Beast within

As I wake up I'm just completely surrounded by darkness, I guess you could say I was engulfed in it. So I get straight up off my feet and look around for a source of light, I see I glimmer in the distance. I start bolting to the light and the closer I get to the light, the light gets bigger and brighter. So I feel a sense of hope boiling up inside of me, as I start to reach the end I feel an overwhelming sense of fear just creeping up behind me. So me not being this terrified in my life I turn around and in the corner of my eye I see a humongous beast closing in on my but it's not some normal wolf or bear it's much more evil, much more sinister and much more bigger than anything I've seen in my life, I can only see the shadow so my imagination starts to get the best of me, so I just start racing over different possibilities in my mind, I start to think a type of disgusting wolf and bear type hybrid. I try to scurry away but I'm too slow it latches onto me with its beastly claws. When I look around I see a sharp looking object I try to grab it but sadly my arms just aren't long enough so I look around for something else but there's nothing, so I take one last glance at the beast and I notice it has many scars so this has clearly happened to people before but how many people has this happened to and why is this happening to me so I try to grab the object and I can finally reach so I slice it he beasts wrists and it lets out a wail not a high pitch wail but rather lets out a very low and demonic wail. It leaves go but as I run to the light I get blasted back to the beast as if I never even reached the end, suddenly I hear a demonic voice. It seems to be the beast and is trying to speak to me, he whispered "I have been in here for 1000's of years and my only way out is if I make a deal with a mere human like yourself, but the only bad part is if I stay attached to you forever, I cannot control you but I only take over when I sense your in danger or when you angry, others will not see me only you, now do you take this offer" I ask "what happens though ?" He says "well like I said if you get angry I come out, unless of course you figure a way to control me which is highly unlikely, I have only had one other companion my old friend". We discuss more and more about this life he has had and tells me it's a test the demon king set up for him to see what type of human he could encounter and be with. We exchange names his name turns out to be one of my old friends names which is nagita. Which is quite interesting, this brings back lots of memory's of him and how kind and joyful he was until that night, the night he got taken away from me, his mother his father his brother, but I felt he was more of a family than my own. As I lay in pain an overwhelming feeling of power floods my body flowing through my veins, and every other part of my body I can just feel all this power building up inside of me, it's nagita the beast he could feel my pain. So I ask why, why are you doing this, to fill your satisfaction... to prove your worthiness to the demon king WHY ?!?! He simply answers "to be with you again" and I ask "is it really you?".
