1 The Beginning

Panic, fear, anger, sorrow, were just some of the feelings felt by the parents of three hundred and twenty children all over Nigeria as their children all simultaneously and suddenly vanished on the same day, the twentieth of November 2007, the day all of them were to turn eight, a day which will be known as the day of the Vanishing Act.

For six months large scale searches were held all over the country looking for the children with no result until one day just as they all vanished, they appeared. They appeared in their rooms all asleep with seemingly no recollection of the past six months, although there were marked differences in their attitudes, they seemed more mature, more paranoid, cases of insomnia were common amongst them, they all had a drive previously not seen in them, and strangest of all, it was reported that they would sometimes stare into the air then cock their heads as if listening to someone who wasn't there.

It took a while but all the victims of the Vanishing Act were able to successfully reintegrate back into the society, their parents put it all behind them, but unknown to them there was more than met the eye when it involved those kids, the children all three hundred and twenty of them, of both sexes, of two tribes; Yoruba and Igbo, were all entered into a grand battle royale, where the last sixteen standing would replace the gods of the nation, with the last eight remaining Igbo children replacing the Yoruba gods and vice-versa.

It has been ten years since the children re-appeared and there have been only two deaths so far, the remaining three hundred and eighteen would now battle for their lives, glory, power, respect, riches and all comforts of all life, but until then they would sweat, cry, bleed and if they aren't strong enough, they would die.
