STRANDED

I really wasn't expecting to wake up in a forest not knowing who the hell I am. Atleast I knew my name "Astria." I didn't remember much but I did gain a guide.

"Greetings young one, the names Nike (Goddess of Victory), you are currently in a game like world, and you are expected to finish a mysterious training. The only way to leave this world is through The Green Palace."

My first thought wasn't what Nike expected because actually I couldn't believe I was supposed to enter the jungle unprepared. "What the fuck."

Nike snickered at my plight, I had to say the jungle was huge from what I could see, the trees were tall as if struggling to reach the sky.

The coverage was not too thick so some light peaked trough the gaps, If not for the strange circumstances, this place would have been one of my favorite views.

Astria couldn't believe she was supposed to

enter this beautiful yet dangerous forest without so much as a backup or plan. She immediately taught of her guide Nike. She should surely be of some help.

"I'll only be your guide, you have to help yourself." Nike said calmly.

The trees were of different colours, so far I had come across red, pink, blue even green.

I had been walking for a long time and luckily hadn't encountered anything that might have thought me as food but alas I spoke too soon.

"ROAR!!!" If the animal wanted my attention he sure got it cause man, was he loud. There was a ringing in my ear for a short time, when it stopped I was immediately alert and instantly checked for the source of the sound.

There it was in it's majesty, a huge freaking

golden Lion. From it's mane to its tail was an

uncanny gold colour.

Goldie seemed not to see me as a threat but rather as lunch. Even I thought I was lunch cause first off, I just got here and I didn't even know whether I could fight or possessed any abilities.

With fear in my voice I called for Nike

"Nike you couldn't have possibly brought me here to die right ?".

I began to panic as Goldie stalked towards me measuring which side to eat first.

"Yes and no " Nike said seemingly puzzled by the appearance of this character in the outer zone.

"I mean I didn't bring you here and you might actually die." Nike says nonchalantly.

"I don't know anything about this place. I yell. "What I'm I meant to do" Goldie suddenly stopped moving and stares at me. I move back cautiously, not trusting the creature.

"All individuals have abilities. An emergency skill has now been activated,you might just survive this encounter." Nike says seriously.

"Simulator engaged." She adds before I let out a breath of relief. The surroundings turned dark , then, as if someone hit a light switch, it reappeared, along with the Lion, who seemed smaller than before.

" What's going on? " I ask a bit confused.

" Simulation mode lets you control your situation, at least to a point. The Lion has been restricted to your current level." Nike says.

"Huh?" I say confused
