Everything was going smooth now. Him taunting you on every mistake you make, you teasing him with the other members, laughing on his comments on the other member's activity.
you couldn't help but fall deeper in love every time you see him.
but how long could this happiness of your last?
BTS was invited in the kmusic party and you as a PA had to go with them.
"are you going there wearing this?" you turned around seeing taehyung frowning at you.
you gulped eyeing him from head to toe. It was your first time seeing him in the suit in person. And he was looking damnnn..
"what are you staring at?" he grinned when he saw you staring at him with your jaw dropped.
"w-what's wrong with this?" you asked stuttering in embarrassment and turning your gaze away.
"are you serious? You think its okay to wear jeans and sweatshirt for a professional party?" he sighed and grabbed your wrist "come with me" he said dragging you with him.
"noona, can you help me?" he asked a older female staff for the help and she nodded. She did your makeover and got you changed in a black dress, matching the outfits with the members.
taehyung chuckled at you as you pouted looking at that uncomfortable dress.
"lets go" he grabbed your hand softly, making you blush.
reaching the Party, you all gathered around.
he facepalmed when he saw you running away to the food counter. He found you interesting as he always wanted to be friends with someone who is more childish than him.
"it feels like, I'm babysitting her" he chuckled.
-he felt a tap on his shoulder, so he turned around to see.
-his smile faded as he saw her, irene, his ex girlfriend.
"long time no see?" she smiled at him.
-he faked a smile as all the memories with her started flashing in his mind.
it wasnt a mutual break up. He loved her more than anything, but she left him for her career. He missed her everyday and it hurt him a lot.
"ah.. Yeah?" he replied avoiding her gaze. "you're looking handsome as always" she smiled.
"thanks" he coldly responded. Looking at her smile, he knew she was happy. He knew that she wasn't serious from the start and that he was the only one who was in pain. He knew that he was the only one waiting for the things to be normal again.
that cold talk continued making the environment around him uncomfortable.
you tasted the desert and was so impressed that you wanted taehyung to taste it too.
you turned to look for him and saw him standing with a girl.
you recognised her, as Irene was your favorite female idol.
but you noticed the look on taehyung's face. "what's going on?" you mumbled.
"she's Irene, taehyung's ex girlfriend" yoongi said as he heard you mumbling, standing beside you with his hands in his pocket. You turned to him with shock in your eyes.
"also his first love" yoongi continued. You felt as if your heart broke down into 1000 pieces.
"ahhh.. I still remember the day" yoongi sighed. You didn't wanted to hear that, you wanted to yell at him to stop him. Your eyes were fixed on those two who were standing close to each other and talking with smiles on their face.
"it was around an year ago, when our group wasnt that famous. She chose her career over tae. That day... He came back to dorm all drenched in water. But we still were able to figure that he was crying. He asked me if he did right by not stopping her or begging her to stay. He asked if he'll be alright. Poor tae, he loved her so much. But looking at him right now, i wonder if he's still over her." these words of yoongi broke you even more. A tear escaped from your eyes.
you suddenly covered your face with your palm, hoping that yoongi didn't notice it.
"ah.. I guess... My eyes are paining due to the desert i ate.. I should go out to get some fresh air." you laughed nervously and left as you didn't wanted to see them together anymore.
"stupid girl" yoongi chuckled.
it was getting harder for you to hold your tears back after you realised that his heart already belongs to someone who is more prettier, famous and successful.
while standing at the end of the empty lobby, you started crying harded. "even though its a dream" you said in between your sobs "it hurts".
when the music changed into a slower one, Irene asked taehyung for a dance "like old days?" she smiled at him.
"sorry but i feel sick, i need some fresh air" taehyung rejected her and left as it was already suffocating for him.
he saw you standing at the end of lobby and smiled as he started taking steps towards you.
he stopped when he felt a grab on his wrist. "i know you don't like to see me anymore" Irene said turning him around. "i realized that i was wrong... I know you still love m-" she was about to complete her sentence but was cut off in between by taehyung. "no.. I'm sorry but someone is waiting for me" he said removing her hand.
he turned his face to you and smiled. Irene followed his gaze and was scared by thinking about what he could possibly mean. "kim taehyung" she said looking back at him.
he started taking steps back from her, 'I'm sorry, Irene.. But it's time to let us go, farewell, my first love' he said in his mind, giving her the sweetest smile he could. And turned around to walk to you.
"KIM TAEHYUNG" she yelled as she saw him going away from her. It was loud enough that made you turn to her voice.
you saw taehyung coming in your direction.
Before, Irene could reach him, he grabbed your wrist and pulled close making you flinch.
he smashed his lips on yours. Your body freezed and your eyes went wide in shock. The sensation of his touch made your brain go blank. He was kissing passionately, with his eyes closed.
he pulled away, looking at you he smiled and said "did you waited long?"
you were still in shock and was not able to move.
