It was already late evening by the time the show ended and the skies were getting dark.
"I can't understand the main lead, how can she fall in love with someone with just one look?" Ye Chen grumbled as he walked out of the theatre.
"Why not? I have seen it happen." Mu Yang added with a grin.
"That's so stupid. Only little girls believe in such nonsense!" Ye Chen rubs his chin and frowns.
"Stop gossiping, let's hurry back to the Mu Mansion and give our greetings Father and Mother before heading back to our Sects." Mu Lian interrupted the conversation and dragged the two to walk faster.
"Wait for a second! Let's get some buns! It smells really good!" Ye Chen walked towards the store in front of them.
"All you think of is buns buns buns. What else do you think about?" Despite nagging at Ye Chen, Mu Lian reached out to his pouch and handed coins over to the bun vendor.
"I think about a lot of things every day...such as...how to spend your money and how to make you angry!" Ye Chen snatched the packet of buns before running towards the direction of Mu Family home.
"Stupid Brat! Don't you dare run! I'm going to beat the crap out of you!" Mu Lian chased after the troublemaker, forgetting to collect his change from the vendor.
"Some things never change, huh?" Mu Yang collected the change and gave a smile to the vendor before picking up his pace to follow the two.

"Welcome back Eldest young master, second young master and young master Ye. Master and Madam are waiting in the main hall for your arrival." Xiao Zhen greeted them respectfully when opening the front door.
"Zhen-Jie, Mu-Xiong is bullying me again just because he paid for some cheap buns...As the eldest young master of the Mu Family, how come he is so stingy ah?" Ye Chen acted pitifully and pouted his lips.
"Shut your mouth." Mu Lian snapped.
"Waaa! You see? So rude!!!" Ye Chen pointed at Mu Lian and looked at Xiao Zhen with an "I told you so" look.
Xiao Zhen let out a gentle laugh and said, "It was very quiet here without the three of you. Neither one of you came back due to your injuries and everyone was worried. But since you have the energy to anger the eldest young master, as usual, means you're fine."
The twins nodded their heads towards Xiao Zhen, signalling to her that they will be going first. Both of them walked towards the main hall while Ye Chen stayed behind.
"How have you been Zhen-Jie?" Ye Chen asked the house servant who was in her mid-forties. Xiao Zhen is a servant of the Mu Family, she takes care mainly of Ye Chen's needs when he was staying there up till seven before he enrolled into GongCi. To Ye Chen, Xiao Zhen is like his nanny and he is very fond of her.
"I am well, go to the main hall, everyone is waiting for you." Xiao Zhen hurried the teenager to follow his cousins. Nodding his head in acknowledgement of what she said, Ye Chen ran after the two figures.

"Aunty Mu, Uncle Mu!!!!" Ye Chen greeted cheerfully as he saw the two loving elderly sitting around the round table.
"Greetings to Father, Greetings to Mother" the twins greeted their parents.
"Ah-Ye, Lian-er, Yang-er!!!" Madam Mu stood up and walked towards Ye Chen, inspecting him.
"Where does it still hurt? How are you feeling? Stupid Sect rules preventing us from visiting our Ah-Ye, it's been one month since I last saw you ah!"
"Thanks to Elder Ming's top-grade herbs and daily spiritual power, I was able to recover much faster than they thought! They thought I was going to be bedridden for three months! Can you imagine? I would have died of boredom!" Ye Chen happily answers Madam Mu's concern.
"Oh, and also Mu Lian and Mu Yang came by every weekend to help with my healing too. I'm sure my speedy recovery was also attributed to that!"
"That's good… don't overexert yourself the next few months just to make sure you are fully recovered… meanwhile, just eat properly and don't fool around too much." Madam Mu gestured for dinner to be served and shortly after, the table was filled with nutritious looking food. Madam Mu has instructed the kitchen to prepare healthy food and restricts spicy dishes for this dinner.
"Ah-Ye, so glad you are doing well, quick children, come over and eat before the food gets cold." Master Mu's warm voice nudged the teenagers standing around.

"Wehhhh, the day is over like that? It's been a month since I was able to go out...I don't want to go back so soon!" Ye Chen gave a big pout and sulked while bidding goodbye to the Mu elderlies.
"Don't act spoiled, at least you get to go out today. It's late, hurry up, let us send you back to the Sect and we will head back to our Sect after." Mu Lian walked ahead, gesturing the two behind to pick up their pace.
GongCi Sect is located in the east of Ping Tian Continent while TianAn is located in the north. Mu Family Home is located in the east, just right under GongCi sect. Although it seems near on the map, it would take at least an hour to GongCi sect from Mu Family Home. From GongCi to TianAn takes about two.
