2 Sixteen

Sapphire's Pov

Today's the day its finally my 16th birthday and I'm so excited to see what uncle Mason got me as a gift.He said he's gonna be home late from work and he has a nice surprise for me. I'm not expecting that much though. Excitement got the best of me and I decided to wait up for him which he said I shouldn't do but it was only 7:30 pm.

______*about 4 hours later*_______

Shit, I was dragged right out of my sleep.I had the most strangest dream,no it was more like a nightmare to me.the stream of sweat that was now finding its way down my spine sent a tingle through me body as I stretched to check the time on my phone.

The screen's brightness was on high and I squished my eyes shut as the rays almost blind me.I adjust my vision and it was now almost midnight.I lazily dragged the covers off of my sweaty body and went down the stairs to the kitchen to get something to drink.

I noticed Massy wasn't home yet but I still can't get how i ended up in bed,maybe he went out back I guess.My mind runs straight back to the nightmare I had earlier as I climb onto one on the counter stool.

Screams and shouts filled the streets as I watched out the window.there was monster like things everywhere,black shadow and demons I think filled the streets and the fear was growing. Its like I felt the negative energy but couldn't move a limb.

" hey you,hey girl!!!" a guy shouts towards me,somehow he got into the house."loo..lo..look behind of you!!!" he screams and I turn around.there was this really creepy looking creature with what look like black steam coming from his body,right as he was about to touch me a man figure in white with wings. Glorious god even in my dreams there's angels.I watch as hundreds of the life's that was taken on the street .  the memories of each of them starts to fill my head before I know it I'm leaking black liquid.it was streaming through my eyes my nails everywhere until I passed out.

Yea I know right weirdass dream but I couldn't see the guy in white face.it all went too fast that I can't recall most of it. I was stratled from getting deeper into my thoughts when uncle Mason touches me on the shoulder. My entire body went cold, for a minute I was blank then I was back to reality.

" hey cupcake, is everything alright?" uncle Mason says in a worried tone leaning onto the counter.I didn't answer,i couldn't I had this vision. It was like an older version of me in a really good armour and a sword a really big one with five other person beside me all of us with wings.three white wings and three black wings.

"Hey what did you see?" he asked this time walking around the counter and standing next to me.he examines my face for a while then sits on the stool to my right."Angel to Sapphire? I repeat Angel to Sapphire?" he says playfully nodging me with his elbow.

"Hey!!!" I dragged after my thoughts were interrupted. Massy was now standing looking down at me on the stool,i felt like a little flea.

" Happy birthday shortcakes!" he says pulling out a bag from behind his back and handing it to me.i was curious to see what was in it but I decided to wait.

"Thank you" i said jumping off of the stool into a warn embrace I've known since I was a baby."thank you so much " I said holding back tears but one let loose.Uncle Mason is the only family I've known. And he's my mother's cousin,i think. Why do I trust him? I don't know.
