Chapter 2: James Kraft

As Mr.Kraft spoke the soldiers stopped advancing.

His wife on the other hand became dumbfounded .

She never thought her husband would actually give their child away .

Breathing heavily she tried to compose herself, but as she tried to speak she started to stutter.

Yo...you ac...tually

Seeing this Mr.Kraft sighed.

Looking deeply at his wife he spoke.

"Let's just go with the authorities... I mean all of our neighbors agreed to it, that means they will think twice before doing anything harmful since ..we are a pretty large community."

Seeing his wife still not speaking. He continued to urge.

" Our son might really have that condition..Our neighbors son, jeff was also thought to be normal until that is he vomited acid from his mouth."

Hearing this she started to waver. She also heard of this since their neighbors had to bury their dog which looked like it was burned alive due to its inner parts being cleanly removed and exposing its white ribcage.

Of course the first thing they did after that was to call the authorities, since they proclaimed to have a way to deal with those conditions.

It might have sound harsh but he was already 12 yrs.old and still prone to vomiting foods he doesn't like , hence the decision.

Apparently they just plan to wait until his mature enough not to vomit uncontrollably, I mean as long he does not vomit right? His considered cured.

Krafts house: James krafts bedroom

In a bed, our young friend James (12 yrs.old) finds himself unable to sleep due to the large commotion below.

Due to their loud voices, James was able to discern what was going on below, so he thought (Holy fck I'm gonna get dragged like a dog aren't I?)

Just yesterday he remembered his old buddy Jeff being knocked unconscious and forcefully dragged when he accidentally vomited acid on a soldiers butt due to him being choked when they dragged him by the neck when he refused to leave his room.

He felt sympathy..

Not towards his friend but the soldier; He would probably called a true blue half assed soldier.

But when he thought about it more carefully, he really deserved it; I mean what kind of soldier or any person by that matter drag a child in the neck.

Thinking about that, he suddenly felt an urge to escape.

So like any other youngster who wanted to escape when their room is upstairs, He got up, tied his bedsheets to each other and tied them to the metal bar underneath his bed.

After testing the firmness,he smiled.

Krafts house: Living room

After all that drama, they finally reached a conclusion.

James would be taken.

After some deliberation they realized that it cant be prevented.

If the government suddenly made an exception , wont it cause an uproar to those who where reluctant in the first place?

As the couple was preparing to go upstairs they saw someone hanging in the window.

Much to there surprise it was actually their son who was slowly climbing down.

Outside the Krafts house

Whew, I'm almost near the ground. Now I just need to jump and make a run for it.

All was according to plan until he saw his parents and the soldiers looking at him through the window.

(Srsly?, Where was the freakin curtains? )He thought inwardly.

After the initial shock the people in the living room immediately went out to catch the child.

"Well, it looks like your child just cant wait to get treated huh? " Said the scar faced man.

Since the couple already agreed, they immediately sent him to the military truck after some goodbyes and cryings with his parents.

Before getting in the truck he waved his parents goodbye.

Seeing her son getting on the truck, tears began to form again. But consoled herself it would just be a quick checkup.

Little did she know that this might just be there last goodbye.
