4 Chapter 4

Ren walked with heavy steps, the battle scars around him had fearsome momentum radiating off them. He then easily walked through the 10 meter tall doorway, and sighed, feeling a little happy he was not a red dragon, both the dream dragon and soul dragon are considered 'Petite' among true dragons.

Even the most infamous small chromatic dragon, white dragons, are nearly three times his size. Ren then went through the doorway, there were many skeletons in varying sizes, from human size to tens of meters tall. Recalling some things from the dragon inheritance, he roughly guessed what this place was.

He then finally came to the throne room. He immediately held his breath. On a dazzling gold throne sat a man, he was only around the size of a human, 1.98 meters, but the heavy pressure originated from this very man. At this moment, Ren made his decision on his alternate form, because this man was a Titan.

The titans were comparable to true dragons, and their greatest enemy. Titans had an ability to match the dragon body called 'Titan body' that increased strength, endurance, defense, and weight, as well as adding 'Titan Might' that was a counter to dragon aura. They were also supreme masters of lightning, using it as a weapon and to refine their bodies.

Titans also have an ability called 'Advanced Growth' which is a semi-passive ability, meaning they can arbitrarily control it in a minimum to maximum level. Which is different from the passive 'Growth' ability that cannot be controlled. Also, while growth is multiplicative, advanced growth is exponential.

Titans in their minimum form are the same size as humans, but at their largest can be almost a kilometer tall. Ren pushed past the pressure, setting his eyes on the man, and activated his alternate form ability. Yet, when he activated it, it failed. Consternation was written across his scaly face.

He started searching the dragon inheritance before he came to a conclusion, some creatures are just too complex, like the titans. Ren's thoughts started to spin, before inspiration came. One of the lexicon's abilities, Digitization, allows him to make models of real world things, and allows him to understand them completely.

So, instead of alternate form, he used digitization on the titan. His soul energy storage started to decrease rapidly, 1%, 2%, 5%, 50%, it finally stopped around 95% of the soul pond was drained, leaving a hollow feeling in his body. Yet, he finally had a complete titan model in his soul.

This time, when he used alternate form, he used it on this model instead of the titan body, and there was an immediate effect. His dragon body shrunk at a speed visible to the eyes. Like it was compressing, and what came out was a man, standing at a perfect 1.98 meters tall, with long ash gray hair, and stunning purple eyes, his face was the epitome of handsome, and his body was like a chiseled greek god.

Three abilities started to form in Ren's soul, Level 1 Titan Body, Level 1 Advanced Growth, and Level 1 Lightning Manipulation. When he saw the third one, he twisted his lips a bit, he was hoping for affinity instead of manipulation. Affinity allows him to use lightning spells, while manipulation only allows him to control existing lightning.

After he transformed, the pressure on him was near non-existent. Another thing was that his soul energy had increased by about 10%, there seemed to be massive amounts of free floating energy here, which Ren guessed was the attraction of the ghosts. Ren looked back up at the man, he did not dare touch him for fear of disturbing the titan might barrier.

He looked at his naked body and sighed, using one of the abilities of alternate form, a purple robe fell on his body, it had no defensive abilities and was only good for blocking sight. Ren decided to explore, with the use of the model and alternate form, he could be considered the most pure blood titan.

He first came to an area that seemed like a massive library, and his eyes lit up, he could finally use his knowledge storage ability. While digitization can make models, knowledge storage can store things like books, like a portable digital library. The only downside is that he has to be within 5 meters and it is relatively costly.

He looked at his soul pond once again, it had risen to 25%. Turning back to the library it seemed split into four parts, alchemy, runes, forging, and misc. He sighed, there were no spells here. He then started to 'download' all these books, it took about 1-3 seconds to download a book, depending on size.

He looked around the library, there had to be at least a thousand books here. He reached out to pick one book up and was startled to find that it immediately turned to dust. This nearly made his soul fly out, thankfully it was a book he already downloaded. He stood there stiffly, not daring to touch anything rashly.

He walked slowly, up and down the aisles, stopping to recover loose soul energy whenever he was too low. After several hours, did he finally get the last book, and a final count of 2352 books. It would have been faster, but he kept running out of soul energy, at one point he even turned back into a dragon and hunted the ghosts.

It took nearly 70% of the soul pond for this entire library. He got every single book. One issue that he faced though was he wanted to read the books, technically, it is directly stored in his soul, but he does not know the contents unless he reads the book, and he found that the base way the lexicon did it was similar to the dragon inheritance, and Ren found it very uncomfortable.

He thought for a bit before he turned his eyes towards the digitization ability, making models is only a portion of its power. He thought for a bit before a red panel appeared before his eyes, he immediately started to laugh. He fiddled around with it a bit before finally being satisfied.

Now, in front of him is a pale white panel, with several tabs, 'Profile', 'Skills', 'Models', 'Search' and 'Library'. He is now a man with a system! Though it is a mere manifestation using the lexicon, he was happy with it. In the top right of the screen was a rectangle with several bars, and next to it was a percentage number.

This was an exact measurement of his soul pond. For the profile tab, it showed a full 3D model of himself, better than any mirror, for both the titan and dragon form. It was here that he truly saw what he looked like and was stunned. Though he can see a semblance of himself when he was human, it is still a far distance away.

For he was too handsome, without any obvious defects. He looked like a righteous hero from a story book. Even his dragon form can be called super handsome by dragon standards. Dark purple scales covered his body, four legs with five black claws each. A long snout with light purple eyes. Dual ash gray horns, along with small ash gray spines that ran down his back to his tail.

Two words, Fierce and handsome!
