18 Chapter 18: The news of my enemy answer

"Are you happy Wilson on what you have done." Lydia ask while she walks up beside him.

"Lydia don't start, I wish not to hear."

"No your going to hear this because of right now I am fucking confues to what going on. You just sent Victor away to god no where all alone."

Wilson turned to face Lydia.

"You want to know the reason to me this is because Victor was going to be a danger to us. A monster that can not be controlled or have the will to show mercy to anyone that stand in his way."

"Wilson you talking nonsense this is Victor we're talking about here that boy been with us for a few years and never show a damn sigh of a threat to us."

"I know Lydia, I hope that what I am saying was nonsense, but it isn't it the truth that I am seeing with my own two eyes."

Wilson and Lydia stood in silence facing each other until the one to break was Lydia.

"Victor told me not too long that he was hearing a voice in his head is this what your talking about."

"I may be apart to what I am talking about, but let us leave this discussion for another time Lydia, I am tried to keep on talking about this right now.'

"Fine, but I want to know what you know Wilson because right this moment I am still not sure on what you did was the right thing."

They were about to take their leave until something unexpected happened.

"One of the hostages have escape!." someone yelled out.

"Oh for fuck sake not noe with this."

Wilson was pleased to hear about this and began to run with his men by his to the location where the hostage was being held.

"What happened here?." Wilson asked as he saw a few men that were on guard duty lying on the ground dead.

"It seems that one hostages found a way to break free and must have attack the guards first then got away."

One of Wilson's men had answered him, but something didn't feel right to him as he looks at the scene in front of him.

This doesn't make any sense why would the one who got away not save the others and just abound them.

Not only that, but the way the guards on duty was killed it was like they didn't see it coming.

"What is going on here."

Wilson stopped his train of thought when he heard Elbert voice.

"It will seem one our hostages killed the guards and espace my lord."

"How awful that something like this had to happen, but there is nothing we can do now. I am sure who ever got away might not be able to live long out here alone."

Wilson didn't like the way Elbert was acting right now it was giving him an uneasy feeling in his gut.

"Well to make sure something like this never happens again, I'll have my man keep watch from now on."

"Don't won't be necessary my man has returned with news telling that my enemy wishes not to surrender, so these men here are useless and such that have come to that they can die."

When Elbert said that, Wilson notices the mage who talk to before made a shock expression that can mean something more behind it.

"Wait if you intend to kill them all then at least allow one to live."

"And who should I allow to live."

"The mage, he can be of use to me as he know healing magic."

Elbert began to think about it until he finally made up his mind sighing one of his men to free the mage who was then handed to Wilson.

"I am feeling a little nice, so I allow him to live in your care as mage well be yours to deal with do you understand me."

"I understand clearly my lord."

Wilson left as soon as possible leaving Elbert and his men to take care of the rest of the hostages.

Returning back to his tent Wilson immently push Gaston inside.

"Hey! I am happy you save my life, but you don't have to treat me like shit."

"Shut up, I brought you here so we can talk privately and that is I want to know what you know Gaston."

"I guess nothing get pass you, alright I talk, you saw how these men guarding us were killed right well it not true they by their own."

Wilson's attention was caught as he sat down to listen more to what Gaston had to say.

"The guy that paying you killed his own men by their own companions and they release Markus giving a sword and saying something to him as I couldn't clearly hear it."

"I can pretty guess what it could be, Elbert setup Markus making it look it was his doing and letting him go was for him to go after Victor for revenge or to say for the both of them to kill each other."

"Then what do you plan to do about it." Gaston asked Wilson, but it seemed like the man doesn't have any interest in doing anything about it.

"Nothing right now as It something, I don't have to worry about, but I let you know this when this job is done, I will kill Elbert for doing this."

Gaston felt a chill go down his back when Wilson said that while giving off a killer vibe making him not want to say anything more.

"So kept quiet about this and just do what you tell from now on."

"Right guess your my new boss then, so any chance I am going to be getting paid."

Wilson gave him cold glare his way.

"Hey I am only joking here."

"Like I said you do what I say for now until this is over."

"Yup completely understand, so what do I do now."

"For now you will rest because tomorrow we will depart to Gouseon."

Gaston fear to hear that as the kingdom of Gouseon is his home and there is nothing he can do about as he has no place or say in such matter.

A few hours have passed Markus makes his way through the woods not using the chance to stop no matter what.

"I don't know what the hell was going on, but if this a chance for me to get my revenge and to save my fellow soldiers then I am sure as hell going to do it."

Markus looks at the sword in his hand.

"Father your son going to kill the one who took your life this I swear."

Markus push himself further hoping deeply in his heart to find Victor and make him pay.

"Well it looks like I am found a village." Victor said after a day of two of traveling to where a Village was in his view of sight meaning it was not too far from him.

"I guess I rest in that Village for a bit and then keep moving on, I do hope one day to see everyone again when I am no longer a threat to them."

Victor pulled his horse to the duration to the Village where he will take a rest stop at.
