1 Chapter 1: The Abandoned Child

On a cold dark night where a young man named Victor Chandler walk alone in the dark woods as he was cold and scared because if something were to happen to the boy no one will know. He was abandoned by his Noble step-father a cold hearted man who was cruel to him and his mother when they lived together.

Now after Victor mother has passed away from a sickness that took her life. His step-father soon married another woman, who was cruel just like him not liking Victor and treating him badly. She somehow convinces Victor step-father to get rid of him even though the man made a promise to the boy mother before she died that he will take good care of him.

Seem that promise meant nothing to the man as he took everything from Victor and left him to die alone. Hours has passed as he walk feeling tired, cold, hungry and afraid not knowing what can be lurking in the woods with him.

That is when a howl was echoed throughout the woods making Victor more afraid. The boy kept walking until he heard something snap inside the woods, Victor started to run as fast as he could, once he heard that noise.

The boy wanted to get away from whatever made that noise as far as he could, for fear of his life. He hears whatever it was followed behind him, Victor didn't know what to do, he's just a boy alone in these woods and their his body, he knows that he can't out run this thing that after him or could not last long running.

So he stops looking around and the thing that caught his eye is a stick on the ground, Victor quickly grab the stick holding it like it was a sword in hand.

Victor put on a brave face awaiting for whatever to come out to show it face. When the sound of movement stop and shadowy figure appear, the boy Victor run up attacking right away with the stick at where whatever came out.

While he kept hitting at whatever was in front of him, he took a peek opening one's eyes and became shocked at what he sees. A big black Bear right in front of him and the beast does not too happy as it rises up standing on two legs coming a big scary roar at the boy.

Hearing the black bear roar completely made the boy body freeze right on the spot as he couldn't make any movement to get him as far away from the bear. The black bear look at the boy Victor ready the beast sharp claws and straight away attack him, Victor close his eyes accepting his death knowing full well that he won't live through this.

Darkness was the only thing he see until light made it way to shine away the darkness as he opened his eyes to find that he was unharmed not one scratch was on his body.

That when the boy became even more shocked when Seeing with his own two eyes a humanoid beast that standing like a human, wearing human clothes and having a face of that of a wolf with fur grey like asha and eyes red like blood,This is what people called a curse beast.

The boy wonder what happened to the Black bear that was about to kill him as he looks around noticing that the black bear head was nicely cut clean off.

The black bear body lay there lifeless on the ground where blood poured out painting the ground. Victor look back at the curse beast stand in front of him who was holding an Axe cover with a little blood.

"Hey kid you alright?you not hurt are you?." the curse beast spoke words that any human can understand from it.

Victor was too scared to answer or to stand up any longer as he passed out.

"Well shit, he passed out great, now what the hell am I going to do. I can take him back with me to camp or just leave him here.

The curse beast started thinking about it while looking at the boy, He then gave out a big sigh shaking his head.

"Well it leave a bad taste in my mouth to leave a kid alone best be taking back with me to the camp."

The curse beast grab the boy putting on his shoulder like a prey, he just hunted down, He then look a the dead black bear body.

"Hmm, it would be a waste to leave since good meat like this, I come back to it with the boys to bring this back to camp for us to eat."

He said while drooling thinking cook black bear meat as he walked back to his camp with the boy.

"Hey! Hellfang back." a man yelled out for others around him to hear as they were inside the big camp full of killers as they are merciners and Hellfang is one as well.

Hellfang enters the camp where he then became surrounded by a few merciners men.

"Good to see that your back Hellfang and who is that your carrying?."

One human man came up to Hellfang asking as he saw the boy on his shoulder.

"Oh, I saved a boy from being killed by a Black bear and speaking about a bear, you guys should really collect it body bring it back so we all can eat that tasty bear meat."

"You killed a black bear nice bear meat are damn good, where you leave it?." another one said as this person was a demi-human, one to have both features of two races

Hellfang told the guy's where he left the black bear body and so a few set out to get it and bring it back to the camp.

"Now then better find that woman, she is someone who I trust to look after this kid."

Hellfang conution on further into the camp where he was now at an area where young and beautiful women sell their services to the man in camp and make some money.

Hellfang look around then caught a girl with the features of that of a human and beast. She had Fox ears and tail as the rest of her body is human, Hellfang would at times go to her and pay for her services.

"Hey June."

"Oh! Hellfang your back are you looking for a little fun with me." she side in a cute way witch made Hellfang blush a little.

"Not this time, I am actually looking for Lydia."

June was a little surprise that he would be seeking out her as the girl knows that he only seek out female demi-humans for their services. She then notices a young boy on his shoulder.

"Hey is that a young boy your carrying on your shoulder."

"Yeah I found this kid out alone in the woods about to be an attack by a black bear, I killed the beast before it can do any harm to the boy."

"How heroly of you Hellfang to save a child." June slowly walk up to him rubbing her hand up and down his chest.

"Lydia is right now in taking care of a customer at this moment in her tent, so I say you should wait unit she down, but knowing you, you will just enter without permission, but when done with you business maybe we can do business."

June hand go straight down to Hellfang private area giving rub then she leave him be. Hellfang had a big grin on his face thinking about how much he wanted to enjoy june body very soon.

Lydia tent was easy for Hellfang to find, her look better outside then the other working girl tents and inside the tent was bigger. Before Hellfang enter, he can hear two types of moans one from a female which is Lydia and the other one was unknown male.

Hellfang read himself for the big mouthing he going to get for coming in without permission at the time she doing business.

"Hey Lydia know it not a good time, but I got something that i am going to talk to you about." Hellfang said as he enters.

Hear his voice, Lydia stop claiming down with sweat and turning her head to Hellfang giving him one mean angry look that made him shack in fear.

"Hellfang this better be damn good for you to come in while I am doing business right now."

"Yeah it important." he answer her holding the Victor in his arms now for her to see.

Lydia see the boy and sighs heavily as she turns back to the man she was pleasing.

"Sorry dear customer look like something important has come."

The man was about to say something, but Lydia put a finger to his mouth stopping him.

"In order to make up for this, I get another girl to take care of you for free."

She quickly got off him and walk pass Hellfang opening the entrance of her tent calling out another girl name. That girl quickly appear when Lydia called, she inform this girl about what is going on and the girl nodded agreeing to Lydia of what said to her.

"Alright everything has been taken care, you may go now dear customer."

Lydia got the man off the bed pushing him towards the girl, she called over as the two of them left.

"Alright then out with it Hellfang."

"Yeah no if we are going to talk, I rather you have clothes on."

Hellfang pointed out as he sees her standing in front of him naked show her yellow eyes that one can mistake of two pools of melted butter, her luxurious, straight white hair, slender build body and that light-colored skin of hers.

"Fine I put damn clothes on your big baby." Lydia said putting in some clothes on as well as cleaning up the bed she just used not too long for Hellfang to lay down the boy on.

"Alright now speak." Lydia commed

"Yeah, yeah look I find this kid out in the woods alone, I saved him from being killed by black bear and then he passed out right after he saw me."

Lydia let out a laugh.

"Seeing you ugly face must have done the job, but anyway now that i see the boy more clearly, I noticed something out of the orderly."

Hellfang can tell what was Lydia was about to say.

"I know he a noble, I can tell right way by the nicly clothes he was wearing, but the only thing I can't figure out is how this boy ended up in the woods."

"Ha there two things one can think of either the child got lost and his paratens are looking for him right at this moment or…. He was abandoned."

The two were quit as Hellfang knows Lydia can relate in a way from the second thing she said.

"Well nonetheless, I am guessing you wish me to look after this child for you."

"If you can that will be nice."

"Will I be paid?." Lydia asked turning to face Hellfang who was not looking her in the eyes.

"You have got to joking! Stop being cheap and paid me."

"Wait! How about you can call in a favor from me."

"Sure that work for me, I like to call in that favor from you right now!."

Hellfang didn't want to fight with Lydia anymore giving up and paid her.

"Thank you, now you can go, I will watch over the boy now."

"Alright, let me know when the boy awakes ok."

"Yeah I make sure."

Hellfang said his goodbye leaving Lydia alone with the boy.

"Hmm you know this boy really has a cute face." Lydia said climbing into the bed as Victor still asleep grab hold of her.

Lydia smile seeing him cling to her like a child to their mother while she brushes through his thick, straight purple hair as he slept.
