6 New Team Mate

Oliver struggled not to cry. He hadn't expected to be so well received. The men seated at the table all introduced themselves. Dr.Thyli was in charge of importing and exporting products as well as checking the quality of the merchandise.

He led his own team of scientists and laborers. Dr.Judye was responsible for the conditions of all merchandise. He would often pull certain batteries out of the sale listings just so that he could make sure they were all in top condition.

Dr.Judye and Professor Thyli both worked together and were in charge of the quality and selling of products.

Dr. Kain and Dr. Lai worked in production. They looked over the production and storing of all products. Dr.Lai was famous in the mathematician circle for his quick mental maths ability. It was said that once someone had mistakenly supplied a battery with too much fuel and Dr.Lai figured out the exact amount of Anti-Tox needed to counteract the over fuelage in seconds.

Dr.William was the newest member of the team. He specialized in the storage and shipping of unproduced batteries. Oliver looked up to him the most since they both went to Maxwell and since he was only 6 years older.

Professor Meite overlooked the group and did most of the paperwork.

During the introductions, Oliver felt happier than he had in a long time. No matter how hard he tried, he couldn't keep a straight, professional face.

He stopped trying, however, when Dr.William stood to shake his hand. "Oliver please allow my assistant Marie to take care of your temporary accommodations. I'll be expecting you here tomorrow at 9:00 am, sharp." Oliver spoke in agreement and bade the MHEMC team farewell.

Oliver woke up early and quickly got dressed. He pressed a button on the wall and breakfast was delivered shortly later. After eating, Oliver rushed over to section 3. As promised Dr.William was waiting for him near the room they met in prior.

They greeted each other and walked over to a small refreshments room. Dr. William sat down across from Oliver at a table in the corner of the room. "So Oliver, I was thinking about how I should start your internship here.

You will take turns a day at a time with each of our members learning the ins and outs of the job. Today I'll be showing you the storage facilities and how new batteries are shipped in from the factories." Oliver nodded.

Once he finished his internship and officially graduated from Maxwell, Oliver planned on working in the upkeep section. Something fascinated him about the way the batteries were charged and how their life expectancy could be extended.

Dr.William explained the rules of the lab and that Oliver was forbidden from interacting with or touching the batteries in any way before they were properly packaged because he might permanently damage them.

Dr.William led Oliver into a different building where the unpackaged batteries would be unloaded from the factories. A Large truck could already be seen backing up into the automated plug that would allow the batteries to be transported into the storage room without being contaminated.
