4 Chapter 4: Parents, Love rivals, and Secrets

INTRO; Lone Friends On The Wild Side by Triple Q(Soundcloud)

It starts, as a black and white wolf ( Clay Legoshi) stares into the distances where a white dwarf rabbit in a white dress(Clay Haru) walks through the dead forest as the moon shines.

Legoshi savagely follows, unaware of behind him open a portal hurling Clay Xavier and Clay Kavier onto the ground.

They were scared, follow the path ahead of them.

The camera flips between Haru walking without care, Legoshi following, and the twins scared and curious, following as well.

Haru stops and looks back, Legoshi hides behind a dead tree and twins the same, with surprised looks.

They keep going at it like hiding and seek, while Kavier was behind Haru peaking and Xavier behind Legoshi doing the same. Until the camera zooms out revealing the gang on deer horns.

Haru sprints away while Legoshi follows and the twins having a tough time catching up. Haru falls to the ground by a fountain and flowers and Legoshi arrives ready to attack but stops, she looks back and the sun rises.

They smile and begin dancing with each other. The twins made it and smile and dances, too.

The screen splits Legoshi and Haru dancing together and Xavier and Kavier dancing like 1900s dancers in sync. They spin and stared, surprised at each other.

A blood moon appears revealing Legoshi in tears with blood and white puffy fur on the ground.

The twins frown and walk up to him grab each shoulder.

Legoshi noticed, but they stared at the moon with gloomy looks and Legoshi does the same.

Panther Student; Hey, human! He waves with a smirk.

Bear jock; Look, fellas, human! He side hugs Kabier that was struggling to breathe.

Hen student; Y-you must be Kabier. Everyone talks about, Uh... She looks away. I-is they're an application for your drama club?

Black-white cat student; I wouldn't mind, spending a night with you.~ Kabier nervously walks past a group of catgirls giggling.

Kabier; Hey! He looks back with a small blush.

Orange Cat student; Nice butt. They laugh while Kabier speedwalks from the area covering his backside.

He sighs checking his messages.

Xavier- Yo, I'm gonna be out for a while. meet you back at the dorm.

Kabier; It's already awkward. Living with Lou-He bumps into someone.

Fox student; Ow! Watch where you going!

Kabier; Oh, uh sorry. Let me help. He got up and reaches his hand out: she stares at Kabier sternly.

She slaps his hand away.

"I can get up myself, thank you."

"What's wrong with you?"

"You bumped into me, bud." She taps her nail on his chest while a small crowd gathered.

Kabier; I didn't mean it.

Fox student; Excuses. Excuses. She rolls her eyes.

Security Cow; Is there a problem here? He raised a brow, while the fox student shows a hint of fear.

Kabier; Uh, theirs no problem. He smiles. Terry! There you are. Your late bruh! Everyone followed his glance while he grabs the fox student's hand. I hope you know how to run! He whispers: taking off with her behind.

Security Cow; Hey!!!

Fox student; Are you nuts?!

"Are you?! You know laws send carnivores like you to prison or expulsion". They ran past a few students.

Security Cow; Calling in..backup. Whew. Oh, God! He came to a stop while the two turn the corner. This is one of the reasons I hate kids!

He jogs after them and came to a stop.

The Security Cow wanders around until he heard a rustle. He goes to enter the Alley.

Security Cow Talkie; Calling in available, units. There's a human student in pursuit, of an unknown trespasser, at B-Building.

Security Cow; On my way. He answers. Giving one last glance to the alley, and jog away.

Kabier walked from the darkness of the alley peek behind the corner while the fox student approaches him.

Kabier; It looks like we're safe-Ow! Hey. He winces, the Fox girl pulls his hair.

Fox girl; Don't follow me. She lets go, exiting the alley while Kabier rubs his head in pain.

-5 minutes ago-

Xabier took Ellen on a date at a Cafe on Campus during the afternoon. They laughed.

Xabier; When we thought, we're going to leave school unnoticed. Kabier being; retarded, wrote his name on my sheet paper in my Teacher's classroom. Luckily, the principal let us slide. Ellen giggles while Xabier chuckles, fixing his glasses.

Ellen; I'm surprised, You and your brother don't fight like other twins.

Xabier; Well, he can be annoying at times, but I wouldn't trade him for the world. Heck, even he's the youngest, he acts more like an older brother than I was. He's outgoing, kind, a ladies magnet, and fit; sometimes I wish I'm like him. Ellen grasps Xabier's hand.

"Then what's the point of us-meeting?" Xabier looks up at, smirking Ellen. Kabier may have these traits. But, being like him. What's desirable in that? Xabier was all ears. Xabier, you're shy, kind, a hard worker, and cute. They blush. Your brother would want you to be you. I want you to be you; that's how I fall madly in love with you."

They slowly lean forward, their lips perk until a flash ruins the moment.

The hoodie figure stood out the window, staring with a camera in hand. The figure bolts, cursing under its breath.

Xabier; Hey! He runs after it. Get security. He said after leaving Ellen's view.

The figure and Xabier grab the student's attention panting and running like a mad man.

Xabier; Someone...Stop him! He said between breaths; no one intervened while they entered B-Building.

The hoodied figure kicks the door into Xabier's face. He falls onto his back.

The hoodie figure took down the hall while Xabier gave chase holding, his nose. "That bitch."

The hoodie figure uses its environment like chairs, a mat, and students to slow him down; Xabier jumps over the scramble chairs, dodges the mattress crashing down, and bumps into a few other students. "Wait!" He sweats climbing: the stairs. And to the roof.

He noticed the Hood figure looks back at the door.

Xabier; You bastard! The hoodie figure runs while Xabier follows.

Xabier pushes his untrained but slim body, charging behind the hooded figure; his steps grew closer, his hands at hood reach. "HA!" He tackles, but the Hoodie Figure leaps from the roof.

Time seems to slow down while his body plummets; Xabier peaks out of breath while the hoodie figure descends from class window to window.

Its boots hit the ground as it looks up at Xabier and walks away.

"Shit." The door burst open revealing, security.

Kabier; Come on, pick up. His phone buzz, showing Xabier's ID. Please, Please, Ple-

Xabier; Hello?

"Oh, thank god, where are you?" He pace.

"I'm all good-ah." Ellen apologize.

"Who's that?" He raised a brow.

"Uh..the nurse." Xabier looks to Ellen pressing, an ice bag on his bruised lip. She gave a 'You haven't told him' glare.

Kabier; Xavier? He questioned.

Xabier; Wha-aaah! Damn it, woman!

"Boy...You keeping something from me?" His voice deepens.

"Don't do that... Fine, wanna know?

Kabier; I'm listening.

Xabier; He sighs nervously. El- The phone cuts out.

Kabier; Hello? Damn. He watches his last battery run dead.

Kabier walks past Els and Risu on a bench reading the newspaper of that event looking down at his phone.

They noticed him.

"Great. The phone died and now, what will this universe throw at me?" He said under his breath.

Risu & Els; Kabier!!! They call, scaring him. His attention was on the two smiling at him.

Kabier; Pipsqueak. Els. He smirks while they approach him. Risu sat on Els's shoulder.

Els; Wait, you know, Risu?

Kabier; Yeah, when my brother and I transferred here. I almost squash her. He rubs his neck, embarrassed. I'm guessing you two have been friends for quite some time.

Risu; Yeah, she's my childhood friend. I bet you two met at the theater club?

"...Yes, we have." Risu notices her tone of voice and smirks.

"Kabier, have you kiss a girl?"

Kabier; No, why? He raises a brow.

Els; Why would you ask that?! She blushes.

Risu: Can't a chipette ask? She smirks.

"Ye-no- uh..." Els was a stumbling messed.

Kabier: It's fine. Random-yet fine. He gives his best-assuring smile.

Risu; What was that?

Kabier; TAK!!! He clutches his stomach gaining the two attention. ' Crap! With all those animals trying to interact with me. I forgot to grab a bite!'

Els; Come, have a sit.

"Come on." Els grabs his hand and leads to a bench that Risu and Els sat on earlier.

Risu friend; Hey! Her friends waved from down the path for her.

Risu; Well, it seems. This my stop. Els gently lowers her hand to the ground. Don't bite too hard.~

Els; RISU!!!

"Bye-Bye! Pil-Els!~" She leaves.

Kabier; Pil-Els? He questioned.

Els; ...It's because of my wool.

"Ok." The wind whistles while the environment was silent.

"Yeah, uh you can have some of mine. She bows with the bento in hand. I can't take another bite..."

Kabier; Els, I can't-

Els; I insist! He accepts the offer.

"Thank you! I'm a man of my word. Ask, and I'll return the favor."

"Oh no, I don't need anything from you." She nervously states with a blush.

"Nonsense, you scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours..Well, more like picked." He opens the bento there; it was half-eaten salad. Kabier cries mentally.

Els: ...I can't wait for Meteor Festival.

Kabier: Meteor Festival? He eats the bland salad.

"Yeah, it's where couples go inside the meteor and place a candle to show that their Love will burn until the end of time."

'Wait, how long have been here?' Kabier thought to himself.

Kabier: ...Yeah, I think I like that idea. It will boost morale as well as grow their relationship. It's truly amazing, and lonely at the same time.

Els; Lonely? Don't tell me your-

"Yeah, I'm single. He looks out the distances. I did things in the past that I want to forget, so I promise myself I'll put her first when the time comes."

" You're going to make her happy when that comes." They look out at the distances together.

Kabier was walking in the afternoon.

CRASH!!!

He snaps his head to the window above him. Kabier sprints.

When he got there he sees Mizuchi and her goons spitting nonsense to Haru that was on the ground, wet because she dropped a vase of flowers.

Brown-bunny; God, she's a freak.

Kabier; It looks like I'm one, too.

They turn around to see Kabier's walk through. Haru stares at his back. She grunts.

Mizuchi; Why defend a slut? I bet it's because the sex was good, right?

"You would know all about that, would you? Kabier raises a brow. Why are you interested in my status lately? Do you want a foot rub or something?"

Mizunchi girls; Ooooh.

Mizuchi grabs his shirt and looks up at him.

Kabier; The same goes for you. He glares back. Haru shoves Kabier to the side Hey!

Haru: I can take care of myself, thank you. She glances at Mizunchi and her friends. Now, you three label me as something along the line 'Trash' or 'Slut'. Why steep so low to bully someone that doesn't share your experiences? If you ask me, you're the lowest compare to me. Or are you too stupid to comprehend?

Mizunci; Y- Her ears drop as well as her friends confusing Kabier. AH! You can have her! See what I care!!! She and her friends race down the hall.

"Well, that show her." Suddenly the two got a chill up their spine. They turn around in sync.

Legoshi towered the two releasing a dark aura while his cold eyes stare at there's. Haru hid behind Kabier leg.

Kabier; ....Uh, Lego? He questioned nervously while his stare continued.

Legoshi bends down, picking up a rose.

Legoshi; Sorry, if I scared you two. He held it out to Haru. She regained composure and checks on her flowers.

Haru: I see what it is. You two won't fool me.

Kabier and Legoshi; Fool you? They questioned.

" I don't offer myself like that. She gathers the flowers while Kabier blushed. If you excuse me, I don't date guys who have-"

THUD!!!

Haru drops her flowers while Kabier flinches. Legoshi hand was against the wall while Haru's ears drop.

Legoshi; Oh, uh...we technically didn't do it. He looks away nervously, and glance at Kabier with his nose winking.

Haru; I'm hungry because of that drama. Hey, you two coming?

Legoshi and Kabier glance at each other dumbfounded.

Timeskip brought to you by Legoshi, Kabier, and Haru walking to Cafeteria but sees a mid-age grey wolf(She-wolf) stiffing toward Kabier. He tenses up until she pounces on him trying to search his pockets, but fails by Legoshi holding her back while Haru gave a dumbfounded look.

Now in the Cafeteria, some parents and students fill the room happily talking amongst each other, but on the other side of the room were empty. Leaving Haru, Kabier, Legoshi, and Leano to themselves as they were seated. Haru was by Kabier while Legoshi and Leano were in front of them.

Kabier; Yeah, I hope it doesn't offend you. Because of a human giving a treat to a wolf, you know? But, Legoshi loves this stuff, I'm trying to steer him in the right direction. Kabier glances to Haru while tossing five each to Legoshi and Leano as they catch it with their mouths with blushes on their faces think about the taste the treat gives off.

" It's ok, but other Carnivores might take offense to that."

Legoshi; I'm fine, mom, Kabier is a great friend. Legoshi smiles.

Haru hides a smirk, while Kabier raised a brow.

"Ok, Kabier." Leano picks up her tray while Kabier follows right behind.

Legoshi; 'OH, NO MOM- KABIER WAIT!! OH GOD!!! OH GOD!!! I THOUGHT I GOT PASS THIS!!!' While Legoshi was having a meltdown in his head. Haru was roaring with anxiety in her's.

Haru; 'OH KABIER WHY DO YOU HAVE TO GO?!!! SINCE YOU LEFT ME MY INSTINCTS TELLING ME TO RUN AWAY!!! I DON'T WANT TO RUDE!!' ! Haru legs twitch under the table.

Haru and Legoshi nervously smirk at each other while Kabier and Leano took a seat from the two. They glance at Haru and Legoshi pleading stares.

Leano sigh, eating a piece of the streak.

Leano; By the looks of it. Haru is scared me and my boy, I can't blame her, we are carnivores after all. She waved to Legoshi and Haru off to talk. I'm surprised, you not like Haru. Leano glance at Kabier curiously.

Kabier; Don't get me wrong, I'm am. He spoons some banana puddle and took a bite of it. But, that's not going to stop me. My dad always told me "If you fear something, take the bull by the horns."

"My father is in America." She nods with a satisfied smile.

"That's quite far." She glances at the bandages while Kabier hid them.

Kabier; Yeah, quite far. Silents filled the table while Leano nostril wink. So uh, how are-Her hand grabs his with haste, startling Kabier.

Leano; Stay away from my son. A shadow covered her face while her eyes were cold. She stares daggers in Kabier's. He's hunting, and I know he doesn't want to.

Kabier; Heee...Kabier winces while her grips increases.

"And he will not stop until you or someone with that similar scent dies. Legoshi laughs with Haru. It's making my mind; blank. Her black sharp, nails slide down Kabier's bandaged arm: gently. Please hid my warning. She let's go while Kabier slid back his chair. He pants in shock while Leano returns, but in regret. K, I'm-'

Kabier leaves the table with haste gaining Haru and Legoshi attention.

Haru; K. K? He exits.

The cold breeze hits his face; his pants get worst.

COUGH! COUGH!

'He will not stop until you or someone with that similar scent dies.'

Kabier; Oh...god. It's getting harder to breathe. He drops to his knees.

Flashes of the first-night colored blood red. He remembers savage Legoshi clawing at him as his life flashes before his eyes.

'Ah, sorry about that Xabier!'

A shadow towers over (Primal) Legoshi while he ceases his attack.

'Kabier is a great friend.'

Haru; Kabier! His breath shook while he noticed; Haru is face to face with worried written all over her. Breathe, 1,2- He followed recollecting, his breath while Legoshi and Leano spectate.

Legoshi; Mom, what did you do? He glare.

Leano; Only told the 'Boogieman.'

"Mom!"

"He insists." She shrugs.

Haru; Come on. It's nice meet you Ms.Leano. She held his hand while they walk down the full moon dawning, onto the concrete while Leano and Legoshi watch them leave.
