Arne looked at the body of Folke, His eyes gleaming,

Bo looked at his friend and said ``You're sick y'know?``

Arne looked at Bo and chuckled saying ``I haven't contracted a disease yet.``

Both Arne and Bo started laughing, until Bo stopped short when he heard a snapping of twigs behind him. Then a shout as a woman in brigandine armor and a cloak rushed forward in front of him with a shortsword. She used the sword short and did a diagonal strike aimed at Arne's neck.

Arne responded with an spin unsheathing of his sword into a diagonal cut aimed at her sword, warding off the attack he took steps back while Bo began to unsheathe his sword and shield.

Bo recognized the women's clothing as a lighter version of an advanced infantrymen from the fight, Most of the other infantrymen didn't have armor and only had spears or swords. She was clearly part of an advanced squad or possibly a unknown as she did have a brigandine but she didn't have the other parts of the armor which made her look the part of an infantryman. Bo's thoughts were cut short when.

The women took two steps back and shouted ``Kill them!``

Responding to her cries four men came from the shrubbery and the bushes with their short sword drawn and in a similar outfit to the women. The first man shouted and ran toward Bo, Bo had already unsheathed his sword and shield. placing his shield in a diagonal direction pointed toward the man and his sword behind it.

As the man approached he raised his shortsword and did a diagonal slash down toward bo's neck. Bo interrupted leaning forward under his shield with a strike with his shields edge toward the man's arm rendering the mans strike useless as it falls on the shield followed with his sword which thrusted into the mans neck, he'd do a swift twist of his body to face another causing the sword to carry the man down to the ground.

Arne was also fighting another fight at the same time, the women came forward with a careful thrust which made arne take a few steps back out of range of her, whilst keeping his eyes on the other men. . .

Bing, Bling . . .

Folke heard a sound in his sleep, he couldn't feel his body and he couldn't move either. The only thing he could move was his eyes and even then he could only see black when suddenly.In front of Folke's eyes he sees a message in front of him.

`Do you want to live?`

(Y/N)

What? Who wouldn't want to live? All of his life he just wanted to live, even as a child he did all of the work of the strong since he didn't want to have a tough experience in life. He beat people who were weaker than him just to satisfy the other more powerful person. He ran away from the battlefield to live and he still wants to live! He cursed the knight that followed him and dealt him that wound which placed him in this dire state and he cursed his captain who placed him an inexperienced novice in the front lines. He just wants to live. Folke after thinking all of this said in his mind``Yes.`

After folke thought of this a female voice filled his head ``User has obtained usage of power from the system.`` and the message in front of him changed to these words.

`System?` he didn't understand the females use of the word and only knew that he obtained power from something called the system. With this as thought he suddenly regained his body sensors and could finally see color other than the system words.

He saw the white words of the system accompanied behind it was the dirt and a fresh coating of blood as the sound of fighting filled his ears. After being in such a situation before where he had been beaten senseless and had to play dead. He kept still and waited for the system to speak once more.

``The system is currently nullifying the pain that you are experiencing and is healing the external damaged received so the adventure may begin.`` The female voice said slowly in his head.

``During this period the system will not be available. Do not move as this is happening.`` She continued.

After the voice said this, Folke felt hot as his body was being healed from all the cut he has received and all the bugs that bored into his skin.

Bo and Arne have been fighting the attackers for some time now, Even though they were outnumbered two to one they were young fighters who were called the future pride of Folke's village. In the village Folke lived strength and fighting force is everything. Bo and Arne are actually the bosses of Folke who made Folke do a variety of errands for them while he was in the village and since Folke who was outnumbered and didn't know how to fight at all unless it was beating someone else up with a group. He couldn't use his natural talent in strength at all to defeat the two.

Bo had already killed a man and was facing another man, the other man did not approach Bo and waited. But Bo knew the man's plan: the cracking of a twig earlier informed Bo that another man who was hiding got his position blown so they had to kill Bo and Arne quickly in order to not be noticed. So Bo rushed forward with his shield in front of him and the sword behind it.

The man raised his shortsword and did a diagonal cut, Bo raised his shield and did a diagonal strike at the same time aimed at the stationed leg. The man couldn't see bo's sword as it was obscured by vision by bo's shield which was now in his face but he could feel it .He fell down shortly as the sword forced him to kneel. Bo raised the sword from his leg and did a horizontal cut accompanied with a spin which split the man's unprotected neck. The spin made Bo able to see just in time the second man's attack.

He raised his shield blocking the attack and pushed forward with a strike to his arm opposite which wasn't heavily armored as he thought it was. Causing the man to reel back in pain holding his arm.

At the same time Arne was fighting a two v one battle with just a short sword. He was the worser of the two and had recognized Bo already as a better fighter. But that didn't mean he couldn't fight the women and the other man in front of him.

Arne made his distance between the two known, his steps made it so that he wasn't too close to one or the other and when the two made moves he took steps back retreating out of the way. However this was made difficult as the women made it hard for him.

As Arne attempted to do this move again, he was moving away from the man when he saw the woman rush forward with a strike aimed at his neck. Causing Arne to do another strike to block the attack. But as he did this he saw her change through the attack making it into a thrust.

The two swords collided, her sword having more leverage then Arne's so she wrenched his blade down and did a diagonal strike aimed at his neck. They were both in constant motion during this time but Arne stopped and leaned back causing the sword to just go past his face.

But this also caused Arne to fall on the ground as the girl who take advantage of his leaning and obstruction of vision kicked him in the chest shortly after. His sword flew from his hand as he fell hard on the ground causing him to yell in shock.

This was cut shortly and turned into gurgling as the girl had already ended his life, turning her blade reverse gripped she did a thrust to his neck she twisted it to stop the gurgling and his suffering.
