20 First Blood Demon Art

'Hmm what should I do about this one?' I thought about what to do with the demon. I was sure that as soon as the sun went down it would attack us but I didn't know if he could be useful or not. I mean the more bodies I have at my disposal the more there is to use for research.

' Fuck it. I'll just ask him about the Devil as far as his remains are considered he'll go in the box. I wanna know if staying enclosed in an area full of wisteria flowers affected him or not.'

I then jumped down from the tree and moved towards the camp.

I could see Inosuke and Zenitsu still sleeping while Haku was checking his supplies.

I went behind the sleeping Inosuke and Zenitsu and got close to their ears which visibly confused Haku.

" YOUTH!!!!!!" I shouted beside them in the same manner as the overly enthusiastic green beast of Konohagakure in their ears.

" Eeekkkk..." Zenitsu screamed while he jumped in the air.

' Holy Shit he literally jumped the height of a tree. So that wasn't just comic relief in the series?Huh, didn't think fear would be such a great motivator for the guy.' I thought while already forming plans to use this technique to train Zenitsu with a evil grin on my face.

Inosuke who was already used to being woken up like that just rubbed his eyes and stood up.

Zenitsu on the other hand gave another loud scream while looking at my grinning face.

' Huh, why is he afraid of me?' I thought while touching my face.

"Okay everyone now calm down and grab your swords." I said while starting to destroy our traces of camping.

I didn't want to leave a trail for the demons to follow because even though I was sure of me and Inosuke being safe I couldn't say the same about Zenitsu's and Haku's safety and I don't wanna take chances.

As for the demon following us, well his body will go into my inventory.

" Okay everyone there's a demon following us." I said.

Haku immediately tightened his grip on his sword and Inosuke also got into his fighting stance.

" H-how are you s-so sure?" Zenitsu asked while trembling.

I facepalmed while looking at the yellow haired boy in front of me.

" Just use your hearing to check. That asshole isn't even trying to hide himself. For second checking Inosuke use your sensory abilities."

Zenitsu tried to focus his hearing and even though Inosuke believed in me he still decided to feel the air in the surroundings.

" Yes, I can feel someone in the trees to our south and he's not moving from his position. Most likely due to the Sun." Inosuke said.

I just nodded to Inosuke and looked at Zenitsu but seeing his pale face I'm quite sure that he already confirmed about the demon.

' Despite his sensory ability being as strong and in certain cases even more useful than Inosuke's why does he never use it?Ahh guess I gotta train him in that regard.' I thought while looking at the pale faced Zenitsu.

" The demon has already killed at least a couple of people, I can tell that much from his stench. He isn't that wary about us and most likely thinks of us as canon fodder like the other demon slayers he has killed till now."

" He'll attack as soon as the Sun goes down so we gotta wait here. The moonlight will provide better visibility and we still don't know a lot about the specifics of the Demon so going in the forest might give him an advantage."

"I am quite sure about the behaviour of the demon. As far as I'm concerned the demon is overconfident in his regeneration. Try to show as little change in your behaviour as you can and remain vigilant."

The sun was already hidden behind the woods now and we most likely had less than 10 minutes of sunlight available to us, so I just gathered all our belongings and everyone took their katanas out ready to move at a moment's notice.

*Demon's POV*

"Oh it seems that one of those bugs seems to have noticed me?. Well whatever." I thought while licking my lips.

These demon slayer brats are always so haughty and proud of there abilities thinking that they can contend with our abilities.

'Hmmph, if it was in the past I would've still been a little wary but the brats I ate this time were quite delicious and I already got my blood demon art from that shitty guy. If I can survive against that guy from Muzan samas army then except the Sun there's nothing that can harm me.' I thought while looking at those bugs in contempt.

I was captured and sealed in these mountains so many years ago that I don't even remember the outside world. If it wasn't for those people sending us these bugs as offerings twice a year I would've become mad from hunger.

I started walking towards the bugs and I could see one yellow haired boy being scared silly seeing me walking towards them. The sun had already set and all the small wounds these bugs would inflict on me would be healed from the nutrients I would get from drinking their blood.

'The despair these bugs show when seeing me devouring their bodies is the best' I thought while chuckling.

' Huh why are there only 3 of them? Did the other one run away from fe--' that's all I could think of before I felt lighter in the left side of my body.

' Huh?' I thought while looking at the left side of my body.

"Sup bitch."

*Asura's POV

The look the demon had while looking at it's left side was quite funny. Thinking themselves to be invincible against others is a major flaw in the demons.

" Inosuke! Kuiton!!" I shouted and Inosuke dashed towards the startled demon and cut off his right leg and then retreated to my side.

' Huh, well we never had the time to come up with a full fledged code so gotta work on that. But still it seems training with Inosuke for years has helped our fighting style.' I thought while smiling at my younger brother totally not noticing the demon who just lost two limbs and is in a state of shock.

" Nice work bro the meat was perfectly sliced. Now protect the back. We don't want this guy sneaking behind us do we?" I said to which Inosuke gave a bright smile and then moved backwards.

' Ahh my brother is still as cute as ever.'

"Earth to Demon, Earth to Demon. Are you alive?" I said towards the demon in front of me who just now got out of it's stupor.

I could've easily cut off his head but I still wanted to know if saving his remains would be worth it or not.

" You bastards I'll kill you!!!" The demon said and started to run towards us.

But I wasn't gonna give it a chance to get us out of this clearing and neither was I gonna let it come near my brother.

I immediately dashed towards it but there was one thing I didn't calculate and that was my own speed. I had been so busy with improving my stats that I had forgotten to get a grasp on my own strength. Previously all I had to just make a straight dash.

I ran farther than I intended to and the demon smirked.

"Blood demon art" The demon suddenly said as his right arm turned completely into sharpened bone and moved towards me.

Even though I wasn't in complete control of my strength right now, my dexterity was also high enough. So I simply readjusted my katana and dodged the attack while cutting the demon's body in half from his stomach.

' Phew, the guys aim was completely off due to Inosuke cutting off his leg. Well looks like I gotta get my brother a gift.'

I didn't wanna use any Breath forms because even though it would've made the fight easier it would've also affected my stamina and in a mountain full of demons where the air is already so thin, that one mistake can affect my battle strength and there's nothing like overcaution. There's only 'Alive' or 'Dead'.

The demon was flailing his arms around while his body was trying to recover. He was using any words he possibly could to curse us.

'Hmm guess my sword isn't that bad.' I thought while moving towards the demon. He most likely had no experience with his blood demon arts judging by his primitive usage.

' Really these are such overpowered abilities but they never use them correctly but how the fuck did this guy get a Kimimaro like ability in the first place? He could still be the death of most of the people here except those in my group and a few others like Tanjiro. Weren't the Demons supposed to get their blood demon arts after eating hundreds of Humans?' I thought while looking pitifully towards the demon and cut off his remaining arm and leg.

I just stores his limbs in my 'INVENTORY' and then cut off his head.

*Zenitsu's POV*

"Wh-what just happened?" I thought while looking at the decomposing demon in front of me.

' It didn't even take them 2 minutes to kill that monster.'

I know I am pathetic, I never have been able to be as brave as others neither have I been a genius in my Breath style but even I had never seen such raw talent.

A demon who made me shudder in fear didn't even faze the people in front of me.

'Are they that strong or am I that weak?' I once again doubted my abilities.

But I couldn't keep thinking for long as suddenly I heard two sounds approaching us fast and there was another dragging sound.

I maybe weak but even I wanna do something to help others. I wanna help these people to the best of my ability.

"Th-there's something approaching."

" What?" Inosuke asked loudly.

" I said there's something approaching us." That got everyone on high alert.

*Asura's POV*

"There's a smell of blood. Everyone behind me and ready your stances." I said as everyone immediately came behind me and now I didn't even have to use my sense of smell as I could easily see the trees shaking from the footsteps of whatever was approaching us. I tried to still smell to find if it was a friend or foe.
