20 Kraven

"I want men all round snipers over there and there." the captain began giving orders the police had placed a barricade preventing any of the journalist from getting too close.

"Do we have a visual?" "negative no sign of the kids and Kraven or the batman" "dammit" Matt was pissed, " why don't we storm in? we only got a few minutes left before a kid dies on live television." "we can't" George spoke to his partner understanding his frustration very well.

"why the hell not?!" " we still don't have a visual and for all we know this could be a trap one wrong move and a kid dies." Matt understood his partner very well but it still didn't make him feel better.

In the building.

Kraven stood before the kids who were all huddled up together shaking, taking a look at his watch, the bat had a minute before a kid lost their life.

"It looks as though the batman doesn't take me seriously." he spoke with his russian accent terrifying the kids even more as he began to walk closer to them, "well we'll have to change that won't we."

*boom* there was an explosion at the side of the building drawing everyone's attention inside and outside. George looked up at the explosion and spoke to himself, "he's here".

Inside Kraven had directed his attention away from the kids to the site of the explosion preparing to finally face the batman. *boom* there was another explosion happened inside the building leaving a hole in the ground between Kraven and the kids.

There was silence, Kraven got his weapons out ready for the fight when he heard weird sounds. Kraven's curiosity lasted for a moment before he realised what it was and ran for cover just before countless bats rushed out the whole.

Kraven ducked behind a pillar as the bats flew out the building causing all those outside to look at the scene in awe, " Jesus..." Matt stared at scene in the sky shocked.

In the building several clicking sounds were heard then screams. Kraven was curious but didn't dare move until the bats were gone.

he moved towards the hole cautiously, he realised all the hostages were gone. looking through the hole he saw nothing.

"Come out!" he shouted while pointing his rifle towards the hole. He was then drop kicked before he could pull the trigger as batman descended from the ceiling and rushed at him.

"Hahaha you are truly wonderful." Kraven exclaimed as he pulled out his hunting knife and began to battle with one another. Batman soon realised he had sorely underestimated Kraven's skill and ability as he was kicked straight through a pillar.

"When I'm done with you batman, I'll mount your head on my wall! hahaha" Kraven laughed as he charged at batman who dropped a smoke bomb disappearing into the smoke.

Kraven was lost in the smoke alert and ready when he received a kick to the back of his head then a punch to his jaw.

Two batarangs came out and knocked away his two hunting knives, another one came out of the smoke aiming for his head but relying on sheer instincts he caught the batarang, *beep*beep*beep*beep* the batarang was blinking and his eyes widened when he realised what was happening *bang* there was another explosion and Kraven was sent through the floor.

Outside the building everyone was getting anxious after the explosions and bats and beginning to wonder 'just what the hell is going on in there'. The captain couldn't hold it anymore, "all units get in position and get ready to go in." At that moment George saw something and shouted "hold on! hold your fire!" everyone came to a halt and saw some figures rushing out the building, the figures were none other than the kids.

Batman flew down after him but Kraven rolled away just in time to avoid his punch. They both started exchanging blows once again but Kraven's enhanced strength and agility came into play.

Batman was taking more hits than he was giving. Bats soon had his back against a wall, he avoided a punch coming straight for his face and went round Kraven placing him in a sleep hold.

Kraven slammed him into the wall once more, causing batman to let go before turning around to punch the bat who rolled away from him.

Batman stood before him and held a switch which confused Kraven but as Batman pressed the button a volt of electricity went through Kraven finally knocking him out.

Batman let out a sigh of relief but before he could rest he heard footsteps and knew it was time to go.

The police arrived at scene only to see an unconscious Kraven with no batman in sight. on another building batman stood atop a building watching everything unfold.
