DNA that is combined with human DNA."

Jonas laughed then says "Kinda- Joking, I mean."

The doctor named Mrs. Rain says "No, no, in this paper..." She shows him the test results.

Jonas looks shocked.

Jonas read the file and gasped, covering his mouth but refused to speak.

Jonas says "She's fine."

The female doctor named Trina Rain (Mrs. Rain) says "Um, I guess. Um... I don't know what to make of this, is she like one of those ancient species?" In concern, fear, and deep confusion.

Jonas pulls his daughter out of the office, he never said anything else but "We need to talk, Carly." In fear.

He drove her home without the consent of Doctors.

Not even speaking once, even as his daughter would ask "Are you okay? Am I an alien?!" In anger that she would not get an answer.

He drove home and took her with him to the house by force, he pulled her into her room and plopped her on the bed without her even trying to sit down.

Carly shouts "Why are you actin' so freaked out, bruh?!" In bewildered anger at his forceful behavior.

He shouts "You gotta hide this crap."

He knew what those papers were talking about, they even included a picture of the cell on the paper, the DNA strand was long, green, had blue spots, pink stripes, like a part of his DNA.

He freaked out yelling "The- Well, okay." Then he calmed down thinking "this is a big deal, but I don't need to act like it." In deep concern.

He says "I should act like it, though." Under his breath

then told her "You have the DNA of a rare cell called 'Scion,'

it is found in glaciers in the north pole.

I don't know how you got it.

If it's in your DNA, you were born, it is a strange cell,

we don't know how it works.

It will merge with the cells of its host to create a new species,

another type of humanity, even.

You are called Homo-Scionis, That's the name of your species,

I was a result of a dog getting infected,

licking my mom's leg wound, then her leg suddenly got cuts,

deep ones, I was pushed out, I popped out.

It happened at a science facility,

she was doing another test with a camera filming but

something happened. She was testing a medicine,

she had a tumor-like bump,

the Scion creates a tumor in your leg

and then the tumor begins to separate and make... You."

She says "I knew you were a human-dog Hybrid, but I didn't know this! Wait, you aren't a dog? I stayed in Church praying for you to go to Heaven for nothing?!"

He says "The cells had already merged with the dog's cells by the time the dog had licked the leg wound she got when a guy stabbed her and when it got into my mother's leg, it merged with her's."

Jonas has flashbacks to when the guy would beat her mom whenever her mom got home from work in the morning.

Jonas also remembers how they'd kiss at night when she had to leave for work.

Jonas hated him.

Jonas looked completely humans, he had a lot of soft cartilage in his nose, however. This was due to the Dog DNA trying to show unsuccessfully, now, it just looks like a big, normal, human nose. The nose didn't look like a dog's nose at all. The soft cartilage was just big. His nostrils were normal. The rest of his face besides the soft cartilage in his nose appeared human.

Jonas said to her "The body of a Homo-Scionis, even when mixed with Animal they look vast majoritively human."

At a government-owned facility, the men who watched over Jonas when he was 6 and up until 12, which was when Jonas escaped, was sent a letter, handwritten letter, the mail attendee nicknamed Slide whose job was to take in these letters took them to the boss.

One of the letters he brought the boss was about Carly.

Carly looks 97% human in the photo on the letter. It looks like the test result that Jonas read about her, The boss casually called Swarm said "What is this?" As he picked up the copy of Carly's file with her picture on it

Low and behold, he was interested in first sight, another Homo-Scionis, a one in 1,200,500 chance of ever happening in America.

And there she was. REAL.

It was even rarer to have one not mixed with animal DNA, as humans usually got it from animals or dead ones found in the woods or meat that was not cooked properly.

It was commonly found in animals from the north pole, however, in America, that was almost none unless you found the animal with it at the zoo.

The boss remembers a video in which A lion broke out and had bitten into a dog one day, they saved the dog but the dog went on to bite 3 other dogs, one of them was a Golden Retriever, whom of which had bitten his owner in the arm.

When the baby was born, the owner was in shock, and then took it to the hospital due to its mostly human appearance.

The baby girl's name is Tonya.

Tonya is at the governmental facility.

In the present day, The boss looks at the file and orders the men he hired to "Go and find Carly, bring her here to the facility, don't kill her unless I order you, she's a rare specimen, would be a shame to take out such a rare creature. She's a homo-Scionis, pure human and Scion DNA, no animal, extremely rare to find one."

A guard named Zidon, A Phoenician-American, states "Why do we hold them in cages? We should see them as humans."

The boss says "They cannot be compromised."

Then Jamyang, a Tibetan-American who converted to Christianity a month ago says "Why don't you let them roam free or breed them to make more?"

The boss was named Thocero Craupa after his Etruscan ancestor. He's from Tuscany, Italy.

Thocero Craupa said "We do breed the pure human-and-scion-only ones.

Their children are usually white-haired with pale skin.

Rarely do we have brown, but that's only because it's not often a black person is infected with the Scion Cells.

Babies that are not from 'Homo-Scionis sex' always have black hair and white irises in their eyes with white pupils, with grey rims around the pupil and iris."

Ziden asks "Why?"

Thocero Craupa says "We don't know, it's just a genetic thing, I guess."

Thocero Craupa leans into his desk as he sat down at it in his office saying "The Legislation states we keep them contained so that these abominations don't roam the streets. Such beautiful abominations, so fascinating..."
