Prologue: A Deal with a Sage

3rd POV

"So, let me get this straight. You tracked my address like a creepy stalker, came up to me like a shady drug dealer with a deal that I can't seem to refuse, and now you're asking me if I'm uncomfortable due to the circumstances happening now?" Zeno stared at the famous sage of Alfresia in front of him.

"I know it sounds a lot worse, but it's a good deal isn't it?" Yagoo sweated internally as he fends off the menacing stare Zeno gives off.

"Sure~ Then next you'll tell me that I have to deal with dragons, angels, and psychopaths." Zeno scoffed and crossed his arms.

'Holy shit he actually guessed it!' Yagoo yelled in his mind as tried to keep his composure.

"Well, the pay is good. I get to do what I love most in this ridiculous city. The only thing I don't like is that I'm practically getting forced to agree to it. But hey, desperate times needs desperate measures." Zeno muttered as he gazes at the clause on the table.

'Plus, I can finally hide from those fanatic Hunters out for my blood and body. Why did I have to reincarnate as a Zinogre of all things anyway?!' Zeno roared in resignation as he looked back at Yagoo.

"Fine, the only reason I'm agreeing to this is for personal agenda only. One that I'm still reluctant to tell you." Zeno released a sigh and stretched out his right hand to Yagoo.

"I look forward to working with you Mr. Zinogre." Yagoo took the hand and shakes it.

"Kyle, Kyle Zeno. Zinogre is just a moniker." Said with a straight face. He still wonders to this day, how people came up with that name that is, ironically enough, his real self and species. Yagoo nodded and left the apartment.

Zeno sighed again and stared at the ceiling.

"A world of magic and science. Vtubers? What the hell is that even? This world is weird in so many ways. At least when I was back at MH World, I can make sense of what is happening. This is what? My second or third transmigration? Why is my life oh so complicated." He muttered to himself as he soon looked back at the clause on his desk.

"Well, complicated or not, I guess I'll just have fun while I'm at it."
