9 Episode 9

Dan and Allison kissed.

They slowly stopped kissing. And Dan smiled towards Allison. She looks nervous. "Take me home", Allison said.

"Can I call you Yeon-joo now?", asked Dan.

"*sighs* Alright.. I've been wishing that someday there would be someone calls me by my real name..", said Yeon-joo.

Dan laughs and Yeon-joo staring at him seriously. He quickly hold Yeon-joo's hand and take Yeon-joo to his car.

"Today is our day one as a couple.", said Dan suddenly when he saw Yeon-joo stared at him weirdly when he was holding her hand.

Dan sent Yeon-joo until her apartment. "Thank you. Goodnight, Dan.", said Yeon-joo.

"Wait.", replied Dan. Dan moves forward and kissed her head. "Goodnight, Yeon-joo..", Dan smiled.

Yeon-joo smiled too and went inside. Dan went home.

*About going to sleep ..... *

Dan messaged Yeon-joo, "Goodnight, Yeon-joo. Sleep tight."

Yeon-joo excited and replied Dan, "You too.<3".

Dan gets up from his bed when Yeon-joo replied him with heart emoji. "She's driving me crazy".

In the morning ...

Yeon-joo was on phone to Mr Han.

"Old man, I won't be in office today.", said Yeon-joo.

"But Yeon-joo, you know, today is that ....",said Mr Han.

Mr Han was not able to finish his sentence but Yeon-joo already hang up. " ...day", said Mr Han.

"Aisshhhh .! She treated me like her brother ! *pissed off ", said Mr Han. "Happy birthday, Yeon-joo", Mr Han continued while smiling.

Yeon-joo drove her car to somewhere. She drove her car to her father's grave.

'Kim Nam Ryung'

"Hi, Appa.. How's your doing? I'm doing just fine....", said Yeon-joo. Yeon-joo puts flower on the grave. "I miss you, Appa.", Yeon-joo tears drop slowly.

*** Flashback ***

"Kim Yeon-joo, my daughter !", said Yeon-joo's father. Yeon-joo will hug her father whenever her father called her after he back from home.

Yeon-joo's father died because of overwork. Her father was busy earning money but he always have his time for his children. Yeon-joo's father died when Yeon-joo was 13 years old. He always trust his children because he believed that his children know what is between right and wrong.

Before he die, he said something to Yeon-joo as Yeon-joo took care of him at the hospital.

"Yeon-joo, my precious daughter... Remember my advice .... that you will married someone because of love and not because of money ... Alright? Appa is okay... Remember to always be happy okay ?", Yeon-joo's father breathe his last moment.

"Dad?Appa?Appa? No, don't leave me!",Yeon-joo cried hard.

The doctor barged in as they heard Yeon-joo screaming. "Please save my father...Please...", said Yeon-joo while crying.

When the doctor annouced her father's death, Yeon-joo was not able to stand up anymore. Its feels like she lost her other self. Her mom and her family also cried.

"I won't leave you alone", Hae-kyong said.

*** End of flashback ***

Yeon-joo pissed off. "that jerk".

"Appa, I can't be happy without you all this time... But Appa, there's someone come into my life and I was happy everytime I with him.".

When Yeon-joo was on her way back to her car, she saw Dan standing in front of her car. He brought a cake to Yeon-joo. The cake was decorated with a girl sitting on a bench and there's a man watching her from behind. "Happy birthday, Kim Yeon-joo.". Yeon-joo smiled.

"I haven't celebrate my birthday since I was 19. My 18 birthday was the last one I've celebrated.", said Yeon-joo.

"I know.. Right now, make a wish..", Dan replied. Yeon-joo made a wish and blow up the candles. "I'm officially 28 years old now.".

"What is your wish?", asked Dan. "What?", asked Yeon-joo.

"I am Jang Tae-hee.", said Dan. Yeon-joo looks cool. "Yes, I know. So, can I call you, Tae-hee oppa?", said Yeon-joo while laughing.

Tae-hee/Dan looks confused. "How...did you know?". Yeon-joo said when she met Jin-young, she suddenly remembered about Jin-young's friend. Yeon-joo said that she always heard Jin-young called Tae-hee's name. So, she quickly looking for Tae-hee's photos in their university's magazine. And that's how she found out that Dan is Jang Tae-hee. To confirm that Dan is Jang Tae-hee, she asked Jin-young. Jin-young told Yeon-joo that Tae-hee likes Yeon-joo since university.

Tae-hee speechless. "That bastard".

Yeon-joo kissed Tae-hee's cheeks when he was pissed off by Jin-young. "I'm sorry for not realizing who's always protecting me in silent... And thank you for remembering my birthday...", said Yeon-joo.

Tae-hee smiled.

He took Yeon-joo home. When they reached Yeon-joo's apartment, they met Hae-kyong at the parking lot. Hae-kyong was here to wish for Yeon-joo's birthday. Yeon-joo asked Tae-hee to wait for her in her apartment because she wants to talk with Hae-kyong.

Hae-kyong talks with Yeon-joo.

"Happy birthday, Yeon-joo.", said Hae-kyong. He gives Yeon-joo a flower.

"Thank you", said Yeon-joo.

"Why did you....", asked Hae-kyong.

"Hae-kyong, please..... Just leave me alone now just like you used to be...", Yeon-joo continued.

"Yeon-joo, but... Why did you pushed all of us?", asked Hae-kyong.

"Ask them.", said Yeon-joo with serious voice. Yeon-joo walked away.

"WAIT.!", Hae-kyong grabbed her hand.

"Let go." said Yeon-joo. Hae-kyong released his grab.

"Ask them what they've done to me.", said Yeon-joo and she walked away.

Hae-kyong tried to chase Yeon-joo but he receives a call from his chief. "Detective Jung, where are you? We're received a new case.", said his chief.

"Alright, I'll come right now.", said Hae-kyong. Hae-kyong is working as a detective at Gangnam Police Station now.

At Yeon-joo's apartment .....

Tae-hee was waiting for Yeon-joo nervously. He kept walking here and there as he's worried about Yeon-joo. "Who is that man?", "Why did he looks at Yeon-joo differently?", "but I cannot ask Yeon-joo these questions.".

Tae-hee startled when Yeon-jo came in. Yeon-joo knows that Tae-hee was curious about Hae-kyong.

"That man is Jung Hae-kyong. My first love.", said Yeon-joo.

Tae-hee surprised as he thought that he's no match with Hae-kyong. Hae-kyong was Yeon-joo's first love.

Yeon-joo kissed Tae-hee when she realized that Tae-hee felt down about Hae-kyong. "He was my past. We're never been couple. Its just that we're having a crush with each other back then". said Yeon-joo. Tae-hee felt a little worries when Yeon-joo said that. "I have you now", Yeon-joo continued. Tae-hee smiled and kissed Yeon-joo's lips. "I love you, Yeon-joo. I realized that I haven't said that to you.", said Tae-hee. "me too.", Yeon-joo smiled.

Tae-hee gave couple bracelet to Yeon-joo. "This showed that you're mine.", said Tae-hee.

Tae-hee and Yeon-joo are having their dinner outside. At a pork restaurant.. They're eating well.

"Allison?", a voice..

Yeon-joo turned her back and saw a man standing in front of her. "Kim Yeon-joo", said that man.

"Park Myung-dae.", Yeon-joo replied.
