"We are certainly confident, the Minnesota Timberwolves team is an excellent opponent and they are certainly a good team for advancing into the playoffs, but we are confident in being able to win and advance to the next phase of the playoffs."

"Jake, do you think that if you win the NBA title with the Los Angeles Lakers team you will win the MVP award?"

"I don't know, a lot of the players who were chosen as the MVP of the season didn't win the NBA title and some didn't even make it to the NBA Finals, but I think I have a chance of winning that award this season."
