8 The Hunt Begins

"Haha, with this i can kill better. But why didn't you ask me why i choose Shadow mouse?" Brimming with confidence I said but still wondered.

Teasingly I asked "Do you want to know?" But the system replied with a straight forward "No." Not allowing me to talk it said.

Still feeling amazed about the new functions I quickly said "Yes" in anticipation.

Happily I said "Now I have a range skill." While talking I felt something fast enter my God's eyes range moving towards him. Activating shadow step and swiftly dodged while countering with slash. My attack was meet with a metallic resistance, looking at my attacker I saw a bird with dark brown feathers. It was a Mid Rank 1 Steel Winged Hawk Whose height was half that of a human's. After see it's attack missed it turned to strike again by taking to the air then swooping down using it's blade like wings. Dodging the wings, I moved below the hawk and used dark swipe at its abdomen but the hawk flapped it's wings moving upward. I immediately created a dark spear launching it at the hawk. Not expecting the attack, the hawk's left wing was pierced causing it to loose control and fall. As it fell I ran up a tree before leaping to the side of the hawk. I turned in mid air then used tail slash to attack it's neck.

Landing on the ground, behind me the hawk crashed dead.

"Damn i'm good." Feeling hyped I ran through the forest looking for a demon beast to fight. After two minutes I found one. A low Rank 1 Blue Maned Wolf. Before it sensed me i had already danced around it's body using slash and dark swipe killing it. Within mark's God's eyes range I saw other wolves. Saying to myselfself "Looks like he is part of a pack" I moved towards them and started a massacre.

After killing the last one, I finally calmed down

"System tell me about the system shop." I said after relaxing.

[The system shop provides sales of Items like potions, materials and skills. Items and skills gotten from the shop can be used by others.]

"Oh, then how do i buy them?" I asked.

[Sp is used to optain them.]

"Then how do i get Sp's?" Iasked

[By giving the system beast cores found in demon beasts.]

"Da F***k. Why didn't you tell me before?" Annoyed I asked
