Cat 1

"Go! What are you waiting for? Do you want to pass?" Su Rou's feminine voice sounded as Wang Yijun and the rest of the disciples charged forwards, through the now open gate, into a long foreboding cavern.

Chu Feng and Wang Yijun nodded to each other.

"Good luck."

"Same. You'll need it."

He leapt up, jumping over a few still stunned disciples and off into the cave. As soon as he entered, the air became humid and damp, with a faint light illuminating it.

"Shck! Shck! Shck! Shck! Shck!"

Then, the sound of thousands of projectiles rushed towards them, Wang Yijun smiling, as he dodged and deflected the coming needles.

Screams echoed throughout the cavern as probably about half of the disciples fell to the needles. They were not lethal, but sure hurt a lot….

As he ran, suddenly, a dark shadow darted by, blurring into the distance, past the front two people. Chu Feng, no doubt. Wang Yijun smirked a little, jumping as a barrage of silver needles shot by, nailing the guy to the right of him.

"NYA~~~" The Cat meowed in exhilaration as it held on for its life, stubby legs in the air.

In his previous life, Wang Yijun was quite invested in acrobatics, a skill that actually came quite in handy. In this world, people loved flashiness, but it was different. Mostly high speed, powerful, domineering stuff, Yijun on the other hand, like acrobatic, Matrix level crap. It was also handy for getting about, especially with cultivation.

Skittering about, Yijun dashed across the wall sideways, twirling about as the needles pierced the cavern walls and some of the disciples' bodies. Sparks flew around.

He was at the 3rd Spirit Level, so he could hold his own, even without the Cats. But of course, in this cliche Cultivation world, there is always a stronger dude that'll pop up after you reach the top. Yes for plot….

In front of them, another five people were charging forwards. Of course, farther ahead were the two "Geniuses", Duan Yu something and another kid. Yijun and the other three were neck and neck, with Yijun slightly ahead of them. But of course, that was only by a hair. The Cat on his head looked back at the other three condescendingly, sticking out its tongue at the shocked disciples, causing two of them to stumble and lose traction. Those two poor souls were then peppered like hedgehogs, screaming in agony.

"Nya~"

"Nya Nya~"

"Meow….."

The other three were sort of irritated, veins pulsing as they sprinted, simultaneously avoiding the needles.

The cavern seemed to have no end, descending deeper and deeper, needles becoming almost unbearable to the disciples, two more dropping behind, as besides Yijun and the two disciples, one other one persevered, running forwards, gasping heavily for air.

As Yijun deflected all the incoming needles, he looked back for a split second, watching the last disciple stagger to the ground, attempting to capture his breath before being assaulted by the needle storm. The guy may still get into the inner sect, as the needles are not meant to kill someone, and even if you do succumb to them, if you try hard enough, getting to the end is still a possibility.

Wiping some sweat off his face, Wang Yijun, tired of the constant attacks, quickly opened a large constantly expanding virtual screen, and selected a cat.

Popping into existence with a clean crisp clang, a short figure appeared on Yijun's shoulder, the normal Cat moving aside to make room.

It was a big one, taller than the Cat. About five feet tall, the cat wore long extended wooden sandals and a flowing black trench coat, with an ornamental flame design down the side. Bulging muscles adorned its arms, which were covered in dirty white bandages. A visored black cap adorned the Cat's head, with two holes allowing its small ears to poke out. Like most others, its fur is a bright white, the difference, being its smug confident expression.

This beast of a Cat, is the Ultra Delinquent Cat, a strong Cat that is definitely not a rip-off of Jotaro Kujo… But still…. Honestly, the cat was completely sick.

Upgraded to max level, the Delinquent Cat showed its stuff, behind it, a giant ogre-like figure manifesting. With flowing spiky Madara-esque black hair and an ogre-like face, it struck out around the calm Wang Yijin with its four spiked arms, turning all of the needles into pulp. Pointing its finger forwards, the confidence the Cat produced boosted Yijuns morale ten-fold, causing him to bolt forwards, starting to catch up with the further ahead "Genius" duo.

The "Stands" fists punched through anything that came close, emitting a brilliant yellow aura with each punch of its fists…. A sound effect rang satisfyingly through Wang Yijuns ears. It sounded weirdly familiar to the sound one would hear during the fight scenes of a certain Jojo's Bizzare Adventures….

Then, in the distance, Wang Yijun could see the end, or the entrance to the Main Hall, where the rewards were located. The two geniuses seemed to be arguing with each other and bantering so Yijun ignored them as he bolted forwards, nodding to the Jotar- Delinquent Cat, who smirked, showing off its pudgy cheeks.

Around them, there seemed to be a lot of Fierce Beasts, all of them dead… The pedestal with the reward on it was located up a set of carved stone stairs, but Wang Yijun knew that Chu Feng had already taken them. Yijun sort of wanted to take them, but for now, for at least three more months, he wanted to stay incognito.

His scarf covered most of his face, so it should be good. As he ran forwards, creating momentum, the Delinquent Cat manifested the "Stand" once more, which smashed its fists into the floor, sending them up and over the genius Duo, propelling himself into the opposite wall, past the pedestal, with a bang.

The two geniuses, or say, idiots did not seem to notice, as the older of the pair jumped forwards, confident that they had been first, wanting to collect the reward. Sadly for them, the main character was in the house and was trying to stay lowkey. (*Chu Feng)

Wang Yijun got up, groaning a little as the Delinquent Cat looked at him questionably. They had literally crashed into the wall for no reason….

"We technically got there second…. It is still a race right?" Propping himself up, Yijun hid behind a beast corpse, watching in interest as the rest of the crowd arrived, looking on in awe at the two Geniuses, who stood around the countless Fierce Beasts. The two retards stood there, basking in the praise, and accepting the credit.
