10 Chapter 10 At the Edge of the Forest

As Julian's motorbike left the city, the thick forest that Ethan and Julian had never seen before appeared in front of them.

"Oh my god! How does this forest grow? I remember that there has never been such a tall tree near our small city, right?"

Julian parked his motorbike on the side of the road and looked at the towering trees in front of him, which were at least a hundred meters high.

"Sure enough!"

Ethan took off his helmet and summoned Hulk out of the summoning book.

"Hulk, can we track the traces of goblins here?"

Hulk shrugged his nose, took a deep breath, and nodded.

"There is still some smell left."

"Then let's start!"

Ethan patted Julian's shoulder.

"Julian, find a hidden place to hide your motorbike. Let's walk!"

"Hey, why not continue to move forward by motorcycle?"

Julian was confused.

In his opinion, the motorcycle moved much faster than walking.

"The noise of the motorbike is too loud. We should try our best to avoid being discovered by the enemy now."

Ethan slightly pulled the bowstring of the bow in his hand. Feeling the state of the bow he had just obtained, he turned around and took off the rope from the back of the motorcycle. After looking around, he walked to the edge of the forest and began to prepare for entering the forest.

Seeing this, Julian shrugged his shoulders helplessly and waved his hands to summon his two goblins out to serve as the hard labor.

"Arno, Hale, go and unload these things."

Arno was the first goblin that Julian had summoned.

And Hale was the goblin that was re-summoned after being killed by Julian.

Arno hit hard on Hales head and then ordered the latter to unload the goods. But he picked up the lighter equipment and threw the heaviest and difficult equipment to Hale.

Julian, who was well aware of this, ignored it.

In his opinion, the real summoning beast should be like Ethan's Hulk, who could fight and bear. It would be more honorable to take Hulk out!

Hiding his motorbike in the grass not far away and pretending, Julian suddenly patted his head.

"Oh, by the way! Ethan, I forgot to take out a piece of equipment. Arno, take my backpack!"

"Yes! My great master!"

As soon as he heard Julian's order, Arno immediately kicked down Hale who was holding the backpack, grabbed the backpack, and ran to Julian.

Julian nodded slightly and took over the backpack. He took out a pair of black double barrel-shaped things from it and waved it towards Ethan.

"Ethan, I think you should use it!"

"What? Is that a telescope?"

Ethan, who tidied up the rope and hung it on his shoulders, glanced at the thing in Julian's hand and recognized it immediately.

"Yes, it's my brother who brought it back not long ago. It's not a precious thing. Come on! It can be used with your anti curve bow."

Taking a look at the rope hanging on Ethan's shoulder, Julian guessed that Ethan wanted to climb the tree to gain a better and wider view.

Julian had kept this in mind during the fight in the park.

"Okay, I'll take it!"

Without hesitation, Ethan walked over and put the telescope away.

With this, Ethan was more confident in his next move.

Seeing that Ethan was very satisfied, Julian patted Arno on his head in a good mood as praise.

This made Arno so happy that he almost danced.

Hale next to him looked resentful and scared.

After a while, Hulk came back.

"My master, I found it! It's in that direction. And there seem to be some unknown footprints around it."

Hulk pointed to the southeast. The forest was not so dense.

"Unidentified footprints? Are they humans?"

"Maybe, but I don't know."

Hulk thought for a while, but he was not sure.

Seeing this, Ethan made a decision immediately.

"Let's go! Hulk, lead the way! Julian, you and I are in the middle, leaving Arno and Hale behind."

"Okay!"

The two of them didn't talk much and immediately took action.

Letting Hulk lead the way was undoubtedly a plan to alert the enemy.

After all, he was too big to hide.

Ethan asked Hulk to be the vanguard to attract the attention of his enemies.

As soon as they entered the forest, the two people who had been used to staying in the city suddenly shivered.

"Wow, it's so cold, isn't it?"

Julian rubbed his arms as if he was not used to the coldness in the forest.

Ethan cast a sidelong glance at Julian, who was complaining this on purpose!

Before the accident, the weather had begun to turn cold.

Most of them had put on their coats. The coolness was nothing at all.

"It will be warm if you walk more."

Ethan answered Julian's complaint casually and looked around to make a plan that might be useful.

This was not because Ethan was too cautious, it was necessary to take such action.

For Ethan and Julian, two modern people who grew up in the city, the forest was strange in their memory.

Even when the two of them were young, out of curiosity, they had been addicted to the survival show in the wild for some time. But it had been many years ago.

In social life, day after day, these memories were only beautiful.

All of a sudden, Hulk, who was leading the way, returned.

"My master, we have arrived. The tribe is over there. If we keep approaching, we may meet their sentries."

Hearing this, Ethan raised his right hand and clenched his fist, indicating Julian and his two goblins to stop.

"Let's go there. Maybe we can use your equipment!"

Ethan pointed to the bright place not far to his right.

After keeping Hulk, Arno, and Hale on the alert, Ethan and Julian reached there. It was a cliff. If they looked down, they would be able to take in the goblin tribe that Hulk had found.

Ethan took out the telescope and gave Julian a thumbs-up sign. Then he used the telescope to look at the tribe.

Seeing this, Ethan's face immediately became serious.

"How is it going, Ethan?"

Noticing Ethan's expression, Julian asked in a hurry.

"Not very good. But that's within my expectation."

Ethan put down the telescope, pondered for a while, and told Julian what he had seen.

"As we expected, the goblin tribe was built in the cave. But there was something like a totem hanging at the entrance of the cave."

"A totem?"

Julian was stunned and almost cried out. When he realized what had happened, Julian covered his mouth.

"Does that mean there is a shaman in the goblin tribe?"

"Yes, and we have to make the worst plan."

Ethan took a deep breath.

"The shaman usually hides the goblin baby in the small hole on the back of the bone chair he uses. Julian, do you know what it means?"

Julian opened his mouth and hesitated.

Although Julian was able to adapt to the battle with goblins within two days after the shock, it would be impossible for him to kill the baby goblin.

What's more, from the moment the goblin baby was born, it inherited the cruel nature of the goblins. It would kneel and beg for mercy without hesitation in the face of a strong enemy, but also to stab a knife in the back decisively and ruthlessly.

"The battle is the battle! After that, let me do it!"

Seeing the hesitation of his best friend, Ethan understood.

Putting away the telescope, Ethan patted Julian on the shoulder.

"Let's go! We have to seize the time!"

Julian's face changed. Finally, he gritted his teeth and followed Ethan.
