14 Chapter 13 - Confronting First Prince and Houtian Cultivator
"Prince Dominic we have been searching this accursed forest for a month and there is still no sign of that beast, what if the beast has been captured by another kingdom or it's dead? I don't believe that old man could have failed to capture a mere Body Refining Beast,"
Mumbled a Seventh Rank Qi Circulation Cultivator, usually these Qi Circulation cultivators enjoyed a lavish life full of comfort in the Capital, where they can get any women they want no matter her opinion on the matter as no one would defy the Azure Emperor, even if it's a mere subordinate never mind a fairly high ranking one such as themselves.
Having to camp in this place for over a month, where there are no women present alongside them having to sleep rough in discomfort has made these men used to their current lifestyles extremely dissatisfied.
"If you want to go to my Father and tell him the reason we failed to retrieve the beast is that your thinking with your penis, then be my guest." Sneered First Prince Dominic accompanied by the roaring laughter of the other cultivators causing the cultivator who made that comment becoming embarrassed.
"Silence, something is coming." The First Ranked Houtian cultivator said urgently, causing the original laughing cultivators to turn serious.
After all, a Houtian cultivator's senses are much stronger than theirs, and he was the one they were relying on for tracking the beast.
Unfortunately, every time they believed they came close the beast they found nothing, the beast seemingly quickly disappearing from sight.
After a few minutes a large Draconic beast emerged in front of them an intimidating aura radiating from its every move, azure scales littered its body glimmering like sapphire gemstones against the scorching sunlight.
As its gazed emerged on the cultivators fear immediately swept across them, as a horrifying amount of killing intent was shot towards them.
The cultivators suddenly felt like this was a beast of death, coming for each of their lives! Who said this beast was a Body Refining Beast?
Just by its aura alone feels many times stronger than them.
Prince Dominic with a much more stronger sense of will than the other cultivators straight away gathered his mind, they have a Houtian cultivator present how could a mere Qi Circulation Realm beast take his life with his present, was the thought only keeping him from shaking from fear.
Although he had a stronger will than the others, after all, he was still a genius prince spoiled since birth and he has never been in a true life and death situation where his life is genuinely threatened.
This was the first time ever where the Prince felt his life was truly in danger.

Prince Dominic assured the cultivators calming them down.
That's right! We are all Rank Seven and Rank Nine Qi Circulation Cultivators, a mere beast scares us!

A Ninth-Ranked Cultivator just terrified a moment ago, suddenly feels an impulse to kill the beast himself for losing his face.
"Prince hand me the beast enslaving talisman, I will do this myself. Although I may leave a few injuries on the beast." The Ninth-Ranked Cultivator said, instantly wanting to regain his reputation and repay this beast for scaring him a moment ago.
"Sure" Prince Dominic smiled, delighted there is a fool willing to be a sacrifice to test this beast combat strength. However, as Prince Dominic taken out the beast enslaving talisman and was about to hand it over, a suffocating amount of killing intent leaked on him.
A furious expression emerged in Dana's eyes at remembering the invasion of her soul from the attempted enslaving from the old man.
Without hesitation Dana charges at the cultivators fully intent on ripping them to pieces.
A few cultivators snorting at the beast, believing that it is only a Rank 7 Qi Circulation beast overestimating itself to much. Launching an attack at full strength, fully intent on crippling the beast. With full faith that they will instantly defeat the beast, they look at it with contempt.
However, this goes not at all to their plan as they were immediately ripped in half as Dana launched her bloodline ability Ice Claw, which cleanly cut through the cultivators Qi killing them instantly.
The same expression remained decapitated heads, seemingly not even realizing how they were killed.
Terrified expressions emerged on the cultivators face, the First Prince even among them, in fact, the only one calm is Mr Li the First-Ranked Houtian Cultivator acting as the First Prince's bodyguard.
"Let me handle the beast." Mr Li calm voice sounded, making the cultivators which were originally terrified out of their wits, relieved that the beast the object of their terror will be removed.
"Take it down quickly, my imperial Father must be getting impatient." The First Prince demanded, wanting to take this beast down as quickly as possible.
"As you command my lord." Mr Li voice sounded as he walked towards the beast.
Dana's ferocious eyes stared at Mr Li as they confront each other. A Rank 1 Houtian Cultivator, I should be able to handle him, maybe this will be a good way to test my soul cultivation method Dana thought.
Mr Li instantly launched a martial skill with his full power, intending to end this fight quickly and Dana responded with Ice Claw again as their attacks slammed into each other.
Mr Li is sent back three steps a shocked expression emerged in his eyes as Dana hadn't moved a single step from the confrontation, this indirectly shows she is stronger than him!
The First Prince and his entourage relieved expression turning back into complicated looks.
Mmm. Just from one confrontation doesn't mean the beast will necessarily defeat me, after all its a battle of attrition.
With my higher cultivation base naturally, she will lose her Qi before me, reconciled Mr Li, the shock of losing out to a beast a full realm below him replaced by the assurance of his victory.

Coming up with a strategy in mind, Mr Li and Dana launch attack after attack towards each other, causing the ground to quake after every time they meet.
The longer the battle continues, the more grave Mr Li expression grows. How much Qi does this beast have?
Just as he was in thought, a searing pain emerged from the depth of his soul as he froze. Given the opportunity for Dana's tail to pierce his heart, instantly ripping it out of his chest killing him.
After Mr Li's lifeless body fell to the ground, the First Prince and his entourage become alarmed, and without hesitation ran away in the opposite direction but before they can far a terrifying about of Cold Qi launches at them freezing the human experts in Ice Sculptures.
The First Prince sank to his knees as if begging for mercy, a hopeless look in his face.
"Please... don't kill me!" He is a Prince! He doesn't want to die, how long was he called the future of the Empire? The biggest and brightest start in the Azure continent in which no one was his match, he has trampled over many in his years of life, killing and scheming his way to the top.
He mercilessly killed his younger brother when he thought he was a threat in taking the throne of him due to having the similar talent level to him, all of his work was going to mean nothing if he dies! He is going to be Emperor, he can't die like this!
A cold expression emerged in Dana's eyes, not again she voiced constantly in her head. As her claw descended towards the First Prince's neck severing his head off his neck.
After the death of all the human cultivators present, Dana searched their belongings finding many Qi Circulation cores above Ranked Qi Circulation Realm and above! They must have been busy whilst they were here, Dana thought.
The First Prince and his group were at Devil's Peak for a month, so in that time whilst looking for Dana they still gathered a large number of beast cores, who knew that all of their efforts would end up benefiting Dana instead.
Storing all of the valuables in her space ring, Dana left finding a quiet place to cultivate, unaware she killed the Azure Emperors favourite son and heir, which would complexly shock everyone in Azure Continent! Many rejoiced of his death but kept it in their hearts, aware that if the Azure Emperor found out he will surely have their heads!
Whilst the Azure Emperor was so enraged that he swore he will butcher this beast even if he has to slaughter his way through the entirety of Devils Peak!
