1 Lost in Space

Beep!! Ti..Ti..Tu , "opening stasis chamber doors , purging gas, all systems critical Oasis instrumental system failing, Gravity from the black hole is affecting system controls, system is unable to open -all pods , danger imminent ." ..ergency Porto..col engaged."

Ship headed inside the black hole as it was ripped apart by the gigantic force. Some of the harder parts of the ship remained as they passed through the black hole and there was one stasis pod with in one of those pieces that looked like a small room, which was still showed a small red light blinking-inside of it.

After few hours with in the wreaking broken pieces of the ship a man was slowly waking up in one pod. The pieces of the ship slowly headed towards the nearest planet.

"What is ....happening ? Where am I? " He thought..He didn't see the familiar seen of him being in the place where he slept. What he saw was a giant planet the size of 100000 earths or more coming towards his face. He was still in an estranged state of mind. He didn't believe what he was seeing to be the truth. He forced himself to stay awake. " Even if I am to die today I will watch it to the end".

He thought about his friends that are probably dead. His Parents which he left back on earth and his short life of 22 years which he felt like wasted studying to get on this research ship. Without even a drop of alcohol, drugs never really enjoying life the way his friends enjoyed their lives. His only goal was to go in to the stars.

It was a 20 year project for the ship to launch. A ship unlike any other. A ship designed to explore deepest parts of Milky Way.

" I was 2 years old when i started pursuing this life. To become the top in Astronomy, Biology, Physics, Engineering, Nanotechnology, I have given up everything for this chance. Now I am about to die. The only thing I can do is laugh.. ha.. I wish I had at least gone out on a date ."

The pieces of the ship slowly made their way in to the atmosphere. Faster and then more , " it feels like this is going to take a while, I thought I would be dead already but why is it that this pod is still holding".

The reason was simple and yet complicated. Because he was one of the juniors in the research team , even after getting his spot on the team he was still treated as a genius kid without much life experience. So he was always left to deal with the things other wouldn't want to do. Such as hands on mechanic work related to the ships engine.

Since it was a research ship with not many people on board everyone was assigned a set of duties along with a set time for research. He was told to look after the engine room and just sleep in the large storage chamber next to it.

Because the engine area was the heart of the ship it was designed with a thicker layer of titanium around some of the important parts of it and it just happened to be that where his sleeping pod was placed was one of such areas.

Watching the monitor with in his pod as it felt like a never ending journey to death. As the view of the clouds got clearer he could see a vast piece of land slowly making its way to devour him.

It had been over 10 hours since his entry in to the atmosphere, and it felt like it could still be quite a long time until he gets to the ground. "This place feels even bigger then I originally thought it was." " I haven't even felt the planet's gravity yet which means I haven't really entered its atmosphere.

Just as he was thinking after another 15 hours he started to feel heavy all over his body. His bones started to crack. His organs started failing, he should be dead but just with the will to watch his life to the end , he endured.

The ship pieces that couldn't be broken with the force of the black hole slowly started disintegrating. The force became stronger and stronger until every piece of the ship along with the pod turned in to dust.

But there seemed to be a slightly dark spectre of light which remained within the dust. It went through the atmosphere , caught in the wind as it drifted around.

Slowly making its way towards a near forest . The wind carried it towards a building Which looked as if it was made with hides of beasts.

" Bring the warm water in madam is going in to labor"

it went in to the chamber of a women in labor. It fell on her belly as if it was being absorbed by the unborn child it disappeared as well as the soul which was with in the child. Devoured by the black spectre.
