1 Chapter 1: Prologue/Introduction Aka Info Dump

*Sobbing* "My dear girl! *Sniff* Already all grown up, *Sobbing*"

"Oh come on dad! Stop crying all ready! I'll come back here when I'm strong and have free time."

"Dear, you hear what she said, she'll come back, so stop crying." A beautiful lady cares for the man whose her husband, crying quite a lot, and tries to hold back her tears. "You better come back!" The father yells at the protagonist who's his daughter. "I will!"

As she says that, she leaves her parents and walked away from her home while waving goodbye to them.

*sigh* When she had gone far away from her parents, she sighed, "Father really worries too much."

Our protagonist, a 15 year old, black hair with bright purple at the edges and tied up in a ponytail. Her eyes were purple and it would glow like the stars, skin pale and smooth, with a Birth Mark that would look like a tattoo was from her right shoulder to her arm. It had a appearance like vines but sharp and demonic looking. It's base was deep black like the abyss and at the edges were purplish black. At her back hand was a image of like a black hole and it was almost lifelike, almost real.

That Black Hole Tattoo gave her too much attention, so her parents gave her a special glove that her parents made for her, it's appearance almost matches her colors and her birthmark. And the glove was also fingerless and very hard to damage. Hard enough to withstand blades, which made her curious of her parents background, and though they seemed like a normal family with no special background, they somehow got her or made her a glove that could block blades.

Also she found something special about her birthmark which she didn't tell of her family, which that it could suck anything inside and time there would freeze. How she knows it freezes time in there? She put in Hot food, and after a day later, it would be still hot as it was sent inside when she took it out. She tried putting in larger things like couches or mini-refrigerator, which they perfect got in, she went with a conclusion or hypothesis that it could put anything inside but living creatures.

So using this ability to her advantage, she secretly stored in various items she needed for her dream, which was being a brawler. The largest and greatest occupation that almost everyone has or was.

As to what Brawlers are, Brawlers are like players, they have Quartzens which they are limited to bring out only 6 Quartzens. Brawlers can hold as much as they want as long they can hold onto them. They also have Quartzenballs and Quartzen Cards which make Quartzen Deck that has limit 60 Cards.

Quartzenballs are used to capture Quartzens and transform them into their sealed form, which are round balls in the size of golf balls. There are different species of Quartzens and according to their species they have certain unique patterns, and their colors represent their elements.

There are about 6 primary elements, Inferno, Aqua, Wind, Earth, Darkness and Light. There are more unique and rarer elements which are Metal, Ice, Lightning, Lava, Time, and Space. Making there are 12 Total Elements. Each Element has their special colors related to their elements.

Element to Base Color and Pattern Color: Inferno is Red and Orange, Aqua is Blue and Sky Blue, Wind is Green and Lime Green, Earth is Wood Brown and Light Brown, Darkness is Black and Purple, Light is White and Yellow.

Metal is Chrome and Metallic, Ice is Crystal and Azure, Lightning is Purple and Gold, Lava is Crimson and Bronze, Time is Sand Tan and Silver, While Space is Bright Galaxy and Dark Galaxy.

Now for Quartzen Cards, they cards that can support Quartzens they use to fight for them. There are 4 Types of Cards, Boost, Ability, Special and Combination. These cards cannot be drawn but must be found in a Duel World. A Special Dimension that cannot be damaged, a flat landscape with cards here and there. Cards are blank at first, but when they are obtained, they become a random card but suits the element to what Quartzen the Brawler has.

"Now where is the Evyin's Brawler Guild?" As she enters the city, she looks all around seeing tall buildings, cars or ground vehicles levitating off the ground, driving by. She asked a few people about the location of Evyin's Brawler Guild. They kindly told her the direction and they walked away as she thanks them for telling her.

Soon, she stood before a massive building with the name Evyin's Brawler Guild above the doors. She enters the place and inside, she could tell how high tech the place was, due it's futuristic appearance which different from outside. She goes over to the counter where the receptionists were, they were all female, as they are more attractive than to have Male Receptionist.

"Hello, what can I do for you?" The Receptionist asks politely. "Can Register as a Brawler?"

"Oh? Are you a newcomer? Well, fill these out and I'll get you registered." She gives her a Registration Tablet that looks totally like glass for the screen that is, as there are metal parts at the edges. Looking at the questions on the Registration Tablet, she started to fill them out.

As to why she picked Adventure and Action, it's something she want to experience, as she wanted to find the unknown, seeking something that no one has known, and along the way, she wants to experience hardship and battles to what might come against her. It was her dream, becoming not someone just famous because of something small like being the champion of some tournament, she wants something big and tough, like battling the strongest Brawler or Quartzen, maybe challenge challenging events.

[ What Element(s) do you want to specialize in? All Elements ]

She choose to specialize in all elements due not wanting to stick to one or two elements, as it won't be much challenging in becoming the greatest in one element. She wants to be the strongest in all the elements she could find and wield. As during and in Duel World, the Quartzen Cards will be randomize and become similar but random to the elements the Brawler has in play. Like having A Inferno, Aqua, and Earth Quartzens in battle. There are 1/3 chances that it could be either of the elements. Along with 1/4 chances in getting a Boost, Ability, Special, and Combination Card

Though seemingly haven't explained what Boost, Ability, Special, and Combination Cards are.

Boost Card are pretty simple, they can either increase, Power, Speed, Defense, or Spell. Power is being Physical Damage, Speed is Movement and Attack Speed, Defense is how much Damage it could take, or the HP, and Spell is the Magic Damage, which increases damages like Fire Breathing Attacks, or increase the Healing effectiveness.

Ability Cards are cards that involve with a Quartzen's Magical and Unique capabilities, like a Skill called Hydro Pump, or Empowered Slash. Hydro Pump being a Aqua Ability Card, and Empowered Slash being a Normal Ability Card, which almost any Quartzens can use, if they got Claws or Blades on them that is. As Empowered Slash involves with blades, and any Normal Ability Card can used for any Quartzen, as long they have the requirements, like having a Blade.

Special Card are Special Attacks or Ability which seemed like Ultimate Attacks, one example would be Volcanic Eruption, causes any non-ally Quartzen to be damaged by half of their half and have the Burning effect, also some stun or dazing. As for Non-Attack Special Card, would be Eden Sanctuary or Aegis Invincibility. Eden Sanctuary being support and Aegis Invincibility Being Defense type.

Combination Cards involve with two or more Quartzen in as requirement, it's similar to Special Card, but the attacks could be involved with 2 or more Elements. Like an Combination Attack that has Inferno and Wind Elements. The Combination attack could be of same elements like Inferno and Inferno ontop on each other, this just makes the Inferno Element Attack more powerful or faster if it was Wind on Wind.

After answering a few questions she was finally registered as a Brawler. The receptionist gave her two items. "Here is a Blank Brawler Battle Gear and your ID Card, but do insert a drop a blood in the ID Card." Luna inserts her ID Card that was pretty thick, into the Blank Brawler Battle Gear then attaches it to her right arm and she felt a small sting, which is the Blank Battle Brawler Gear taking a drop of blood from her.

The Blank Brawler Battle Gear started slowly fading in color. It's White Blank State turned Pitch Black, mist like images appeared on it moving around like it was alive or real thing. It grew patterns similar to her birth mark. All of these surprised her and the receptionist, and only Luna could see her Birthmark glowing purplish, but dimmed away after the transformation ended.

The first one to speak about what happened was the receptionist, "This is a first for me, seeing such a unique design, you might have a bright future as a Brawler." Luna nods and changes their subject away from what had happened, "Can you tell the Ranking for every Brawler? Just to remind me." Luna asks the receptionist, which she agreed to.

"Between the ranking between Brawlers, There are the Beginner Brawler, Novice Brawler, Adept Brawler, Expert Brawler, Elite Brawler, Master Brawler, Grandmaster Brawler, Legendary Brawler, Mythical Brawler and God Brawler. and throughout the world, there has only been 6 God Brawlers with their perspective Primary Elements. There are 10 Mythical Brawlers, and a few Legendary Brawlers throughout History. There had been Grandmasters Brawlers and some of them were pretty recent. As you were just registered, you have been set as Beginner Brawler and pick your first Quartzen. So come with me as I'll bring you to where the Guild Keeps all the Starting Quartzens for Beginner Brawlers that have entered into the guild."

Luna and the receptionist left the countered and soon entered the Room where they would keep all the Quartzens that should be used for Beginner Brawlers.

Luna was marveled at all the cased and displayed Quartzens that were sealed in their Ball form. The Receptionist was on a terminal and the Display Cases started to shift and move around and new ones Display Cases appeared, but some of them went away and replaced by another case, and this went for a while now.

"Alright you can search for a Starting Quartzen you want." Luna smiled and runs around the area looking at the various Sealed Quartzens with tags near them, telling the viewer it's species. Though she was excited for getting a Starting Quartzen, she found that none of them gave her bonding feeling, they never really gave her the feeling of wanting them, just detachment... Until she noticed her birthmark started to shine dimly, as it never does this excite for something good like treasure was nearby.

So using this as guide to finding the perfect Quartzen for her, she played Hot and Cold with it.

Sooner or later she was now in front of a Quartzen whose color dull white and grey, almost like a Blank. The Receptionist who was beside her was stunned that she had picked this Blank Quartzen.

"Is there something wrong with it?" Luna ask the Receptionist, as she saw her stunned expression. The Receptionist replies to her, "Yes, this 'Blank' Quartzen is impossible to be used through the time it was discovered in ancient ruins. Many Powerful Brawlers, even a Mythical Brawler, were unable to activate or bring out the Quartzen that is Sealed inside it." Receptionist tells the history of the Sealed Quartzen.

Hearing this, Luna smiles brightly as this Sealed Quartzen was a Challenging Quartzen that no one is able to use. "I'll pick this one!" Luna tells the receptionist, which she reluctantly gave it to her. When the Quartzen was in her hands, Luna froze for a min while looking at the Quartzen, and came back to her senses.

The Receptionist didn't know what had happened to her when the Quartzen was brought into her hands, she didn't have time to ask Luna on what happened when Luna had quickly sent a goodbye to her and left the Brawler Guild quickly.
