7 Bandit Bundle

Henri looked down at the bandit with disdain written all over her face.

After clearing her throat, "You really thought you could stir up trouble under the guise of banditry huh? I almost feel bad for those poor fools who have lost their lives due to their blind loyalty towards a scumbag like you."

"Sh-shutup! What do you know of my problems?!" screamed the bandit before beginning to shout out random curse words like a prebuscent teen would.

Henri snorted before throwing the twin blades into a nearby fern. Reaching down, Henri ripped the broach off of his cloak and held it up to examine it in the light.

The bronze colored broach gleamed in a particular strong shaft of sunlight.

"Looks like I was right. Your from the country of Beltaor arent you?" Henri said quietly while still examining the broach in closer detail.

Marie started to clap her little pale hands hands in appreciation.

'Henri really is so smart!' The little werewolf praised Henri to the highest heavens in her heart.

"Okay I've looked at this enough." Henri announced as she slipped it into her traveling bag.

What the hell! That's mine you know! Cried the bandit internally. But it was obvious he was in no position to argue at the moment.

Slipping her hand back out of her bag Henri pulled out a large black glowing chain 8 foot chain that realistically couldn't fit in such a small traveling bag. The bag must have been magically enhanced to accommodate more items than it let on.

Gulp. The bandit tried to clear his throat but failed due to Henri not giving him enough time to even complete that simple bodily function before she had roughly began winding the chain around him.

As soon as his body made contact with the chain he immediately felt his energy being drained out of him as a rapid rate. It was as though a leech had attacked itself to him and was greedily sucking all his vitality and vigor from his body.

His eyelids started to grow heavier the the second, and resist as he may, within no less than a minute he was fully bound tight and drifted off into a deep slumber momentarily thereafter.

"Well that's finally over with, a bit more melodramatic than I was going for but oh well..." grumbled Henri as she clasped the chain in both her hands and began to drag her new sleeping bundle over to the carriage.

Noticing the kid was still frozen, no doubt from shock, she said in gentle tone than any she had used previously since their encounter began " Big brother, come over here already arent you worried about your older friend here?" Henri asked while releasing one hand from bundle duty to point in the boys uncles direction.

Glancing in his uncles direction, tears soon started to flow from his eyes. Uncle was so bloody!

Instantly recovering from the shock that was now replaced with worry, he ran over to be by his uncles side.

Leaning against the carriage the uncles eyes fluttered open at hearing that oh so familiar sob.

"Damien, thank goodness..." The uncle murmured softly while releasing a heavy sigh at seeing his dear nephew safe and sound.

Henri looked at the touching little family reunion and lightly placed their free hand over the chest, before slightly shaking their head and once again lugging her 'bandit bundle' over towards the carriage before grimacing as she heaved him above her head and tossed him ontop of the carriage.

"Well, do you think you'll give us a reward for saving you and all..." Henri asked him not to loud, but not to quietly either. As if unsure of interrupting the two.

Savien meanwhile had picked up the 'shiny rocks' she had thrown at the bandits earlier, and already deposited them into her apron pocket that somehow mysteriously looked very much flat and empty afterwards.

"Henri are you going to unsummon the draigs or keep them out to cause more mischief?" Savien probed as she began to make her way over to stand next to the carriage the others had planted themselves near.

Henri turned her head away from the boy and man and towards Savien.

"I'll keep them out awhile longer I think." She said answering Savien with no expression on her face.

Marie leaped onto the roof of the carriage while taking out a eirie looking green rope and had begun to tie the bandit securely to the carriage roof.

"Uncle Zeriff-...Hck..." Damien began to sob while trying to talk to his uncle.

He leaned over and began to hug the bloodied man, not paying any mind to his state of cleanliness.

Henri couldn't stand to watch this boy begin his grand show of waterworks, so she took a few steps to arrive swiftly at the uncles side before proceeding to get on one knee and kneel next to the almost dying man.
