Chapter 3

In all honesty you probably wondering how someone my age can get away with not being caught. Congratulations you've discovered another one of my secrets, and that this story was not based in a non-fiction setting. x ') Hahaha. Yeah so let's start with my backround and what happened then to make me like this now.
Well it all started when I was born with my two brothers. Well technically not born more like was artificially made into a human being with several perks. So my mother never actually gave birth to me I was an experiment. My family wanted a child to take over the family business but they had three of us so they tried to experiment. If they could have the strongest and smartest heir then the rest of the kids would be unnecessary. So after 5 years of being forced to learn everything and being constantly injected with serums to make us stronger, quicker, and fitter. The side effects from the serums started showing since these were new drugs. It caused some physical and mental mutations to our bodies. In my case I have what I call sharp wings. My wings can be pulled in and out of my body thanks to them being harder than steel and sharper than almost anything. But because they're so sharp and protected the downsides are that they are heavy and hard to control. Making fighting with them slow and hard to stay in balance; which is why I do not take them out ever. My brother Kai has some sort of energy thing. He can manipulate any energy within his body or within physical contact of energy. He can increase his speed, strength, or speed up his thinking process to match the speed of his body. Damion, my other brother was not experimented on since they needed a subject to fall back on if something happened to me or Kai.
All of this led to me and Kai being tired of being subjects to science. So using the knowledge they taught us we ran from home. I accidently let my brother Damion stay behind since he couldn't fight or run yet. I decided that since me and Kai were gone they couldn't prove we were still alive and they had to keep Damion alive. So while we're running from home I left my baby brother with a bunch of phsycopaths to make him stronger. I love him but I also understand if he hates me to death. There's no way he doesn't after what I did.
Anyway that story leads to how we eventually found two other people running from life problems as well. We all joined together to fight for our lives and now each one of us is hiding in some remote branch of the military. I meet several people and saved most of their lives or did them favors. They now support my new backround and identity to pay me back. Obviously I would've been caught otherwise if several officers didn't know what I was. All of us get what the others are going through. But I also just realized I have not actually described how any of us look so here you go....
< Kai >
Age- 10
height- 4'11
Basic appearance- White hair, white eyes, withdrawn attitude, and will kill you if you make him mad.
Gender- Male
Sanity level- 3/10
Abilities- energy control within physical contact or within self.
Side effects- If not supplied with not enough energy on a daily basis he'll pass out or in severe cases flatline.
Current Military Branch- Airforce
<Scarlett>
Age- 10
Height- 4'11
Basic appearance- long straight white hair with small black streaks, red eyes, outgoing attitude, and will leave you paralyzed for life if you make her mad. Uses hair dye and contacts to hide her distinguishable features.
Gender- Female
Sanity level- 3/10
Abilities- sharp wings that can cut through solid steel, and cannot be penetrated by weapons.
Side effects- severe lag in speed and can cause almost immediate tiredness if overused. Also hard to keep balanced or fly without a lot of strength.
Current Military Branch- Regular Army
<Rose>
Age> 11
Height> 5'0
Basic appearance> Red hair, brown eyes, scar over right eye, Sarcastic attitude, and will blow you to smithereens with a bomb if you make her made. She dyes her hair constantly to hide its original color.
Gender- Female
Sanity level- 2/10
Abilities> Bone Armour, she can strengthen, add, or even take away bones in her body to create an Armour. She positions the bones outside her body to protect her skin if needed.
Side effects> She is always consuming calcium and other products to strengthen her body. If she doesn't have enough of these ingredients she'll have weaker bones and they're less effective.

<Sara>
Age> 11
Height> 5'1
Basic appearance> Yellow hair, green eyes, shy attitude, and will assassinate your a** if you make her mad.
Gender> Female
Sanity level> 8/10
Abilities> Knows several martial art styles, can almost use every weapon made, and is immune to several toxic poisons.
Side effects> Doesn't have any powers/ abilities
CMB> With Scar in the regular army.

So Sara just might be the only normal one in this entire group. I mean my side effects suck and so does Kai's. Back to our story line now.
Right after that phone call I received yet another one. Picking up the phone after I saw the contact name and said " What do you want Sara?"
" Wow first of all rude Scar, how long have we known each other now? Like 3 or 4 years now right? " She smarted back over the phone.
" Sorry, I just got of the phone with that man and I've been promoted again." I sighed realizing I shouldn't be venting my stress on Sara.
" Yeah, I think that they're only doing that to use you. Why? No idea, but you better be careful before you get caught in their web of lies." She cautioned. "These people are corrupt sometimes and they're only after the power you hold."
"Yeah I'm being as careful as possible in this situation but Its becoming difficult to keep up. Especially since I'm now the highest ranked officer on our team." I started walking towards my room to get clothes to shower.
"Be careful, I don't think that anyone will target you but things always happen." She suddenly sounded chipper and said " My target just walked into my line of sight~. Watch as I sit 600ft from this man with my sniper aimed at his back." She cackled evilly.
That just creeped me out as I imagined the scene in the middle of Iraq with Sara sitting on some roof 600ft from her target. The guy she was hunting is some big time drug dealer who's been conducting his business in the black market. Obviously no one thought of the fact he might just be killed by a sniper laughing her a** off. And here I thought she was the sanest of us. Maybe I was wrong.
" Sara, don't tell me when you're about to kill people I don't want to imagine the picture. It bothers me deeply." I complained from the other side of the phone and continued to say " Keep off of your phone when you have a job to do. I shouldn't have to tell you that when it's obvious. Plus I'm hanging up to shower after my mission." While I'm at it, write the families of those soldiers what happened and send them their dog tags.
" Wow such a downer Scar, and I heard what happened about your most recent mission to so I'll hang up to let you write letters to the family's. Bye~"
I gave my phone a look to kill when she hung up. It deemed useless so it left me in a worse mood than I already was. I clicked my tongue and continued my way into the shower after I pulled a set of clothes out of my drawers. But it seems lady luck hates me since on my way to the showers I ran into Kale and his God awful singing. Damn I thought there was some really bad singers in America but he sounded like a dead corpse trying to sing after having his vocals ripped out.
Dear future Miss Kale, I apologize in advance for the man you have to put up with for the rest of your life. I would kill my own eardrums if I had to listen to this everyday. I could only imagine your future pain.
"Well if it isn't the Liutenant!" Kale exclaimed when he finally caught sight of me.
"Actually I was promoted." I said flatly.
His mouth gaped open, "Really?! Again!? How do you pull this off every time? By the end of next year you'll be one of the highest ranking officers there are!"
"Bull! Don't go around yelling about unnecessary things you Dimwitted dog." I snapped harshly on him.
" Huh! Captain! How could you say that to a friend?" he gave me a sad look. I did not feel bad in the slightest.
"Well of you could do something other than annoy, shoot, and catch grenades then I would call you something else." I said blandly.He gave me a heart broken look. "Now get into the damn shower Kale you're pi**ing me off." I said as I strode into the women's room to shower.
"RUDE!" Kale exclaimed outside.
I just rolled my eyes at his antics and pulled out a pack of hair dye and a new set of contacts to wear. Turning towards the showers I turned on the cold water. (Yes I'm one of those people). While I took my merry time cleaning myself I pondered on what I am going to do if this army thing backfires. I could always go to Russia or maybe even Greenland to stay and hide, but if they target Kai and Rose in another branch of the military then I'll have to deal with this problem directly. Now what might be better? Start at the top of the food chain and then kill everyone down to the bottom, or start at the bottom then make my way to the top? Well, whatever as long as the problem goes away permanently.
Finishing with my shower I stepped outside the Women's room to find Pi right outside. "Hey there rookie what's up?" I asked after noticing his antsy behavior.
"Well Captain," looks like Kale that blabber mouth went around telling people my promotion, " it seems that there is a problem with our supplies."
I frowned, "What do you mean problem?"
"The shipment with our water supplies and food along with other things we ordered was intercepted. We cannot get another shipment and we're running low on ammo as well as several other necessities." Pi continued with a very concerned tone.
Shit, well isn't this just swell. "Who intercepted our supplies?" I asked warily hoping he wasn't going to say KEVA.
" KEVA."
"DAMN IT! The worst terrorist group there is and they target US?"
Pi added hastily " There is also a call from headquarters asking for your opinion and what you plan on doing."
I smirked, oh they are so gonna regret this when I am through with them. "Tell headquarters that I'm sending a team of highly skilled soldiers to deal with the problem permanently. While you're at it get me the rest of the heavy ammo."
Pi looked at me curiously, "What exactly are you planning Captain?"
"Just a small doomsday for someone special~" I laughed evilly at the thought of finally getting rid of my problem. Oh how these poor people just helped me get a real reason to legally exterminate them. Never have to worry about KEVA again.
Pi just looked at me like I lost my mind. Along with a look that said ' you're crazy and bloodthirsty'.
